We had a comfortable stay here. The house was traditional, and well thought out. We loved the location in Hiro-o. The house is on a quiet side street in an upmarket location. The host was incredibly helpful and generous to meet us late at night for check in, and to direct our taxi driver in Japanese from the airport. Everything we needed to make our stay relaxed and homely was included. Thank you.

Outstanding Stay

It was me and my family's first time in Tokyo and this home made the stay amazing! Close to so many great food options, and right down the street from the Metro Station. Lovely home.

Fabulous Location

We were extremely happy with our stay in Hiroo. The location of this house was perfect for our family. Being so close to the train station made exploring Tokyo very easy. Very good food around this area especially the Bakery Truffle. Really loved being here.

Just perfect

I can’t say enough good things about this property! It is exactly as pictured, if not better. Our host met us and guided us to the property, which would have been impossible to find otherwise. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us and the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. The location is so great. Subway stop around the corner, tons of great places to eat and shop but still a quiet quaint neighborhood. Hiroo House really can’t be beat.

One week in Hiroo

Narrow 2 bedroom 3 storey traditional Japanese townhouse style property. Very narrow stairways difficult to get up & down with & without luggage.Super clean & everything in good working order.Toilet first & second level, tradition Japanese style bath/shower room.Hiroo is great, clean, close to transport, great food & coffee nearby.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us while in Japan. We have been managing this unit for the 12 th year so far, booked year round and blessed with repeaters through out the year. As you said it’s Japanese style house ,that is sitting on the most expensive land prices in Tokyo ( Hiroo ), so able to offer this kind of stand alone property on this area for families of 4 or 5 to stay comfortably is no small challenge Apart form that Glad to hear that you though everything else is perfect ,cleanliness ,functionality , host ‘s extra service and attention seems to have your satisfaction. We have great confidence that you will not find a similar residence in the same area that gives you a comparable budget. Regards.

Close to subway

Pros: extremely close to subway, Starbucks and seven eleven. Comfortable beds Cons: shower very outdated and kind of yucky Stairs extremely steep to climbOverall, I feel we would perhaps consider booking this again bc of the fantastic location and comfortable beds. But the pictures looked much nicer than the accommodation. I might look at other places as well.

Great house, great location

This was a perfect stay for adults with teenage boys. The house was comfortable and well equipped, it even has a little upstairs balcony for warm evenings. A quiet street, its just a block from lots of restaurants, cafes abd the all important 711! The subway stop is close and a little further is a lovely park for strolling. Highly recommend.

Hiro-o, a great place for the family

Azabu has a fantastic location and offers a truly convenient and comfortable stay. The host is an excellent communicator—friendly, responsive, and generous with his time. He even met with us in person to give a tour of the space and share great local recommendations.The apartment is ideally situated near the Hibiya Metro Line, which easily connects to two major lines that can take you almost anywhere in Tokyo.Just a short distance from Naka-Meguro, a trendy and vibrant neighborhood, Hiro-o offers a quieter, more laid-back atmosphere—perfect for those wanting a glimpse of local life in Tokyo.I would highly recommend this spot to both family and friends.

Perfect for a stay in Tokyo

The property was perfect for our stay in Tokyo. We were a group of 5, with 3 adults and 2 teens. There was enough space with two single beds on the top floor and two single beds on the middle floor. There was also a pull-out couch where one of the teens slept. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location was excellent, in a very quiet area. A nice little street with restaurants, shops and the nearest train station was just a block away. Check-in was easy as the host met us at a nearby business and then showed us the way. He was always quick to reply by text and came by almost immediately after we accidentally turned off the hot water!

Perfect location to get around everywhere in Tokyo!

The house was in the perfect location, close to transit, stores, restaurants, parks, grocery - checked off all the must-haves for a larger family with kids! The neighborhood is quiet even in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The house had everything we needed for our weeklong visit - very comfortable and lovely with decorations throughout! The owner greeted us and check-in was a breeze, and he continued to contact us to make sure we were comfortable, and shared all the great spots around town. Will definitely stay again!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home, where we were able to begin many of our daily Tokyo adventures and make lifelong memories!

Great location snd amenities

Roomy by Japanese standards, very comfortable place that was perfect for our family if 5. Two separate bedrooms and a large sofa in a walk-through room. Dinner table seating for 4. Location is awesome, close to everything. Quiet neighborhood. Lors of useful stuff insude, anything you need. Need to set up a meeting to check in (but not needed for check out). I'd stay there again. Really, really awesome teppanyaki place nearby called Chibo. From visual presentation to the dood itself it greatly exceeded our expectations

Great base for 5 nights in Tokyo

Stayed here 5 nights with my wife and 25yo daughter. This place was excellent. Super comfortable. We didn't spend a ton of time here, but when we did it was a good place for downtime and escaping the heat outside. Probably the best feature is the location. Hiroo subway stop is right around the corner, literally a 2 minute walk. And one street over is full of restaurants. Our favorite experience was Sushi Kamichan, where we had a great time as Ueharasan patiently taught us how to eat the amazing sashimi and sushi he put in front of us (we were apparently faking it even worse than we thought we were, so he offered to help). Anyway, a great location both because of easy access to anywhere you want to get to in Tokyo, and for the attractiveness of the nearby area if you decide to take it easy for a day or two. Strongly recommend.

This place was amazing. The nearby Hibaya subway line is Suica friendly and connected to all the major lines, which made it so easy to get around Tokyo with only 1 or 2 transfers. The neighborhood is very quiet with plenty of great shopping and dining options, and it gave us the "local" vibe we were looking for. The property was comfortable for our group of 5, and Azabu was an amazing host who provided some great recommendations for dining and sightseeing experiences. If you're looking for a "local" stay that easily connects to the larger city, don't pass this place up!
