Our stay was the week of August 16-23 2025.The house is very conveniently located , a short walk to Nauset Beach. It did come with towels and linens and the kitchen was amply stocked with dishes, pots etc. We did not carefully read the fine print on the listing as while it did say that there was a central AC unit in the kitchen/family room and master bedroom, we did not question whether the other bedrooms were air conditioned. The queen bedroom upstairs did have a free standing AC tower, but the other upstairs bedroom was stifling. Also the wall unit in the downstairs level did not adequately cool off either of the two bedrooms. Our family members who were in the 3 rooms without air conditioning spent several nights very uncomfortably before the weather changed. Another problem with the house was that the dryer did not have a knob to turn it on. We were left a wrench and a note which told us to use the wrench. There was no indication that a knob was being ordered or the dryer replaced. It was very awkward to use the wrench, thus doing the laundry was difficult. IIn addition, we were unable to use the pool for one day as the filter and heater were not working.The house had several other problems such as windows with notes attached stating not to open, and moldy pool chairs. The jetted tub also did not work. While the house is close to Nauset Beach, we did not feel that compensated for the poor condition of the house.
