Acceso privado a la playa, casa grande en el bosque

Un refugio único situado en lo que era un complejo familiar privado con playa privada en la bahía de Cape Cod. La playa está a menos de 700 pies de distancia a través de un hermoso sendero de arena que pasa por un camino de arándanos en el camino. La casa de 3000 pies cuadrados, aireada y luminosa, ha sido renovada en los últimos años. Todo el piso principal tiene pisos de madera de nogal con un plano de planta abierto. La nueva cocina ha perfeccionado los mostradores de granito con una gran isla cubierta de madera de cerezo con bancos. El nuevo y espacioso porche cubierto es ideal para vivir al aire libre, de día o de noche. Es adyacente al comedor al igual que la cubierta de niveles múltiples contigua. Lo coloca en un área aislada, cubierta de árboles, ideal para observar aves o simplemente sol, aire salado y sonidos de playa.

La gran sala de estar con TV, reproductor de DVD y estéreo también tiene una chimenea y una vista al bosque desde el gran ventanal. El dormitorio principal recientemente renovado con cama tamaño queen tiene su propio baño completo totalmente renovado. Las habitaciones 2 y 3 tienen cada una (2) camas individuales y comparten otro baño completo nuevo. El 4to dormitorio con 1 cama completa y 1 cama doble y tiene su propio 1/2 baño.

Raro encontrar - cerca de la playa y sendero para bicicletas.

Our Stay was wonderful!!! perfect spot to walk to the beach with the kids and grand kids . So close and convenient. We loved eating on the screen porch land plenty of room in the living room area to spread out as well. The hammock in the back yard was great. The out door shower was wonderful! The beds were very comfortable.If you are looking for a family vacation with children, I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful and always available for any questions you may have! The house is close to town as well!

We had an amazing week at this house. The location is incredible and we have already booked a week for next year. Truly the most gorgeous Cape Cod beach I have ever seen and so easy to walk to. We were 3 families with 4 toddlers and the house was great for our needs. The bedrooms are configured differently than the listing - bunk beds in the basement and then kings or queens in the 3 main floor bedrooms. This would have been helpful to know for planning beforehand but worked out well for us! Thank you for a great week!

We enjoyed our stay and the house is charming. However this listing is outdated and photos were not accurate. Bedrooms were not as described which makes it difficult to bring your own linens (which was not stated on the website). The house really needs some maintenance and deep cleaning. Beach items were broken or unusable. I would not recommend this place for guests traveling from out of state.

Wonderful family trip

My family has grown up spending time in Orleans every summer and with more babies being added we had to branch out to a new rental- this house was wonderful. Everything was as listed and we had everything we needed. Kate was easy to contact and responsive as needed during our trip! The house has a wonderful screened in porch which was a wonderful additional space to have and is only a 5 minute walk to the beach!

Family time

We had an excellent week at our beach house. Kate was easy to contact and answered all our questions and requests. The kitchen was well stocked. It shared an open concept with the living room and dining area. Great for meal preps and family conversations. Bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfortable. Remember to bring your sheets.The air conditioners kept the rooms comfortable at night. If not, clean the filter. My son did that for his room and the room cooled quickly. The fans throughout the house kept the ocean air circulating. We ate all of our dinners out on the screened in porch at the lrg table that accommodated all 10 of us. And played card and board games at night there. The yard was great for yard games. Beach Access was easy to use to reach a private beach. The central location made it easy to travel to other locations. You will be comfortable and satisfied with renting this home. Thanks Kate!!!

Skaket Beach Haven

A perfect location within walking distance to beautiful Skaket Beach and close to all the most desirable places to go to in Orleans. The house is well-appointed, and the kitchen especially well-equipped. The layout is perfect for an extended family of 3 generations. No neighboring houses to be seen on either side. The only suggestion we would make is that some of the bed mattresses need to be replaced. We would joyfully return another year!

A fun week with our family

We were very happy with our accommodations. The house is pretty and situated in a good spot for the beach. We did find the basement bedroom a bit musty and there were a lot of mosquitoes if we went outside in the early evening. We will definitely stay at the house again if it is available.

Summer on the Cape

This is the second year we have enjoyed this lovely house, so near the beach. Four well furnished bedrooms, 2.5 baths, an outdoor shower, a grill that works really well, a screened in porch and a short walk over dunes to the beach. Nicely furnished and comfie at the same time. And the owner is an easy text away in the event that we have a question or a need. We love it.

Lots to enjoy

Great space to enjoy both inside and outside. Loved the screened in porch, the expansive yard for playing yard games and relaxing in the hammock, an easy walk to a relatively private part of Skaket beach, and good access to the rail trail. Great spot for a Cape vacation!

Great vacation home for the Cape

The owners were easy to communicate with and prompt to answer. Check in is a breeze. The beach really is a 5 minute walk away down a charming path. Loved the openness of the main floor and the screened in porch -awesome!

Perfect Beach home

Perfect beach rental for a family. We stay in the same neighborhood every year and this was the best location so far. The house was clean, well equipped and the owner was extremely responsive. Very short walk to the beach makes it convenient to walk back to the house for lunch or to use the bathroom.

Great vacation house

This house is awesome! the living area open to the kitchen is perfect for family gatherings and the screeened in porch and big back deck make for tons of space. You are a short walk to a sandy picturesque dune to a beautiful pretty much private beach. We also loved the area with grocery store, restaurants, and tons to do very close. Ken the owner was thorough and great to work with as well. Definitely recommend

Beach vacation house

The house has a great location. It is walkable to a private beach which is next to Skaket, one of our favorite beaches. The kitchen is well equipped, and the screened in porch is terrific. The downstairs bedroom is in need of an update, but the family/living room area is very comfortable. The owners are very responsive and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend for a family beach vacation.

Back home

We used this house for a reunion with family near where we used to live in Orleans. It is a very comfortable house! We particularly enjoyed the screen room - ate most of our dinners out there, comfortably with 7 people, easily fitting more guests for dinner some evenings, and entertained old friends for afternoon visits. The kitchen is pretty well set up for cooking, utensil-wise, and is a good space for more than one person working. The center island was a good place for people to sit and enjoy hors-douvres while meals were prepared and the open living/dining/kitchen area was also a great space for all of us to be without feeling cramped. The walk to the bay is pleasant and easy. The peaceful location of this house and setting on the lot gives a very secluded feel, but is only about a mile from the center of town. Our only criticism would be the lack of a front walk. Older folks may have trouble with the slightly uneven footing. Overall, an excellent place to stay for our time in Orleans! We had a great stay in comfort, and will try to get this house again for our next get together!

Comfortable house in great location

The house is situated in a secluded area with a quick walk to the beach. The house is beautifully maintained with a convenient outside porch, comfortable living room and bedrooms and nice kitchen. Orleans is a great location on Cape Cod and this house made our vacation perfect. Owners very helpful.

A Wonderful House!

This is a lovely house in a wonderful location! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The house offers enough space for a group--a large living room, spacious screened porch and outdoor deck, plus open kitchen and dining areas. It's all very clean and appealing, and the recent remodeling of kitchen, bedroom, bathrooms, and porch really provide beautiful space for a vacation! The location is secluded enough to offer quiet and privacy but near beach, shopping, and restaurants--a perfect combination! The walk to the beach is easy and pretty, and the beach itself is lovely. Cape Cod Bay offers low tides that invite lots of walking and high tides perfect for swimming. And the sunsets are amazing! The owner is responsive and helpful. This is an ideal spot for a memorable vacation!

Great beach access

We stayed here in August of 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house is well stocked with everything necessary and clean. The location is wonderful - a short walk to the beach and easy bicycle access to the rail trail. There are several restaurants nearby as well as grocery shopping. Our favorite was pizza at Zia's followed by ice cream at Sundae School. We would stay again.

A comfortable house in a great location!

The house is prettier than it looks in the pictures, and very comfortably furnished. It is roomy and well equipped. THe owner is very responsive to any questions you may have and to top it off, the location is wonderful - the walk to the beach is quintessential cape cod and the bike path is easily accessed. I would highly recommend this property!
