Great place to stay

Great communication with the owner. Gorgeous wee place to stay, and close to everything. Definitely recommended and we will definitely stay again

Great space and excellent location

Fantastic two bedroom space situated in a great area of Christchurch. Nice quiet location, clean and well furnished with everything you would need for a long or short stay. Plenty of stores, cafes and a grocery store within walking distance. Property manager is excellent, great communication and availability. Highly recommend this unit.

Christmas in Christchurch

A good clean place with everything you need in the kitchen. We found it a little tight with 3 young children but it met all our needs. Overall, a good place to stay.

Location was the reason I chose the property and it didn’t disappoint.

Easy to get to and close to quality shopping and restaurants. Tastefully furnished with comfortable and stylish furnishings. Kitchen very well equipped. An honest reflection of the advertising.

Perfect location title is apt

If you dont mind a flat at the back of other flats, then this place is great. There wasnt any view to speak of, but owner had thought of all the needs, for people staying. It was comfortable and tidy. Our only issue was that we found it very stressful only getting key details 30 minutes before entering property, but on the other hand our queries were answered, once we were there.

This is a tidy 2 bedroom/1 bathroom unit on a quiet street in Merivale. It is walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. The unit had everything we needed: TV, Wi-fi, nice size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. It is very good value. Our only complaints were it was not always easy to contact the host, and, there were no instructions left on how to use the TV or the coffee maker. But, because of the excellent location, good price and amenities that we could access, we would definitely consider staying at this property again.

Great location with everything we needed

We arrived for check in and had a bit of trouble getting the code but after some calls we got the code and easily accessed the property. Nice off street parking out the front with plenty of room. The unit is neat as a pin with everything you could think of provided. Close to cafes and an easy drive to the mall or city. Lovely little deck outside to enjoy the sun. We really couldn’t have asked for more for a handy spot with great amenities. Helpful, friendly communication - we requested an extension of one night to our stay which was quickly confirmed with no hassle. We loved our stay here - thanks!!

Awesome property, perfect size and so close to everything we needed. Listing did mention a washing machine and we were delighted to find out it was a washer/dryer combo so no washing when we got home 👍 Only 1 fault… no toaster 😆 no biggie though.

Beautiful tidy place to stay.

This beautiful two bedroom place has everything you required from the kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and to the bathroom. Even have bins provided outside for your rubbish. Highly recommended 👌

Not all it was meant to be

The property was in a good location and clean but it was much smaller and older than photos and owner let on. There were multiple things that were not up to what one might expect. Very small shower, no heated towel rail, fold out only for a child not an adult. There is no way 6 people could stay. We had 3 and it was a push. We never got the WiFi to connect so had to hotspot the entire time. Communication was sparse and delayed.

Would be a lovely property in summer.

Despite there being a washing machine, there was no dryer or clothes airer in the property. There was no way to dry clothes, which in the middle of winter and a stay of 10 days, was really difficult. There was no way of contacting the host to ask for help, so we borrowed a clothes airer from a friend. There is a clothes line outside, but there was no way washing would dry outside in the Christchurch winter. The bathroom had a really musty smell, and either needs a good clean or the drains need looking at. Other than that, it was a nice property and the location worked well for us.

Nice property, but communication problems with host

The property worked well for us from a location point of view, but we had issues communicating with the host. We discovered after departure that the host had been in the States, and had issues with her phone and so didn't get back to us despite calling and txting several times. Luckily we didn't need to contact the host due to being locked out or an emergency. Not being able to get a response was really frustrating.

Great family stay

Stayed here with our three kids. Warm, comfortable, very nice! With foldout beds sleeping spaces worked well. Great location. Far better than a motel for a family trip to Christchurch. Owner very helpful and communication was easy. Highly recommend!
