Pet friendly. The only issue we had, was that we had to purchase several things that are usually included - dish soap, dish washer soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.

Ramirez family trip!

We went as a family trip and also celebrated 2 of my sister in laws birthdays. The house was a perfect fit for all of us. It was great distance to the beach. A couple of downsides was we picked a time where it was a little chilly and the pool couldn’t be heated. But that was our fault for not asking before but the kids still swam they didn’t care to much. Also the stove wouldn’t stay on it turned on and off while cooking so for us a big family and being there for 10 days it was a little tough but we made it work it didn’t effect us enough to not cook at home or to call and complain. We made it work and got through it.

Fenway Park

The property was in a great location as described. The rooms however were nasty. Kitchen counter was sticky and dirty. The beds were not property made, bathrooms were nasty with hair everywhere, The living room furniture was covered with cat or Dog hair. Mold in the ice maker and shower curtains and it smelled like rotten wood. When I called to complain the man that showed was rude and sarcastic so I sent him away and did it myself. For what we paid for this place we could have stayed somewhere a lot cheaper and it would have been nicer. We left it a lot cleaner than what we found it.

Vacation getaway

Overall the house was perfect. The size, amount of bedroom fit our family perfectly. There are definitely some things that could be improved. The beds in the middle upstairs bedrooms and in the downstairs bedrooms were awful. Super loud and very uncomfortable. We did have an issue with the downstairs bath not draining, but we just used the upstairs bathrooms. Not a big deal. Baby gates being provided would be ideal for families with babies and animals to keep them from the stairs. Both decks could use some TLC, many nails were popping out of the wood and could cause a serious accident. The amount of water bug roaches were insane, the yard and house definitely needs to be treated for the bugs. We had a great family vacation & We’re looking forward to next year !!

Great family rental

This house was a great fit for our family. Easy access to the beach. Nicely furnished, plenty of room, and the pool was great. I would suggest adding a can opener and a hand held mixer to the kitchen. Our only complaint was with the quality of the cleaning service. The downstairs bathroom was not clean and reeked of urine, there were hairs on some of the sheets and in the bathrooms, and sheets from the previous renters were left in the hall. We reported these concerns to the realty company - hopefully future renters won’t have these problems.

Fenway Park - Surfside Beach

We vacation in Myrtle Beach every year and we always rent a different house and this was the first time we loved where we stayed. The house was big enough for everyone, every bedroom was a good size and I loved that every bathroom had double sinks! We will definitely stay here again!

Great Space, Great Location

The house is located in a great spot with the beach right across the street and places to eat a short walk down the road. The property was also only minutes from other restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else you would need.

The McJohnson Vacation

We have the best friends from living in Wilmington, NC but had to move to Atlanta, GA. So we get both families (children & grandchildren) together and put McDonald and Johnson together for our summer trip together. We loved Surfside, so much to do and we were so close to restaurants, parks, the ocean and having a pool was a plus. We have already decided to go back there next year. Not to mention by sister lives in Murrell's Inlet so she could pop in to visit as well. The weather was perfect all week and everyone had a blast.

Comfortable home in a good location

The kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms were roomy. Nice neighborhood, very close to the beach. The only problem we had was that there wasn't enough living room/dining room space for 16 people.

On the positive- Perfect location, awesome that we had a very short walk to the beach. Able to fit 4 cars and a golf cart in garage space. The house has plenty of space for large group of people. Dishwasher works great. Convenient to grocery, shops, restaurants. On the negative- carpets need cleaned. Our bare feet were black just minutes after walking on it. Mattress in back room on 2nd floor by door needs replaced as it sinks on the left side. Stove and microwave could use updating. There was rust inside the microwave and it was not cleaned upon our arrival. Water filter in fridge needs replaced as water and ice tasted funny. Need better pest control. Found a few dead roaches in master bedroom. House could use some painting on porch areas and main entrance door which has a nasty looking black stain. The pool could use a solar cover for heating since its small and not heated. Beware and check your dog’s paws for grass stickers/sand burrs when walking in from outside. All in all, we had a great time during our stay!
