Loved our stay at Ash’s place! He was very easy to work with and accommodating. Open to working with us on late check out and anything else we needed during the stay. The house location is perfect with steps right to the beach. They even offer a very affordable massage service. Will stay here again

Perfect Getaway

We had a great weekend! Home is perfect to host family events! Arcade games, pool table, pool and beach access all in 1!!! We will def be coming back again!!! Everything was great. Thank you Ash you made are stay very comfortable!

Perfect Vacation Spot for Large Group of Friends

Great house, lots of fun surprises, great amount of space. House has a nice private end of the access with immediate access via the stairs. Tons of great interior details inside. Ash is incredibly friendly, accommodating and cares about your experience. Highly recommended.

Magical house in amazing location !

First the host is awesome. He wall with us on all details when we came. The location as shown in the pictures is priceless. The neighborhood is gated and feel very safe, the beach is GREAT, the house is well equipped with lots of stuff and games, massage chair (wow) full dishes, towels, etc. would defiantly come back soooooon !!! Thank you Ash !

Spectacular property and Great Location

The house is beautiful and the location perfect- gated community, beach on the property; an hour south of the border, less than two miles to a beach with horseback and ultralight riding, 45 minutes to wine country and less than thirty minutes to Puerto Nuevo. The owner, Ash, was immediately responsive to every request and he and his girlfriend cooked us two delicious dinners. The fire pit outside was great for the chilly evenings. The house has 4 great bedrooms and lots of great games and beach equipment. Would unequivocally recommend the property for anyone looking for a beautiful and convenient home in Baja to spend time with family and friends.

Birthday Getaway

I had an amazing time in Ash's home. The view of the beach was absolutely beautiful and the pool area was the perfect place to spend the day. We had everything we needed in the home from entertainment to comfort. Ash was also easy to reach if we needed anything. He also provided massages and cooked meals for a reasonable price. I would say the only two cons were there are no ubers in the area so you have to either have a designated driver or walk towards the restaurants near by to get picked up. Also I could have definitely used a couple more days to enjoy the entire home.

Trip of a lifetime

Ash is, without a doubt, the best host of any vacation rental I’ve ever experienced. I’m a frequent vacationer, and never before have I had such an accommodating, kind, and invested host before. And to top it off, his property is INCREDIBLE. No pictures can do justice to the privacy and magnificent views. The beach is completely empty, and the pool/jacuzzi have panoramic views of the water. This is the most bang for your buck you’re going to get! To top it all off, this is where I got ENGAGED!!! And it wouldn’t have happened without Ash’s help and patience. He went so above and beyond in ensuring our weekend was easily the most memorable and special of a lifetime. If this place is available, you’d be crazy not to book it!!!

Great guy's house get away

Ash was super responsive and the house itself is amazing for a guy's weekend. He has a lot of activities there at the house and the access to the beach was so cool! The house had nice beds in all rooms (I paid so I got the Master :)), but sometimes homes focus on the Master bedroom for beds and not every room. It was nice to hear/see that every bedroom had a great bed. The house itself is sort of cluttered and disorganized if I'm being critical of anything. There were a lot of things that I would have thought would have been hidden or stored elsewhere that my wife would have been more picky about, but for a guys weekend it wasn't a big deal. I wouldn't take him up on his offer for his girlfriend to do massages at the house. It was one of the weaker massages we've gotten and the one right down the street that overlooks the ocean is similar in price and they gave really great deep tissue and firm massages. Again, all in all, it was a great house if you're wanting to do guy activities and hang out!

The owner is lovely but the house is not. So much differed maintenance it’s hard to wrap my head around. If he’s not careful it might just fall down around him. Pictures are 2014 ish..not a representation of the property at all. My Mexican family even commented how it looked nothing like the photos….I really wanted to like it. But I just can’t. Only the ac downstairs worked. All the bedrooms were not working. it’s was a little beyond dirty. I dropped something and had to squeeze between the wall and dresser there was Tons of debris, old confetti. Gross. He kept saying it’s hard to maintain because of the saltwater. But there was a lot of water damage to ceilings and walls. Paint peeling, plaster bubbling I could go on and on.

Well there’s one thing I’ve learned over the nine years that I’ve rented this property. is you’re not going to make everybody happy. This property has a 9.8 out of 10 exceptional rating. well 9.6 now with your review. i’ve had 71 out of the 73 rate it at four or five stars mostly five stars. Although the house is not perfect literally being steps from the ocean is hard to keep it perfect this is not the suburbs we’re talking here. The majority of people find it a lot of fun and much better than the pictures as you will see stated in most reviews. It’s funny you don’t mention any things that you liked about the property that are not in the pictures, like all the video games, foosball table basketball 85 inch big screen 1700 watt Bluetooth speaker etc.

Christmas Vacation

Ash the owner was great with accommodations. The meal and the massage that was prepared was also wonderful. This was a great place to spend time with family of all ages, so many things to do for everyone inside the house. We will definitely come back.

Perfect Getaway

I went with a group of friends and we had an amazing time. I have stayed in the area a few times and this place had such a great mix of location, amenities, good waves, and safety. As most houses by the beach, there’s some wear and tear throughout the house, but other than that, everything is amazing. So much space, lots of arcade games to play, awesome backyard with pool and spa, and beach access with no one around. We had an amazing time and also used some of the house services, which were great as well! Would definitely recommend and come back to visit in the future.

Fun house & cool host

Ash was a great host & his property was a lot of fun for the first part of our stay (read below). The house is located is a gated community that wasn’t hard to find. Check in was easy & the host met us at the house to walk us through the entire property to show us the features & how to use things. There are endless things to do at the property such as a pool,spa,water toys,bbq’s, sound system, arcade games & even in house massage/cooking options. The house could use some basic maintence & organizing but didn’t really bother us during our stay. The very big issue we had during our stay was being swindled by the local police & forced into a cash bribe. We were in a taxi that was stopped by the local police & were searched, harassed & forced to pay over 500usd in cash to move on from the situation. Imagine being stuck at the police station late at night & forced to find a ATM on a sketchy street to get a friend out of jail for doing absolutely nothing wrong . If we didn’t pay up they were going to hold our friend for 36+ hours in jail. All guests of this house & others around need to be extremely careful as you can quickly become a victim to the corrupt local police & government. The situation unfortunately ruined our trip & our experience was not good overall. Anyways, I do thank Ash for being a good host & sharing his home to us. I do recommend this house if staying in the area but please don’t let your guard down when in the Baja region!

The situation you encountered was 15 miles away from the property in downtown Rosarito, leaving a night club at 3 AM.Unfortunately sometimes the Rosarito police will set up checkpoints, looking for drunk drivers and looking for Any alcohol in the vehicles. unfortunately you had one person with a drink in their hand and they took that opportunity to arrest that person. If you’re going to be coming home that late from the night club, it’s a good idea to not have any alcohol whether you’re driving or in a taxi because that’s what they’re looking for. If you didn’t have any alcohol in the vehicle that situation would not have happened, and it really has nothing to do with my property whatsoever, so I was surprised to see it in your review. of course coming to Mexico or anywhere else, even in the United States, you need to use caution when you’re coming home at 3 AM from drinking all night. good idea not to have any alcohol in the vehicle.

Amazing House and Host

Ash was so amazing on all levels! He not only coordinated our rides to and from the border, he accommodated everything we requested! From a wonderful chef/masseus to even helping us run drink errands and anything else needed! The house was equipped with every entertainment we could ask for! Amazing House Right On The Sand

The photos do not do this home justice... This home has more toys than anyone can think of. Surfboards, board games, pool table, hot tubs, arcade games, massive TVs, BBQ, full chef kitchen, and on top of that a view that's unforgettable. Ash (owner) is reliable and communicates extremely well. He was welcoming and showed us around the house and offered other services (taxi, chef, masseuse) if we needed them. The location is not only extremely safe but clean. It is located on the sand with a beautiful beach. It is 30 min from everything (Rosarito, Ensanada, and the wineries.) I am so glad we got to experience this home. We had a great time and definitely will be back in the future.

Loved our stay!

House was as advertised. We had 9 in our group and we had a great stay! Arcades were played alot! Location was pretty convenient to Puerto Nuevo and Rosarito. However, the house is in need of a lot of repairs due to saltwater damage (ex: the hand rail leading to the beach was rusted and the wood was splintered, rusted furniture and makeshift lighting fixtures with extension cords, exposed underwater pool lighting). Dishwasher was not working as well as the oven. Grills were difficult to use. Beds were comfortable though and overall cleanliness was good. Kitchen drawers and cabinets had a lot of junk that needs to be thrown out. We planned on cooking one night and while there were the basic necessities, you had to rifle through so much stuff to find what you need. But, it's perfect if you just plan on eating out the whole time. Lots of activities provided. Overall, our group really enjoyed our stay.!

Great beach access

We were a group of surfers from San Diego who just wanted to surf and cook in. The private beach access was great, and there was a big kitchen to cook in. And also an outdoor grill setup. Good spot for a low maintenance friends getaway.
