We stayed at this property for the long weekend and it delivered relaxation and smiles all around. It's a great location for sunbathing and the patio including the hot tub overlook beautiful sunsets.

Claudia was quick to assist and accommodate with any questions or needs. The house had anything you needed for cooking large meals and had a beautiful kitchen! We really enjoyed our 2 nights there. 4 stars for cleanliness only because the hot tub water was iffy but that also may have partially been from the rain water. The only downside of the location is how far it is from Rosarito but it’s close to the restaurant Encanto and Puerto Nuevo which was perfect for us. Waking up to the ocean made it all worth it- the view is absolutely amazing, and we loved having almost what felt like a private beach. We’ll be back to to this same house for more R & R in the future!

That jacuzzi....

This is not our first stay in the area, but none of them can beat that jacuzzi and living space. So many of the oceanfront gated communities are a bit on the public side due to the paseos right out front. Because this is on the quieter, smaller side of the Paseo Del Mar community, we had barely any foot traffic at all. Will definitely come back!

The home is aesthetically beautiful and in a great location close to the beach with a lovely rooftop seating area and a great primary shower. The house was also clean, which we appreciated.That said, we did run into quite a few issues that affected our stay. Several light bulbs were out in different rooms, some bathroom outlets didn’t work, the microwave door stuck, and the dishwasher was out of order. The hot tub wouldn’t heat up, the garage door didn’t work (which made taking out the trash difficult since guests are asked to bring it to the curb), and we arrived to find the front door unlocked which raised safety concerns.The photos of the interior also don’t quite match how the space is currently set up it’s still nice, just very different than pictured.Overall, the property has a lot of potential and some great features, but a few maintenance updates and clearer communication would make it a much better stay.

Quiksilver design camp

This place was fantastic, the perfect set up for our group of colleagues to get together for a creative camp. We could easily connect our laptops to the TV for presentations and it was a bonus to have a working printer at the house that we could connect to easily! With great surf out the front, perfect open plan layout and a beautiful view. would highly recommend. Only down point was that the jacuzzi didn't seam to be clean or functioning.

House with a VIEW!

The location and views in this home are incredible! The kitchen and hot tub and rooftop deck are the superstars. And the master bedroom! This place was wonderful! The dishwasher was out of order, bummer. But overall, great! And we would stay again. Communication with the manager during our stay was great! She was so helpful.

The best rental!

We had a group celebration over 3 days and this house over-delivered for everyone. The location, view, amenities and incredible house was perfect for us. It was quite and safe. Rooms were spacious. We cooked and also hired a cook. It was nice to have someone cook and clean up after! The only negative was that we had inter issues. But I’m sure the owners will figure it out soon. I highly recommend this house and would stay here again.

Gorgeous beach house with spectacular views!

If you love spectacular views of the ocean/coastline with beautiful sunsets from your patio and spacious roof top deck, this is the place for you. This modern beach house provides everything you need. Gorgeous decor and comfortable furnishings. The guard gated community made me feel safe and secure. The community has tennis courts, basketball courts, pool/spa with ocean view and a clubhouse. The nearby town has great restaurants, many with ocean views. My kids loved horseback riding at the Pretty Horse Rescue Ranch where they also have wine tasting. This particular property is situated next to the steps that lead directly to the beach. Perfect location for enjoying the surf and sand. Truly an amazing place to make memories with your family & friends!

Amazing!

The pictures are great but, they do not do it justice. The house is very clean and has every amenity you can imagine. They even have games like checkers and Jenga. Claudia was very responsive and easy to work with. Sra Irene made a nice breakfast for us. We had the beach all to ourselves over the Thanksgiving holiday and cannot wait to go back. TIP: Stop at the market in Rosarito to stock up before you get there. The selection of items is limited in town.

Beautiful house! Unbeatable location!!

The house is impressive and well decorated to give a feeling of comfort. The location is simply unbeatable. We didn’t feel like leaving. The best way to keep in touch with Claudia is text. On that, she is very responsive and communicative which helps a lot and makes you feel heard. She’s a fantastic customer interface. Kitchen has all the utensils needed to make your own food. House is clean. TVs have all the usual streaming services available , which is a nice touch. The best part is being able to walk out onto the seashore and just listen to the sea.

Stayed here for a long weekend, and it delivered on every level.Location: Right on the beach bluff. Ocean views from nearly every room. No sandy mess but still enjoy the sound and sight of the ocean. Vibe: Quiet, peaceful, not crowded. Great for a reset or romantic getaway.Cleanliness: Spotless inside and out. The property was well-maintained. No bugs, no weird smells, no clutter.Comfort: Beds were firm and comfortable. Plenty of space to relax indoors and outside.Amenities: Full kitchen, strong Wi-Fi, hot tub overlooking the ocean. Hammocks, lounge chairs, and even beach gear included.Service: Host was responsive and helpful. Easy check-in. Gave local tips for food and things to do.Nearby: Local restaurants and small markets with in a 5 min drive. Would I go back? Yes in a heartbeat! Ideal if you're looking to unplug and enjoy the ocean without the crowds.

Awesome Get-away in a Gorgeous Beach Front Home

I just returned from an AMAZING time away with some girlfriends. Claudia sure thought of everything in this beautiful beach front home! There are toys (video games, foosball, ping pong, boogie boards, oh my!), but also many, many areas for comfort and relaxing. We were spoiled with Irene's amazing cooking... definitely worth the splurge! Common menu items, but better than any restaurant that I've ever been to! Favorites: The ceviche is a must (I never thought I liked ceviche before Irene!), huevos rancheros, shrimp tacos, and chile verde. But to have all this beachfront in the comfort of your own space... priceless! We saw dolphins in the ocean, and the most beautiful sunsets! I really can't say enough about this home. It really is a special place!

Some good some bad

We had a semi good experience. First off when we got there, we were getting acquainted with the place. Come to find out, the jacuzzi didn’t work, the arcade games didn’t work, there was no table tennis, only an old pool table that was weathered and old, the speaker they offered wouldn’t keep a charge, a lot of defects to doors being not being level or broken, lots of minor defects. Also, as for cleanliness, it was mostly clean, however we found a lice of underwear that was left behind in a drawer from the bedroom with the bunk beds. After finding that made us think how deep cleaned is this place really. My biggest concern was that the jacuzzi didn’t work for most of our stay which was 3 nights..the jacuzzi was the whole reason we decided to books. We spoke to the property mananger and she seemed to try to get it fixed, unfortunately not quick enough. Did should have been addressed before we checked in. She did get it working the last night we were there, and did allow us to do a late check out the following day, but unfortunately I felt it ruined the stay and the memories we could have made. In conclusion, it is a nice place, the property owner is responsive to a degree, great views, nice neighborhood, just needs to update the posting to be more accurate to what is actually available. It also does need a bit more upkeep..

The property is just as nice as it looks in the photos. The ocean view is amazing and can be seen from inside in the living room. The property is easy to find and located in a gated community. The community was very quiet which was nice. Overall no complaints at all. I would stay here again.

Fabulous home!

Amazing views this is our second time staying here and we absolutely love this place. We had an incredible time! Two downsides, one was that we were charged for 4 towels that we had to lay down near the jacuzzi tub since our kids were slipping once exiting the jacuzzi due to the jets and water overflowing. Second was we were blamed and charged for a mirror that was broken upon our arrival, which we did report but per the host we should have reported immediately.

Family Getaway

We absolutely loved staying here. The home was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable and the view was amazing. My mother in law loved sitting outside reading and enjoying the view. My two youngest loved splashing in the hot tub and playing at the beach. My teenager staked out the rooftop deck as her personal hangout. My husband and I loved the view from our room, falling asleep to the sounds of the waves and walking up and down the beach. We had Irene Felix come and cook two dinners for us and her food was amazing! She was very personable and my brother in law joked about taking her home to cook for his family. We are looking for another opportunity to come back and stay again!

We were staying here to celebrate my mom’s retirement. When we arrived the fridge was broken and the dishwasher didn’t work. There was food and gum found in my sister’s and nephew’s rooms. The house is so beautiful, however not well maintained. Stains on furniture, holes in cushions etc. some bathroom faucets and showers didn’t work. The view was incredible and the house in general is really nice. There is a beach you can walk to, although it’s less of a beach and more of a rocky shore. Still pretty though!! The BEST part of our trip was the yoga and the meals prepared by Irene. Irene was wonderful and helped us work through as many of the issues as she could!

I was born in Hermosillo, Mexico. I have lived in Orange County, CA since I was 13 years old. My husband and I share a love for football (go Saints!!), the Ocean and the relax, "easy going" vibe of Mexico. It has always been our dream to build a beach house where we can eventually retire and well, we did it!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We looked up and down Baja for over a year. During the process, we had many over night stays all over Baja with no luck. We were very specific about what we wanted. A secluded beach, in a safe gated community with magnificent views of the ocean and sunsets. One day, I happened to come across a little bed and breakfast (no longer active) at Puerta Del Mar. We fell in love with it!! We were stunned by the location, views and vibe within the community. We immediately asked our realtor to look for ocean front homes in PDM with no luck. We booked a house for a whole month during the summer and it only made us more certain this was our home. After months and months of waiting, we finally came across a lot for sale and the rest is history :). We built our dream home from the ground up, in a beautiful gated community. Our house sits on a bluff which allows for the best ocean views and the sounds of the crashing waves ALL DAY LONG! We still a few years before we can retire...We so wish we could live here now!!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The location is perfect. It is close enough to the colorful Rosarito Town (within 20 Minutes) and only 45 minutes to wine country (we are wine lovers). We are 5 minutes away from the Sand dunes and 10 minutes south of Puerto Nuevo and the La Fonda area. There is also a horse rescue ranch within 10 minutes for horse back riding thru the mountains. Plus, the surfing here is superb!! I could look another year and I would not find a better location!!!
