1 month getaway

First off the place was perfect for what we needed. We needed a place that would sleep 2 couples and 1 single adult at same time and it was plenty enough room. 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on same floor worked just fine. The host was very easy to work with and contact at any time and always very helpfull in any issues or questions we had. We decided not to rent a vehicle during our stay and once we figured out other forms of transportation it was fine uber and taxis were always available with a little planing and patience. I will say you cant be in a hurry but the money savings was well worth the wait times . The swimming pool was awsome every afternoon we were usually the only ones there even though the small community has accessibility. The people in the community are very friendly and helpful too. It was perfectly located and we felt safe the whole time we were there 5 minutes from center of jaco and 10 minutes from los suenos and not any farther than 20 minutes from 5 beaches. We would definitely stay here again if we we have the chance .

Enjoyed

Two issues I had was the first time to check in at the gate it took longer and communication with guard was poor. Other issue is the grill needs to be replaced. Otherwise we enjoyed the stayed and thank you having us.

belle propriété,

Facile d'accès, le propriétaire ns as fournis 2 vélos ,par contre les accessoires de cuisines sont en mauvais états ils devraient être remplacé, la maison est confortable car elle est climatisé c'est indispensable pendant la saison sèche,le voisinage est agréables si vous arrivé de San José par autobus vous pouvez débarqué pratiquement à la porte,Pour un long séjour cette propriété est à recommandé.Noté qu'un petit restaurant avec en menu typique Costaricain est tout près à la gauche de l'entrée des condominiums. Bon voyage.

Not a good experience

It’s the first time I write a review of a property, I really don’t like to do it but this bad experience need to be shared with others . This house is not ready to be rented, upon our arrival we found the floors dirty , the kitchen with some burned things on the stove , the curtains full of a white powder like Gypson , used face masks on cabinets, the sheets of the beds with a bad smell like if they have not been washed before , so I had to put them on the washing machine, and the most terrible was the cockroaches on the kitchen and under the bed of one of the rooms . the owner arrived to give us the house instructions and soap for us (the bathrooms didn’t have) I showed him about the dirt and the bed sheets, his excuse was that the house was rented for one year and the people just left 5 days before we arrived, which is more than enough days to clean a house. after seeing the disaster of the house and that my complaints were true , instead of sending someone else to clean the house for us he offered me to cancel the reservation and give me the money back if I decided to leave the house in that moment , but being December 30th and having traveled 3 hours from San José with my 87 years old mother and my family it was impossible to find another place to stay which would charge us fairly. We had to stay and to try to clean and wash everything , also all the plates and glasses that we used because maybe the cockroaches were all over. We took care of the home as we are a family of values, and we left only 2 pans without washing because there was not enough dish soap in the kitchen . The house has a lot of potential but I really think that the owners need to take care of it a lot more before putting it on a prestigious website as this one and offer their home to visitors, really a shame.

There were a few things missing that I have seen at other places like full cooking utensils and bakeware but great value for a short stay.

A Green Oasis

We loved our month at villa #12. It is on the outskirts of Jaco so we were glad we rented a car so that we could go to the beach each day and enjoy some of the many activities in the area. The villa was clean, well equipped with lots of room for us and our family. We enjoyed the communal pool with its greenery and quiet setting away from the noise of the traffic on the highway. The owners were very helpful. They sent us a welcome email ahead of time with lots of suggestions about what to see in the area and responded quickly to several enquires we had. We would definitely come back another time.

Hot Winter vacation

We stayed here from Jan 18 to Mar 14, 2018-hot and dry every day! Four adults and four grandkids managed to fit in this three bedroom condo without too much problem. The master bedroom is quite roomy and the ensuite is nice, although it only has one vanity and not much counter space. The shower is great. All three bedrooms have their own aircon with individual controls. All the floors are concrete covered with tile, so don't drop things-they will break! The kitchen was well equipped, and we especially appreciated the ice dispenser on the fridge. We found the tap water to be fine, although you can buy bottled water and use the cooler in the condo. The washing machine got a workout from us and dries clothes quite well with a fast spin cycle. Usually, a couple hours on the clothesline in the backyard and the clothes were dry! There are flat screen TVs in every room, although we only used the one in the living room. There are quite a few channels, but only a few in the English language. The internet worked fine for us, both wifi and direct wired (I brought my own patch cables). I brought a magic jack which worked fine. Internet speed was about 5 Mbps. The condo was very quiet except for the construction of 3 new buildings that happened to be next door. They were almost complete when we left so should not be an issue for future tenants! The condo has an outside shower that was great for getting most of the sand off before heading inside. The common area and pool is a short walk down to the end of the lane. There is a picnic shelter and some playground equipment. We used the pool every day, sometimes a couple times, and almost always after we came back from the beach. The pool is a little odd with submerged shelves with sharp edges that are a bit of a safety concern. The main part is 5 feet deep and about 10 feet by 25 feet. We had it mostly to ourselves during the week, weekends were a little busier. Hacienda Verde is easily accessible off the main highway down the coast, between Herradura and Jaco. You could manage without a vehicle as many buses go right past the gate, but we enjoyed having the freedom that a vehicle provides. The beaches are at least 5 minutes drive away, depending where you go (we decided we liked the south end of Jaco the best, about 10 minutes away). We found the MaxiPali to have the best prices for groceries-it is only a couple minutes down the highway. The owner, Miryana (Mir for short), was always helpful and accomodating,

Mir was a great hostess! Great pool area!

House had everything we needed. Nice quiet area just on the edge of town. Our group had 8 people and everyone had a place to sleep. All bedrooms are upstairs with 2 full baths also on that level. Lower level has a bath just off the living room area. There is a car port with parking for two cars. Adequate air conditioners to keep the house very comfortable. Our little boys enjoyed the pool area and swing set. There is an on site care taker to help with any needs you may have that lives just a couple doors down.

Beautiful Condo Jaco

We stayed in Costa Rica at this property for 42 Days and enjoyed every minute. The condos are built two to a bldg, with private entrances and parking. This property was all that it was said to be, Three upstairs bedrooms all with individual A/C. There is a half bath downstairs and two bathrooms upstairs each with showers one of which is private for the Master Bedroom. All were comfortable but the one we used, the Master Bedroom had the most comfortable bed, I would bring it home if I could. The property is as pictured, with a good supply of linens, dishes, pots and pans utensils etc. There are TVs in each of the bedrooms, and a large screen one in the living room, all with cable. The home is equipped with WiFi which worked excellently. New large refrigerator, full size stove and a front loading washer made it great for bringing in supplies and home cooked meals. It was a short drive in either direction to a supermarket, gas station or places to eat. Staying here you should have a vehicle. The property is quiet and private and the gate is guarded 24/7 by friendly (non english speaking) guards. The pool is outstanding and well maintained and only a very short walk from the condo, it felt like our private pool since it was seldom used by any one else.The is a large iguana who lives somewhere on the roof of the sun room who we enjoyed watching every day, we named him Marvin after a waiter in town that we liked. Jaco is a lively busy place with great beaches, restaurants, night life and shops of all sorts. Dress is casual every where and the people are friendly. The owner responed quickly to any questions we had and was always gracious and helpful.

We had the best time everything was so close to Jaco where the night life was amazing! It was gated, the pool was amazing our family really enjoyed our stay. The house was super clean and brand new but most important updated. Again thank you so much the owners were so easy to deal with. We will see you guys next year. We highly recommend this house.
