Hello James , I happy you enjoyed our house, our neighbors and friends in Costa Rica. I have read your reviewed and your concern about not flushing the toilet paper in the toilet. I wanted to explain to you there is absolutely nothing wrong in my house regarding the toilet that is a rule in the whole country, this applies everywhere you go in Costa Rica, restaurants, hotels bars you need to deposit the toilet papers in the trash can please see and watch video . There is nothing broke or an issue with the toilet it is because the septic tanks and they systems in the country. Maritza thanks for the review unfortunately this information is inaccurate. You were mad since I refused to rented the house out of the VRBO so you could save some money in taxes, you expressed you desire of renting the house one more day but you didn’t want to pay the full amount. It’ll always do the right thing and tried to help you as our possibilities, you asked several times for an early check in which we sent emails, phone calls and text that we couldn’t do that, but we do offer you to stay late, also you showed you were upset since you requested an wanted extra day for half of price and we couldn’t do that either in peak time of the year. In summary the house was clean & ready for the guests, if your complain is because we couldn’t provide those accommodations in half price, an early checkin at no cost and material for your “carne asada” this is what should go in the review. Remember that you should comply with property rules by not having guests that were not included in the reservation, the security send us the pictures and we had to call you.
