** En 2019, la piscina permanecerá cerrada del 9 de septiembre al 16 de septiembre. Cada año, la piscina permanecerá cerrada por una semana, a partir del segundo lunes del mes.

Los diseños modernos y muebles contemporáneos complementan este condominio completamente remodelado. Esta unidad también cuenta con espectaculares vistas frente al mar desde la planta superior en el Sugar Beach Resort! La cocina bellamente remodelado está abierta a la sala de estar perfectamente equipadas, que luego sale a la terraza. El dormitorio tiene una cama king size y la sala de estar tiene un sofá cama, lo que permite esta unidad para alojar hasta cuatro (4) personas. Sugar Beach

Excellent location, very clean, well decorated, comfortable bed, and easy check in and check out. The condo was well equipped with supplies and the management staff was very attentive. I have stayed in this unit before with my wife. She passed away two years ago. I felt at ease returning and staying here and would definitely plan to stay here again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great Other than our unit. unit 618 cleaning company needs to start using scent free detergent. Or Febreez scent spray. It was so strong you could taste it!!! Most people are allergic to scented products. The unit could have been cleaner.

March 2023 Stay

The Property was Awesome. The unit Ok! Did not see the wall next to the Lanai in the pictures we looked at. So we could not see the sunsets. The cleaners of this condo need to stop using heavy scented cleaning solutions and Laundry soap. So strong you could taste it!! So many people are sensitive to scents or allergic they should be using scent free products. It could have been cleaner. The Decor was nice and updated.

Reviewer Comments: There were a few things that needed a change.There are no hooks or rods to hold hand towels by bathroom sink.The carpet in the living room needs to go.We found the couch uncomfortable.We had cockroaches in the kitchen, but a very nice fellow brought traps right away.Something you can’t do anything about is the wall blocking the view to the west.We did appreciate being able to phone Canada...there was an emergency with our dog, and we had to call the vet.

A Perfect Getaway!

The complex is located on a secluded stretch of beach in a relatively sleepy area of Kihei and is perfect for a quiet relaxing Hawaiian getaway. This was our second stay at Sugar Beach. Our first stay was many years ago on our honeymoon but I must say that the complex has been very well maintained during that time and has aged well. Unit 618 is on the top floor and features a spectacular view of Maalaea Bay. The unit was just as described and was immaculately clean when we arrived. The unit was stocked with a starter supply of coffee, paper towels, laundry pods and other basic necessities. The management company contacted me several times during our stay just to check in and make sure that everything was going as we expected. We did have a problem with the internet during our stay. I contacted the management company and after the over the phone troubleshooting failed to resolve the issue, they sent someone out to fix the problem the same day. I can't say enough about the management company. They were very attentive, polite, professional, responsive, and were a pleasure to do business with. There is a sandwich shop on the premises which stays open until 10:30pm should you need a late bite and don't feel like driving. Also, if you're looking for a good place for breakfast, you must try the Kihei Café, just a short drive down South Kihei road. Overall a great vacation. We can't wait to return. If you're like me, you read these reviews to help in the decision making process. Well my advice here is to stop reading and start booking! Aloha!

Beautifully done bedroom with new sliding doors that are much better than the original ones. As always true at Sugar Beach the views from the lanai are simply the best. I did wish the unit had a disposal and a table.

Awesome!!!

Beautiful condo! I've been to Maui four times now, and this is now my favorite new place to stay. The location is convenient to everything, yet felt very quiet and private. This condo was perfect! It's beautifully remodeled and decorated and quickly became our home away from home. If I were to be picky, the only thing that missing was a couple of beach chairs.

Clean comfortable quiet

We stayed in PH18 for a week at the end of April. The condo is exactly as pictured. Beautiful ocean front views off the lanai. Quiet beach with soft sand perfect for walks. Close drive to Kihei. Would definitely come to stay again.

Beautiful unit and views

Beautiful remodeled unit and gorgeous views of the ocean. Location is great if you are looking for some privacy. Ideal size for a couple. Everything (appliances, A/C, etc..) worked perfectly. We had only 2 little issues --- WiFi info provided did not work (that was resolved quickly). Some dishes were a little dirty? We cleaned what we needed --- that was no big deal. This is why the 4 stars as opposed the 5 stars. Overall we loved the unit, its location, views and everything. The last bad part is that we had to leave. Would come back in a minute.

See whales breach from the lanai

Sugar Beach Resort #618 was exactly as shown in the photos - modern, clean and bright. A/C and all appliances were functional. The view of the beach, palm trees and ocean from the lanai was lovely. From the lanai huge splashes in the distance alerted us to whale activity, whereupon I reached for our binoculars and focused clearly on whales breaching and doing head lunges. Our favorite activity was the morning walks along the miles of uncrowded beach fronting the resort. Another highlight was rowing out into the ocean and spotting whales with the canoe club, which is a few minutes walk down the beach and welcomes visitors to join them for a small fee. Sugar Beach Resort's central location a few minutes north of Kihei is ideal. Towns and beaches to the south and to the northwest are just a short drive away.
