Lovely apartment, clean comfortable, nice balconies. Very central to centre of Playa del Carmen. Excellent communication with host, respond straight away to any problems. Large comfortable beds. The only slight issue was the hot water was a bit hit and miss.

Great location with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, bus station and taxi's also within walking distance. We did not have a car but there was parking. Centrally located between most of the excursions condo was clean and comfortable.

Playa del Carmen

Amazingly quiet when all doors and windows are closed. That's such a blessing because it's very noisy outdoors, especially in the evenings. Location is superb. We can walk to everything when we wanted to and taxis are readily available. We felt very safe in the neighborhood.

Even nicer than I expected.

Love the size and layout of the condo. The beds were very good and provided an excellent night of sleep. Great located and tons of great restaurants everywhere. The only drawback is the beach is starting to get thin in certain areas near by.

Excellent!

Beautiful apartment in excellent location, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. First class bakery just around the corner. A second set of keys would be very helpful. It’s tricky to find the first time, in the dark. But otherwise highly recommended.

Playa Retreat and Business

Property was as advertised. Was a welcoming retreat location. Having supplies for one pot of coffee would be great. The check in could be made more efficient,the instructions say white building, it’s yellow. Says lock says Stella, Stella is no where on the lock. I have photo I can send. Our pick up ride was late. Thankful the rental representatives answered my message quickly. Extra blessing two employees were on site to assist us, they too had problems with the lock.

FANTASTIC PLACE IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN!!

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. This place was perfect for the 3 of us, but could have easily housed more. The decor is fun and inviting. AC was nice and cool. While we didnt use much of the kitchen it is fully stocked. The place is much bigger than in the photos with super tall ceilings. I appreciated how there is a locked gate to the property as well as you are able to use a parking space behind the locked gate as well. There is also a keyed safe thats built into the wall to safely store your passports etc5th Avenue is sooo close as well as the beach. It was nice to be off the main 5th street as that is busy and noisy til late. The condo was quiet and peaceful and I felt was located in a safe area. There are actually 3 balconies, one off the living room, and one off each of the two bedrooms. It was so nice to sit outside and listen to the birds.Beds were comfortable and it was nice having two bathrooms. While we didnt use them, we saw there was snorkeling gear, life vests, beach chairs and two bikes in the utility closet along with beach towels.Be prepared to pay a separate site for your stay, outside of VRBO. it's through angel host. Its easy to do so though and I had zero issues.If you're looking for a good food recommend - check out "El Hongo" we went there twice because we loved it so much. Their hot cakes for real are to die for!We will definitely stay here again in the future and highly recommend this place!!

Great Place, once located

This charming apartment is well located, just as described in the listing. A hint for travelers, the building name is "Flores de ..." and "Girasol" is the name of the apartment. The building name is near impossible to see from street level. This is important because neither Google or Apple Maps accurately located the location. I walked or drive in front of the building 4-6 times before locating the building. Communications was a bit confusing as the host was Angel, the rep for securing payment and helping with directions was from a group called "Stella". This may be a Mexico-wide complication, but the payment process required a verification process beyond VRBO KYC validation. (Mayhaps I failed to press a save button or something?) I thought I paid up front; but, had to pay during my long arrival/check-in process via a WhatApp call. I had assume and trust that I was not paying twice before I could get arrival instructions. The last support element that pushed my overall review to a 4, was that little effort was made to check for my passport. The next guest found it where I asked the host to have the cleaner look, the laundry. The guest was very gracious about my knock on the door. They decided to wait to see if I would return looking for it. As a VRBO host, I would have pursued looking for a passport with due urgency. In summary, great place and location. Hosting had a very polite but corporate feel.

The host was the most responsive I have had in all of my rental experiences. Host responded so quickly to my MANY questions before the trip and during our stay. Our sink backed up and within minutes, host was contacting maintenance and the issue was resolved within hours. The location is central, secure, and fun. I would definitely stay there again when in PDC.
