Very clean stay & quite beach

Very nice place to stay for a family vacation with a old Florida vide. If you're wanting a night of nightlife, sarasota and siesta key is only 30 minute drive. The restaurants were all family friendly and easy access to everything. Heavy police presence in the area so we always felt safe. The room was very clean and the view was incredible. Highly recommend!!

Sand Cay 204

First night not good. Shower drain in one of the bathrooms was clogged. Even worse, we had no tv, phone, or internet access! Office was closed. Called the following morning and maintenance fixed everything. No light bulb in hall socket either.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came here for Christmas vacation with my adult kids and their spouses. We enjoyed the view and the location to the beach. You cant get any better. We wouldve loved for the pool to be closer to the beach.The cons were the bedding was very outdated and needs to be replaced. Would've loved more bath towels as we only had 4. I had to run the dishes through the dishwasher as they had food on them. Furniture had some stains on them. I did speak to the manager about all of this. She apologized and they are working on fixing all this. Very spacious condo .

Everything you need for your stay is provided: free laundry facilities, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and also toys for the beach as well as items for other activities. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! The resort is well cared for and has a nice vibe. Grocery stores and restaurants are easy to get to from the resort. Our unit had everything we needed to prepare food when we wanted to. The unit itself was in good, not great condition and slightly dated, but the view was spectacular. The A/C, thankfully, worked really well to keep us cool! The beach is an absolute GEM, truly paradise!

Beautiful Condo!

We try to get to LBK once a year and this year did not disappoint!!! The condo was spacious, well kept and quiet. Perfect location for a weekend getaway. Will definitely visit again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent the weekend in unit 204 and it was the perfect set up for a relaxing weekend with family. The unit was comfortable, clean, and the view was perfect. Not too fancy and just what we were after. We played cards in the living room with a view of the gulf; sat on the porch to watch dolphins swim by; cooked great meals in the modest but well appointed kitchen; and had an easy time heading to the beach for walks and lounging. Staff at front desk were very welcoming and helpful. Got the sense that this is a place that people come back to time and again. We will!

Best view so far but unit needed renovations

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Out of all 3 of our stays now this unit had the best view. But the unit itself was the worst inside. The air conditioner unit needed to be flushed when we arrived. The whole week it could not keep up. It ran at 74-76 the whole timeNo matter what it was set to. The wifi had issues. Around 10:00 every night it seemed to go out. Maintenance was replacing it the day we were leaving. The inside was old. Water damaged that had been caulked too much. Kitchen needed to total remodel. Even a fresh paint job could help. Appliances old. Fridge and freezer stayed just cold enough but everything in fridge was just barely cold. The unit was clean it wasn’t dirty at all. It just really needs some love and a good remodel. I recommend sand cay highly but I wouldn’t Recommend this unit or stay at this one again.

Rental needs to be updated, BADLY!

While the view is fantastic, the rental has a lot to be desired. The staff and ground crew do an impeccable job keeping the grounds clean. However, the inside was not good. Nothing on the cleaning people really, I mean what can they do with things like this:. Musty smell, moldy showers, old toilet seat with wear marks, cabinets that don't close, leaks in the ceiling dripping down walls and floors, old mismatched dishes, rusty light fixtures, lights with bulbs out and non matching colors. I mean the public bathroom at the Anna Maria pier was cleaner! Totally feel like I was mislead, over paid.

Family Vacation stay

Location of property right on the beach! Enjoyed that the property wasn’t by touristy area but a short 5-15 minute drive from shops and restaurants. Overall a great stay. My only recommendation would be to update the interior. Specifically the leather/vinyl coach peeling. Other than that, enjoyed everything!!

Girls Get Away

Great spot for a short girls' trip. The condo was great for 4 adults. There was a broken chair on the balcony so we weren't able to all sit and enjoy the sunrise or sunset together sitting however it didn't ruin the trip. We would have liked additional entry carpets to help with the sand but other than those small things everything was great.
