Hermosa casa adosada de tres niveles a solo unos pasos del agua. Subdivisión privada en una excelente ubicación en el lago; ¡Agua profunda, clara y prístina! Uso de muelle flotante. Esta encantadora casa puede alojar hasta 6 personas. Dos habitaciones en el nivel superior con baño completo. El dormitorio principal tiene terraza privada con vistas a la cala. Cuenta con 4 televisores. El sótano está amueblado con una cama queen, además de un sofá cama queen size y baño completo. Lavadora y secadora de tamaño completo. El nivel principal es fantástico para el entretenimiento. Un sofá cama queen size también está disponible. Dos controles deslizantes se abren en la cubierta. El comedor tiene capacidad para 6.

Lovely lakefront getaway

Shangri-la was a pleasant place for our last minute weekend at the lake. The location—easy access to a marina and the state park—can’t be beat.

Our family had a great stay. Home was immaculate upon arrival!

Perfect home for family and perfect sunsets. Furnishings are up to date and in great condition. Location- Location- Location! Friendly neighbors and great outdoor space with dock and Cove. Owners were just terrific and very responsive. Highly recommend in every way!

Quiet and easy

This was our first experience using VRBO and it did not disappoint. Caroline was always friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. The keypad entry was a breeze and the access to swimming/fishing from the dock was so convenient. The added bonus was sitting on the relaxing conversation set on the balcony and seeing FOUR "shooting stars" one night. We found the firm king size master bed mattress to be very comfortable! Mitchell's Marina was super close with pizza, ice cream, and amazing staff. Be aware, most things nearby are closed on Tuesday.

nice spacious townhouse

We enjoyed how spacious this place was, giving us plenty of room to spread out. Clean and comfy and although its 3 levels, the top floor was nice and cool at night.

Fantastic time, location and boat slip KEY

This was a picture perfect stay at SML. The property could not have been more conveniently located, and having a slip for our sailboat was key. The townhome was clean, modern, and very comfortable. We were caught off guard that linens and towels weren't included, but that was our fault, not the owner's. We absolutely loved being able to walk out to the dock and sail multiple times a day. Having access to the kayak was also awesome. Great place.

Lake Life

We loved the lake! Our 6 year old daughter had a blast swimming in the cove while mom and dad got some sun on the dock and took turns diving in to cool off. Conveniently located next to Mitchell’s Marina who had the best prices on boat rentals and gas along with a great restaurant with a view of the sunset. The views, the air conditioning, the laundry, the kitchen, bathrooms, and the internet and televisions all worked perfectly! They even had on demand with tons of family friendly free movies. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Quiet and relaxing! Exactly as I expected

The property is in a great location if you want privacy and quiet time, and is what we were looking for. It was exactly as expected in the details of the property. Follow all directions that are sent to you when given by the owner and you won’t miss anything major. The downstairs stayed a lot cooler than the upstairs. The upstairs was probably 10 degrees warmer with whatever temperature you set the AC on. Just used extra blankets downstairs than we did upstairs. I would definitely go back again. The owner was helpful and would text or email back when needed.

Lakefront Serenity

My family had a wonderful long weekend at SML, and we HIGHLY recommend Shangri-La! The home is clean, welcoming, and modern with loads of space and a stunning view of the lake. In shopping around, I found the rental rate extremely reasonable. We had 4 adults and 2 toddlers, and we did not feel cramped in the least. Caroline, the owner, was extremely responsive to my many questions and promptly returned our deposit. We rented a pontoon from Mitchell's Marina, which is close to the home (5 min dock-to-dock, in the boat), and had the most amazing day puttering around SML. If you are looking to rent a boat, Mitchell's is THE place to do it! Friendly, professional, great customer service and a tasty restaurant to boot! Only 2 things I would note, and neither would necessarily be considered a negative, just good things to know: (1) There's no internet. If the weather's nice, no big deal, but on the chance of rain, you may want to pack some extra entertainment if you have kids. The tv does have full cable. (2) It's a bit of a drive (maybe 20-30 min?) if you want to head into a town to get groceries/find entertainment. Again, the remoteness is probably what most people are looking for, I add this only for information purposes only. There are a couple small convenience stations within 10-15 minutes. My family loved our stay at the Shangri-La!!

Beautiful view, Wonderful home!

We had an amazing time at Smith Mountain Lake and at this home. We had 5 adults and one child and this home was the perfect size! We loved the views and the location was really easy to find when were out boating. The house had everything we needed and was clean and well maintained. We would love to come back in the future.

Beautiful townhome situated for spectacular sunsets!!

I was initially hesitant about renting a townhome versus a single-family home but we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The home is beautiful with every amenity that you could want. It was very cozy, everything was sparkling clean! The icing on the cake was the situation of the home for sunsets. I was dozing in one of the recliners and actually woken up by the entire room turning bright orange!!! By far the best sunset we have ever seen and it lasted about 45 minutes! Amazing! The owner was very accommodating and if I had a question I received a response nearly immediately. I would absolutely rent Shangri La again and have already recommended it to many friends.

Very Comfortable

The Townhouse is very comfortable and convenient. Close to Marina and the lake is out your back door. It very nicely equipped with furniture and kitchen items. We had a great time.

Great Condo!

My family enjoyed a great stay at SML! The condo location was perfect. The cove was super easy to boat in and out of, as well as, paddle boarding and swimming. The condo had everything we needed! Would highly recommend it and plan to visit again!

The inside was way better than the pictures. Everything was new and clean. The view was breathtaking

We had so much fun. It was peaceful and quiet. We rented a pontoon boat and fished and swam. You could do that right off the dock at the house as well, which we did also. The only down side about Virginia in general is, there were no good restaurants nearby except for one Mexican place. If you are looking for a fast pace vacation this is not it. This was bonding time with my family. Great time. Thank you so much for your beautiful home.

My husband and I reside in the Northern Virginia area. We have three children. My husband has lived in Virginia all his life. I was a military child and moved every 2-3 years. We love SML (Smith Mountain Lake) for its beauty of blue water and scenic mountains. My children love when the ice cream boat visits. We have built many memories here.

This townhouse is located on a quiet cove perfect for swimming and fishing. Close proximity to the dam. Three levels of comfort provide privacy and space. It is away from the busy part of the lake. Mitchell's Marina is in walking distance and is the perfect place to see the the sunset and enjoy a cocktail. The marina also rents out pontoon boats, as well as tubes and Kayaks.
