Se ha invertido mucho amor y cuidado en esta adorable cabaña de madera de dos habitaciones. Al pisar el porche cubierto, se sentirá como en casa. En el interior, la gran sala, una chimenea de la tienda apilada se sienta en una pared de troncos y crea visiones de noches nevadas acurrucadas junto al fuego. Si necesita ponerse al día con su programa favorito o ver un juego, hay un televisor de pantalla plana en la sala de estar con un sofá, un sillón y un sillón reclinable. ¿Hambriento? La cocina totalmente equipada está a solo unos pasos con una mesa para comer o continúa hacia la terraza para un picnic al aire libre. También hay una gran bañera de hidromasaje en la cubierta para sumergirse bajo las estrellas. Terminando el nivel principal hay dos dormitorios, uno con un rey, el otro con una reina, que comparten un baño con ducha.


¡La diversión comienza abajo! Otro baño completo espera al amante de la bañera con una bañera antigua con patas con garras, completa con una lámpara de araña de cristal en el techo. ¡Si no puedes encontrar a mamá, aquí es donde estará! Amazing view & comfy stay

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and the house had everything we could ask for. We hope to take another trip soon!

Peaceful stay

This place was very clean and quiet. I enjoyed the stay. The second bedroom could use a new mattress but that is the only thing I could possibly say that was not wonderful.

We loved this cabin!

The cabin was very clean and the decor was really nice. The road going up to the cabin was scary.....but we were in the mountains! The only thing I would do is put a tv in the master bedroom. I highly recommend this cabin! We really enjoyed our stay!

Heaven on Earth

It was an exciting adventure climbing up the mountain and finding our "home" each time we arrived. The space was beautiful, SUPER clean and comfy. The view was breathtaking! There will always be a special place in my heart for Bare's End. Jacuzzi at night under the stars was very memorable, location was spot on, there was even a book detailing trails, restaurants, things to do, and local information. What was very special also to me, were the little touches throughout the space. A lighted bear candle in the bedroom, kitty cat door stopper, sweet photos of bears and an older couple holding hands, our little gift bag when we entered placed on the kitchen counter, fireplace, and the beautiful natural light when we very special. I will NEVER forget our experience and hope to return and would not stay anywhere else. THANK YOU!!!

Nice Cabin, but lacks privacy!

This is a very nice and tidy cabin. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It is perfect for a small family. However, they are building on both sides of this house.. We do not blame the owner for the construction. This is happening all around Gatlinburg after the wildfires. However, the houses are VERY close together. That being said there is no kind of privacy wall on either side of this cabin. So if you want to enjoy the hot tub, you will enjoy the view of the workers (for now) and your neighbors after that. It is also worth mentioning that the deck is not covered at all. The sun just beats down on you. There is a table outside but no umbrella. The hot tub is nice and works well. Also, don't expect much from the "game room." There is one air hockey table (seems to be on it's last leg). That is it. Nothing else at all. Not a deck of cards, not a board game, absolutely nothing. That being said, my husband and I rent 2-3 cabins a year in Gatlinburg and this was the first one we stayed at that was really lacking in the "game room" department. Lastly, this cabin needs a full-length mirror somewhere! I mean a mom and a teenage daughter like to see how they look before going out on the town. Every time we got ready to go out we had to take a dining room chair into the bathroom to try to get a "semi" view of ourselves. It was such a pain in the butt. The cabin was still nice overall, but we just wish it would have been a little more for what we paid!

The furniture was comfortable, the bed as well. Everything that we needed was provided and functioned well. The hot tub was amazing! Lot's of rebuilding in the area, so there's quite a few contractors roaming about and can be a bit noisy. We never have a bad stay with Mountain Laurel Chalets. I highly recommend using them.

Don't let the front fool you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This chalet is beautiful! Just enough space. The pictures do not serve it justice! New developments coming in around it.. the view was awesome... I think this set-up was one of the safest for those that may be traveling alone, girls trips etc. The back deck off the kitchen is enclosed and no one can access it from the driveway or front door-which is where the grill and jacuzzi are placed; easier to enjoy it on late nights without fear of bears/people scrolling around the bend of a chalet. Had some problems with the electric gas grill but we finally got it going-may need to be replaced as it appears someone damaged it or its life is on its last burner.

Yes! Bare's end is the perfect location for a nice family getaway, or just a weekend getaway with friends! One of our favorite features of the house is also the enclosed deck where you can safely enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains below, or relax in the hot tub. Amazing views from a well-maintained cabin

The cabin was perfect!! Everything was very clean. Management was easy to get ahold of. Map and lock pad instructions were easy to understand. The downstairs area was perfect for the kids. We got a lot of use out of the hot tub outside and the air hockey table downstairs. The Mountain Views were spectacular. Definitely will recommend for our wedding guests this upcoming summer.

Driveway and parking are ample, but if you pull in you will most likely have to back out to the road (which was easy to do). Parking is fairly level and great for unloading and loading.As always, Mountain Laurel provided a clean and comfortable chalet/cabin, with great customer service. We have been renting from Mountain Laurel for over 30 years and have never been disappointed with their service.Looking forward to our next visit!!

Winter Stay in the Smokies 2022

Loved the wood burning fireplace, we had a fire every night during our stay. Tough to be criticalof this place, once you are there, it's hard to leave. I'm sure we will stay there again!!!!

Mountain Laurel offer the best chalets around but if your looking for something cozy, Bares End is what you need.

It was conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, if you don’t mind traveling up and down the winding mountain road. The view would be better in the spring or summer. It’s a great place to stay for a couple or a small family.

cabin location

Your websit description of the property is not accurate you are not just 5 mins from Gatlinburge from the cabin, you have poor wind draft in the cabin. The owners need to provide high chair for infants and toddlers parents should not have to carry that with them. The cabin was clean nice just did not like the location and the drive way after asking was it level and stated yes, it is not. and 3 miles from gatlinburge that is not 5mins mountain laurel office is 5 mins away.

I know there are several comments regarding the driveway but we had no problem. Glad we didn't let that deter us. My only comment on this, and several other chalets we have stayed at, is the owners need to add hooks to hang clothes on and more towel racks in the bathrooms.

We had an issue with the DVD player, but mountain Laurel chalets were very responsive and helped resolve it. New batteries are needed in the master bedroom closet light & the downstairs DVD player is old & won’t load/run. Except those minor issues our vacation was excellent. Look forward to another visit in the future
