Best place ever

I have been coming down to Sanibel for years now and this condo is the best so far!! I love the location. The condo is bright and airy. It has a full washer and dryer not those little stackables that other condos have. I have already booked this condo for next year.

Wonderful week in Sanibel

We enjoyed this well appointed and beautifully maintained condominium for our week on wonderful Sanibel. The condo has everything one might need including a wagon for beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. The washer and dryer were a big bonus. We rented bikes for the week which is always fun and took many walks on the beach which was just a short walk down the boardwalk.

Clean, updated condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Sanibel Surfside. The condo is well appointed and very clean. The only issue with the unit is the master bath door. It is a pocket door that is sticky and squeaky. (Not a huge deal unless you don't want to wake up your partner in the middle of the night). My only other suggestion would be to replace the porch furniture with a love seat or additional outdoor furniture. That's just a personal preference, since we did not need the additional 'eat in' space. We rented bikes from the management company. My bike was not up to par, so it was replaced promptly. Overall, I would definitely recommend the condo for a small group (3-4 people).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our stay was ok. The unit itself is very nice, however there were a few issues. First, the king mattress needs to be replaced. Body impressions were very deep, it was uncomfortable. Second, the linens on beds were bad. The fitted sheets on the beds especially, were just unacceptable. They were so stained, we did not sleep on them! There was a huge yellow stain in the middle of the one on our king bed, among other questionable stains. We kept our flat sheet over it, and slept on that. Also, for the second half of our stay, there was construction happening in the unit right above ours. The drilling, and banging was so loud, it was difficult to be in our condo from 8am to 5pm. The apartment itself is very nice thought, besides the tired bathrooms. Lots of light, and spacious. But we do not feel like we got our money's worth.

HI Nataliya, we are so glad that you enjoyed your time on Sanibel. We always encourage our guests to contact us about things like cleanliness and noise disruptions from other units. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of the remodel and construction from the unit you are referring to, otherwise, we would've absolutely let you know before you arrived. We never want our guests to be inconvenienced or disrupted without notifying them first. As for the mattress, they are very subjective and we have not had any other complaints from guests about the mattress but we will note it and pay attention to see if we get more complaints about it moving forward. As for the yellow stain, I am very sorry. That is something that was overlooked by the cleaners and then obviously our inspectors. We have already addressed this with the housekeeping company to ensure it doesn't happen again. Had we been notified about the stain during your stay, we would have been more than happy to come over and correct this issue. . Otherwise, we are very happy you enjoyed your stay despite the few items you mentioned above and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

Beautiful Condo, Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Sanibel Surfside 224! It looked exactly like it did in the pictures and was spotless when we checked in. You have to go to SBL's office to pick up the keys (and drop them off when you leave) but the office is easy to find with Google Maps. Go to your right when you pull into the parking lot (it's in a little strip mall) and you'll see the SBL on the doors. Walked in, gave them my last name, and they handed me a packet with the keys and some brochures. The only thing I didn't see/know was how to get to the condo so I had to ask as instructions on getting to the condo weren't given. Like I said, it may have been on the packet but, if so, I didn't see it. The condo does have an ocean view and we had coffee on the enclosed balcony every morning watching the sky lighten up over the water. It was amazing! Beds were comfortable and every appliance/kitchen gadget you will probably need is there. There aren't any spices, condiments, etc., so if you're planning on cooking, you will need to bring or buy everything. We weren't planning on cooking so it didn't bother us. It's a short walk to the beach and, in our opinion, the best shelling on the island was there (better than Lighthouse and Bowman at least while we were there, didn't make it to Blind Pass). Turn left and walk down past the next set of condos - we found welks, olives, augers, Scotch bonnets,LOTS of Atlantic giant cockles, fighting conch, tulips, and more. Absolutely fabulous stay - great way to celebrate turning 60!

Homey and clean with beach access

Property was comfortable and clean with beach and pool access on site. Covered parking was a plus with access to beach gear also. Bike rental through SBL Outfitters was super convenient with delivery before our arrival. Nearby resorts have open access to tiki bars and restaurants either from a walk on the beach or a short drive.

Sanibel Surfside 224

The condo was probably the nicest we’ve stayed in when visiting Sanibel. It was very quiet and well appointed - wonderful kitchen accessories. There is an ocean view although not right on the beach. Thought furniture could have been arranged better to take advantage of the lanai but otherwise great!

Sanibel addicts 🏖

This was our 25th visit to Sanibel. We have stayed just about EVERYWHERE at this point. We were here when the Island Cow was the Captains Table and we needed high chairs. 23 and 25 year old monsters now and still pick Sanibel every time. LOVED this unit and working with SBL. Would definitely consider it again.
