Perfect location for visiting the park. Maryann was a great communicator. Had everything we needed for our 2 day stay. Pool table was fun for hanging out after a long day in the park. Highly recommend.

We got in without any issues. We were about 20-30 minutes to Crater Lake. There isn’t much in the area. But we were there for the hiking and was looking for location as our first choice. There is a convenience store down the street. It’s attached to a Motel. We didn’t go in, they opened at noon. The beds are comfortable. We could have used a night stand in the room with the twin beds. We anticipated bringing food with us so we stopped to purchase food on our way. The stove and microwave worked fine.There was a note that the water was hard and to use the filtered water provided. Which was appreciated.The Fridge and bathroom are a step down from the kitchen. This is on the other side of the house from the bedrooms. We ended up leaving on a light over the sink and inside the bath. The bathroom also has a step up to the sink/toilet. We learned fast to be careful! I moved the rug so that it ran across the top of the step to give us more of a visual. The host Mary Anne was prompt in responses. We didn’t have cell coverage so the majority of our cell phone usage was either at the lodge or the house rental. So our communication was when we had WiFi. There was some minor stuff that I mentioned to her to deal with after we left.

Amazing place and amazing host

What a great place to stay and close to Crater Lake. Super easy checkin, great communications from the host, checked to make sure everything was good and had a great conversation. Great location, loved the pool table, would stay here again!

Communication with Mary Anna was excellent and the check-in process was smooth. The main bedroom had a comfortable bed, but the twin beds leave a lot to be desired. The location was great, very close to Crater Lake. The main concern we had is the layout of the house. If you have small children who aren't great at walking yet, visibility or mobility issues, this is not the house for you. We are all in good shape and have none of that, but ALL of us wiped out on the second step at one point going in and out of the bathroom, and we also all cracked our feet on the brick riser in the middle of the main room holding the stove (one friend broke his toe and had to tape it the rest of the trip). The last morning we also found a mouse in an empty backpack cooler. We realize we are out in the country, but that was the case everywhere else we stayed, and there were no mice in any of the other locations.

Closest place to Crater Lake NP south entrance to stay, other than staying inside the park. Clean, comfortable beds, A/C, drip coffee maker, ceiling fans and full kitchen. Everything you need for a great Crater Lake visit. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Property was as advertised, well stocked kitchen, clean and comfortable spaces, peaceful, and a short drive to Crater Lake. My only comment is that the water pressure in the shower and kitchen sink could be better.

Great stay in a great location

My friend and I, along with my dog, stayed here for a couple nights and really enjoyed it. It’s in a great location on the road that leads directly to Crater Lake, and since I’m directionally challenged, that was a bonus. Xena really enjoyed running around in the back yard and just sitting out there and taking in all the smells.

A charming, rustic house in the tiny town of Fort Klamath. A fabulous view of the mountains awaits you out the back door. There’s also a wonderful small store almost across the street with a great selection of produce, sandwiches, beer, wine, and coffee.

Great location, close to Crater Lake

Centrally located to Crater Lake (20-25 min to visitor’s center) as well as Klamath Falls (40-45 min) for the best dining options in the area.As noted in other reviews, the market located directly across the street from the property is fantastic with lots of healthy and organic options, although pricey (supply and demand).Beautiful location adjacent to ranch land provides the perfect backdrop for gorgeous sunsets.
