Magical property!

this is an ideal property for a family vacation! they have thought about everything as it relates to making your stay enjoyable. Our group ranged from my 3 year old son to my 80 year old father and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely!

Staycation with Friends & Familly

Went with a group of 8 adults for a staycation just an hour and a half from home. First group trip in almost 3 years, had the best time. Very relaxing, perfect weather, beautiful property and home! Couldn't ask for better amenities and great host! Will be re-booking for sure!

Lakeside beauty

Two families (with 3 children 6, 8 and 10) came to the lake for a week away. It turned out to be the best layout for family groups, with lots of bedrooms. With a play room, two living room areas and several decks, there was a space where one could find a moment of calm. The amenities in the kitchen can make anyone a grand chef, great seating to enjoy the meal after. The dock was spacious for just relaxing or family can enjoy kayaking, SUP or just jumping in the water. easy entry into the water. Definitely would revisit this home. Thank you Braden for your great communication.

Fabulous family gathering!

Stunning home and property! In spite of a rainy cool weekend we had an incredible family get together! The house, entertainment area and yard exceeded our expectations! So much to do for all ages!

Amazing Lakefront property!

The home was amazing to stay at! The home, the amenities and the dock were simply stunning! The house was very well stocked and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. There was so much room and so much to do to keep everyone happy! Braden was a wonderful host who was so easy to communicate with, and made our stay fantastic! Sproat Lake is one of the nicest lakes around and to be able to spend time there, at this home is truly spectacular!. Thank you again Braden!

Beautiful place!

So much to do at the place you don’t want to leave! We spent our days on the lake in the kayaks and on paddle boards provided .. and evenings playing on the ping pong table and pool table! The outdoor spaces are amazing and kid friendly too!

An oasis even in the fall!

Loved staying here! Such a beautiful property, beautiful lake, kitchen, deck, -everything! I stayed with my parents, my brother and his partner, myself and my partner and my aunt and for the 7 of us it was plenty of room! We thought we maybe wouldn’t enjoy the space as much as there was rain and it was cold but we got a day of light sprinkling/clear sky and still went kayaking and fishing! I even jumped in the lake (November!!)!! They have lots of appliances, spices, towels- truly went the extra mile to stock this home well! More than anything, the host was exceptional in communicating and just being incredibly gracious and kind. Would stay again in a heartbeat and will be recommending to friends!

Wonderful Lake House

A perfect place to spend Thanksgiving (or any span of time) with our two sons, their wives and three grandchildren. With five bedrooms there was enough room for everyone to be comfortable; the property was perfectly described in the listing. Plenty of space for groups to gather, either inside or outside, and the kitchen came with everything one would need. The owner, Brandon, was more than accommodating. Our family would look forward to a return to this beautiful house, situated on a large lake in a magical part of British Columbia.

what a gem of a spot

What a wonderful accommodation, rats this place has all the amenities you need and was very well stocked and welcoming. The host was available all through the process to answer any questions . We had access to SUP, kayaks, lawn games. across the lake we went for a short, lush and beautiful hike to some falls (thanks for tip Braden). Highly recommend this home to rent with friends or family. We made some great memories this weekend.

Awesome vacation home on Sproat Lake

So glad we found this place which turned out to be the ideal vacation home for our group. The host was very easy to communicate with, responsive and welcoming. The house was clean and tidy and very well appointed, especially the kitchen which had everything you could want and more. We really loved the tranquil and idyllic setting, which offered a really breathtaking view of the lake from most rooms of the home. We had lots of fun on the dock which we used for swimming, kayaking, and SUPing. Our only complaint was we wish we could have stayed longer!! We hope to return one day.

Great vacation rental!

This house was so amazing for our large group of 8 adults and one toddler. Lots of space for everyone, and lots of activities for all including kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, hot tubbing, and a full games room including a pool table which was well used! Braden was extremely responsive to messages, and very helpful on check-in and out. We highly recommend this property! Thank you, Braden!

Best rental house we we have ever been to!

This house is beyond amazing! It has everything you need and more. Beyond being beautiful it has so many great zones around the property feels like 5 different houses. The outdoor kitchen, the patio, the dock, the rec room and then the beautiful living area and kitchen. The host was one of the kindest humans we have ever met! We had an absolute blast, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, biking in the area and just enjoying everything the home had to offer. Absolutely gorgeous property, views and very spacious home, comfy beds and it was extremely clean! Can't wait to go back again!

WHAT AN EPIC HOME!

We've stayed in a number of beautiful properties, and this was one of our absolute faves! The home was fully stocked: sooo many towels which is key with little humans at the lake. The kitchen had EVERYTHING, the beds and pillows were so comfy! I really appreciated the added toys, board games, paddle boards, kayaks and life jackets! Braden was an incredible, attentive host and was amazing!! Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!!

Amazing!

Property was beyond our expectations. Braden was a great host! Very spacious, clean and the location is like paradise! This is the perfect vacation home for anyone that is looking for peace and quiet, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the perks of Mother Nature. We will definitely be back!

Halloween alternative

We loved this place so much! A few of us decided to stay here as an alternative for Halloween. We did a scavenger hunt etc instead. Lots of room for everyone to spread out and the kids had lots of room to play. Have nothing but good things to say about this place, we will definitely be back. It's well stocked with anything you may need and not far from Alberni if you forget something. Can't wait to figure out our next stay here, it was a solid hit with everyone in our group.

Wonderful lake house

We had an amazing time at this property. It was incredibly well equipped with everything we needed for our group of 8. We really enjoyed the huge dock and the use of the paddleboards and kayaks. The location was very quiet, peaceful and private. Braden was super responsive with questions ahead of our stay. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular Family Getaway

The owner was very communicative and extremely nice. The home is large and open and very comfortable. There is lots to do that we could t fit it all in, in the four days we were here. Although the weather was lovely and hot on the labour day weekend, it wouldn’t have been a loss if it rained either as there was lots of fun activities in the house. Our family can’t wait to book again!

Very Spoiled here

Blown away! At first sight we were in awe of this modern, manicured, pristine and scenic property. So many extras for entertainment. Even a boat ride from our host. Our party of 4 were very comfortable here. Beds were all comfy, good appliances and well stocked with extras i.e. spices and other cooking and kitchen items. Plenty of dishes, pots & pans etc. The floating dock was a favourite place to hang out. Nicest dock by far. You will not want for anything on this property. Braden is the most accommodating guy we have ever dealt with. Needless to say, we will be back. P.S. We enjoyed the popcorn very much.

My brother and I grew up on Vancouver Island and always enjoyed coming up to Sproat Lake. In 2012 we bought this property and built a custom home on our favourite place on the lake.
