Great house for a stay by the beach

The house was perfect for our long weekend, with the beach a very short walk away. We also enjoyed other fun activities on IOP and made a trip into downtown Charleston.

Location is great!

Everything you can want in a getaway. The kitchen was stocked great! The grill, pool (even though we didn’t use it because it was cold) and patio were a plus. Would rent again in the spring/summer.

Perfect fit for a family with young kids

What a fabulous stay! The place was just as described with a great location close to the beach, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Very clean and a great remodel including luxury appliances.

Perfect spot

This was a great location to explore Charleston and enjoy the beach. Short walk to the beach and the pool was really nice to have. The kitchen was equipped with enough to cook meals, which we appreciated. The property manager was wonderful and very responsive. We would love to return!

Southern Dream Vacation

Our family made some amazing memories this week at the Southern Dream house! Very clean and close to the beach. We spent a lot of time at pool and back patio area which also felt very clean. This house is special and we look forward to coming back soon!

Fourth of July Getaway

The property was just as described. House was incredibly clean updated and provided extras. Pool was lovely, beds were comfortable and everything was modern and updated. Located one block from beach 3 minute walk.

We keep going back!

We love this place so much! It is the 4th time we have stayed here. We like it because we know what we are getting into when we stay. The property manager has been great to work with anytime we had a question. Planning on going back again next year!

House and pool one block from the water!

House was clean and bright, kitchen and baths looked like they'd just been remodeled, host was easy to communicate with, pool was lovely, and all of it was one block from a gorgeous beach. Really perfect.

Second stay just as good as the first!

We enjoyed this stay just as much as the first one! The pool is perfect for little ones learning to swim--my two youngest learned very quickly here. The house is perfectly equipped for all your needs and is so convenient to the beach. Thank you for another great beach week!!

Perfect vacation getaway experience. The house was perfect for the three of us…a one minute walk to the beach, private pool to relax by the house, Isle of Palms is a great beach community, and 20 minutes from Charleston and all that it has to offer. Everything about the house was perfectly prepared for our stay and we couldn’t have had a better experience.

Wonderful beach getaway!

Southern Dream was the perfect place for our family's recent trip to Isle of Palms! The inside was very clean and well updated. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we all enjoyed cooling off in the pool during the hot afternoon. The best part of the house for us was the location. It is on the quieter southern end of the island which made our stay much more relaxing and the beach was just a short walk away. It was definitely a trip to remember!

We needed a place to stay while helping our 27 year old daughter recuperate from a minor surgery. Your home was the perfect spot. We live in Ohio (our daughter in Mount Pleasant), and we needed a clean, convenient, peaceful place to stay for 5 days. We were 1 mile from a grocery store and steps from the beach when we needed to clear our heads. THANK YOU!!

A perfect local and setup for family and young kids!

We had a wonderful stay! Communication with John was easy and he was always quick to respond, both before and during our stay. He kindly offered to add some childproof locks to the doors leading to the pool to keep our young kids safe. We really appreciated that! Kitchen and living areas were great for our group, loved all the counter space! We absolutely loved having easy access to the beach AND the pool. It was a huge plus to have beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, a cart and toys at the house. We would 100% stay again!!

AS ADVERTISED!

It had all the amenities listed and perfectly suited our needs. They were amenable to letting us in early (our flight was very early in the day and we travelled with someone with mobility issues), once the cleaning crew finished. The two driveways also were a plus for the same reason above. There was a minor issue with the refrigerator which they had promptly fixed the next day. It was a great value!

We had a great time at this rental. Clean, updated, can’t beat the location! Had a little check in trouble but the manager quickly responded and the owners were very understanding. Would definitely recommend this property and we’ll be back for sure!!

This home is Perfect for anyone who does not wish to climb stairs. It is in perfect condition for the most discerning visitor. The pool is salt water and very refreshing. We have a gas grill and patio set for outdoor cooking. Rent a golf cart or bikes and cruise around the island. This home is in a Great Location and just a short ride to downtown Charleston (20mins).

You won't be disappointed with the Quality of this home. From the Wolf gas range to the SubZero Fridge, you will find everything you need to cook. There is a large curved Smart TV in the living room and another SamSung 46" TV in the master bedroom. All of the furnishings and beds are new and hardly used. The decor is off the charts! You will feel like you are in a 5 star resort!
