The cottage is very comfortable, clean and extremely well-appointed, at least in my opinion. The one caveat in regard to comfort is that the ceilings are extremely low, which might prove an issue for someone taller than 5’10” — particularly in the shower. But personally I was fine. “Cozy” is definitely the word.The location seemed pretty great to me — close distance to multiple hiking opportunities as well as food, gas, groceries, etc. A short drive gets you to the downtown nightlife area.The host (or host company rep? Not exactly sure) is extremely responsive and helpful, even at 3 am for example. Really positive interactions the whole time.Really can’t think of any complaints (unless the ceiling is a problem for you). I thoroughly enjoyed the place, enjoyed Colorado Springs, and would gladly stay there again on my next visit.Oh also — one morning a deer with great big antlers walked right up to the porch and started munching some of the plants out front. Didn’t seem to care that I was watching him from the window. Enjoyed that moment.

Lovely bungalow

Property was just as advertised, a clean and comfy bungalow with great amenities, close to hiking and good restaurants and breweries. Check in and check out process was super easy, we had everything we needed at the property. We will definitely be coming back!

Great getaway!

This was a great spot for my husband and myself to get away for a couple of days. It was as advertised. Just want to note - the bedroom and bathroom have low ceilings. If you are over 6', this would not be a good location for you. Otherwise, I would visit this location again.

lovely cottage, well equipped

We loved the little cottage. The living room and kitchen were bigger than expected! Bed and bedroom are small but we made it work for the 2 of us with no problem. Very thoughtful in details (storage clothing and bathroom items, lots of towels, tables in all the right places). The kitchen was great and we cooked several meals there. Location was perfect for us. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great place!

Absolutely loved everything about this cottage - it was the perfect size, location and atmosphere. I know I will be staying here again if it is available on my upcoming trips to Colorado Springs. The only downside, and I hate to mention it but hopefully the owners/management will see, is the bed. I think it is time for a new mattress. But don't let that stop you from booking - this place is great!

Benny's Cottage is amazing

I was looking for somewhere safe for me to stay by myself. This little cottage was perfect, and it was close to everything I wanted to do. When I called them at 8:30 am on checkout day and asked for 30 extra minutes for checkout, they were very willing to grant me the extra time.

Quiet place yet close to Colorado Springs activities

Our stay was relaxing. We were close to the points of interest we wanted to see. The house was nicely furnished and stocked. We had no direct communication with the hosts as all was quite well detailed in the pre-checkin information. Of note: this place may be a challenge for tall people (over 6'2 or so) as the ceilings in the bathroom and bedroom are quite low. We were fine with it, but if taller, it would have been a challenge. Thanks for hosting us!

Cute cottage, great location!

This perfectly set up rental had everything we needed. We enjoyed the covered porch during a brief thunderstorm, and the grassy fenced in side yard was also a restful retreat after hiking all day. We were 15 minutes away from many beautiful hiking trails. Thank you!

There’s much better

The unit itself pretty much is as advertised. The bed is small. If your over 5’11” expect Your feet to hang off the end. Once you get your arrival information, you will be told that the air conditioning can not be set below 68 degrees. When you get into the unit you will notice it can’t be set below 70 degrees. If you can run air conditioning when it is 90+ degrees out you should not be renting the house. None of the door close, bathroom, bedroom. The floors all creak sonic you get up early and your spouse does not count on waking them up. The description also says a short distance to broadmoor, which is why we rented. We like to walk. A short distance in my definition is not 2 miles up hill. Overall a cute place, but needs some serious attention and fixing up. And honesty in the ads.

Cozy and Convenient!

It was a pleasure staying in this quaint and cozy cottage! It was equipped with everything we needed for a three day stay and convenient to restaurants and other activities. We were able to ride our bikes from the property and enjoyed local bike trails. The back patio/yard was perfect for morning coffee and drinks in the evening. We requested an additional night’s stay and the owner and management team worked with us to make it happen. We will definitely stay here again!

Adorable and super clean

The cottage was super clean, comfortable, and pleasantly well-equiped with some basic staples (i.e. coffee, tea, bottled water, shampoo, even q-tips!) where I didn't need to run to the grocery store right away - we drove 16 hours and these little perks were so appreciated!! The cottage overall was adorable and I would definitely stay again if I ever make it back to Colorado. The neighborhood was quiet and near everything, never heard the main property dog or even saw them, the check-in/out process was super easy. Wonderful experience!

Weekend getaway

This was our first trip as solo parents in 2 years. We had only one night scheduled but when we reached out to the property mgrs due to bad weather rolling in and we were not able to camp they were able to accommodate us last minute. They were quick to respond which took a lot of last minute stress out of our trip. The house was extremely clean and well takin care of. Quick drive or a nice walk was convenient to restaurants etc. we would definitely look to rent here again when we make it back to the area!

I’d Stay Again in a Heartbeat

Easy friendly communications, detailed information about the VRBO and specific, easy access to the property. Everything was pristine, fully organized for one’s needs as well as quiet. The entire stay was comfortable, delightful and I will book this beautiful place as often as I visit Colorado Springs!
