True Prescott Experience Cabin, Pines & Needles, Boulders cerca de Whiskey Row

Nuestra cabaña se encuentra en una granja muy antigua establecida en 1888. Es una comunidad muy unida con grandes caminos, altos pinos susurrantes enclavados entre rocas verdes cubiertas de musgo. ¡Está a solo 6-7 millas de Whiskey Row, en el centro de Prescott, pero te sientes como si estuvieras en Tahoe! La gente tiene una idea errónea de AZ o Prescott. Piensan que somos CALIENTES, planos y arenosos. Estamos a 5400 pies de elevación. Cuatro estaciones. Nieve a veces en el invierno. Monzones en el verano! Colorida temporada de otoño. Nuestras noches de verano se vuelven frescas, con temperaturas máximas de verano suaves en comparación con Phoenix. Nuestra cabaña es pequeña y pintoresca con una estufa de leña.

La cabina se encuentra en 1/3 de un acre. Tenemos una cama king size para dormir en el dormitorio con un sofá cama completo en la planta baja. El baño está abajo. Esta casa no es adecuada para personas con limitaciones físicas.

Tiene un porche proyectado que es muy grande. Tiene electricidad y luces con una mesa para 6 y una sala de estar. Fantástico espacio entretenido. El espacio al aire libre es hermoso con un patio cubierto, mesa para seis. También tiene luces para comer al aire libre. Treager fumador / barbacoa todo configurado. ¡En algún momento tendremos una casa de literas configurada para acomodar a 2 para dormir durante la noche de verano!

El tiempo de silencio es a las 10:00 p.m. Nos gustan nuestros vecinos y respetamos su privacidad y su paz y tranquilidad. Nos gusta que oscurezca afuera por la noche para mirar las estrellas.

Weekend Get Away

The cabin amenities and location are perfect. Only a few minutes from town, but felt like it was hours away. Quite neighborhood, comfortable bedding, and great views for bird watching, even from the bedroom. Will recommend and would stay again.

We loved our stay in this cabin! The outdoor chiminea/fireplace shown isn't available and the water smelled like sulfur too much that we couldn't use the soaker tub but all in all we enjoyed our stay.

We had the perfect new years! The cabin is so accommodating and comfy. We got beautiful snow and had some great snow ball fights in the yard! We can't wait to visit this cabin again.

Great location and clean cabin in the Ponderosa pines. Everything you need is provided, except no washer and dryer. Excellent new sleep number king size bed. Will recommend to family and friends.

Short Prescott get-away

Booking and check-in were easy. It was nice to find a place that didn’t require a minimum stay. The neighborhood was quiet and felt as if we were on a much larger (secluded) property but was only minutes from town. The cabin was stocked with everything except food. The bedroom was large and comfortable. I’d go again!

Excellent Cabin Stay

Fantastic cabin to stay when in need to getaway from town and from the daily grind. The cabin is in a great location it’s close to Safeway for supplies and other stores in 10 minute drive. The cabin is really nice and has everything Available for use. The owner is great in responding with any questions in a timely manner. The views were just breathtaking with the ponderosa pine forest. We enjoyed the walks and taking in the views and fresh air. I will definitely come back and recommend this location.

Family Thanksgiving

My parents actually have a permanent residence nearby so when my husband and I decided to visit for Thanksgiving this was a perfect spot! The cabin was incredibly comfortable. Due to Mary Ann's kindness and accomodation we even were able to host the feast for family there (4 of us) and made part of the meal! It was wonderful. I would highly recommend renting this cabin, it's well appointed, comfortable and close to town activities. Prescott is a great town regardless of the time of year and I am sure you'll enjoy it! We will absolutely will be back!

Cabin Getaway

This cabin is in a quiet neighborhood less than 15 minutes from downtown Prescott. It was very comfortable for the two of us, although bring everything you need if you plan to cook. There were minimal staples, no spices and no condiments on hand. There is a nice screened porch, and we didn't feel the need to use the A/C, since a fan was available. The WiFi worked well. We would recommend this home, and the entire area. Lots to explore!

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I decided to take advantage of the extra day on Thanksgiving weekend to take a much needed getaway. This property was just what the doctor ordered! Very clean, quiet and cozy for the two of us. We read, watched movies ad took naps and walks around the beautiful little neighborhood that is Ponderosa Park. It is also close enough to town that we stepped out for a date night on Saturday night. I have already recommended this quaint little cabin to other family members who are also overdue for a getaway. Plus we found a beautiful stained glass piece in the cabin that we purchased which made the perfect souvenir. Highly recommend!!! Will stay here again!

Peace and Quiet in Ponderosa Park

The most important factor in rating this cabin is its location. It is located just about the top of the hill surrounded by hundreds of mature Ponderosa Pines. We were greeted by wild turkeys, observed by mule deer, entertained by Hummingbirds, constantly checked out by a dozen of woodpeckers, and visited once by a Javelina. We spent as many hours as possible outdoors moving into shade as the sun rotated around this spectacular spot. It was a joy to inhale the fresh air after a rain shower filled the air with the aroma of Ponderosa pines. It brought back memories of my childhood in Germany. The cabin is built solid, I enjoyed watching the storms move in from the barn doors of the porch, you could reach out and touch the welcomed rain. The storm water quickly drained utilizing the asphalt-topped road as a river bed and drying up minutes after the rain stopped. We enjoyed the close proximity to Prescott, the major grocery store just being 20 minutes away on a very pleasant ride to town. The cabin had all the amenities you want: clean and comfortable bath rooms, a kitchen sized to keep the man of the house out of there, and a refrigerator that suggests you keep your beer in a cooler on the porch. The choice of restaurants was tremendous. We rated El Gato Azul as first class, Murphy's a close second and the Farmer's Provision third best We will be back to enjoy several other recommended eateries in years to come..

Nice little place

This was a great place to stay. The home is cozy and quaint. The soaking tub is amazing. Location is great, about 10 minutes from the heart of Prescott. So you feel out of the city but not too far.

We purchased this small cabin in 2018. We are experienced Hosts with other vacation rentals under our belts. We live in the Prescott area and feel blessed that we get to call this home. When we moved here we were seeking a city that felt like a close-knit community. Small town USA. Prescott delivers that. Mary Ann had a retail shop in town where she taught furniture painting class and had decor items. Steve joined the HOG chapter and was their Secretary for 2 years. Mary Ann retired from the California Highway Patrol and Steve did his 20 in the Navy and then went into the medical-field for another 15 years. We are very hands on owners. We wish you only the best experience when you stay at Pines and Needles Cabin

We fell in love with this small cabin as soon as we saw it. It is small with plenty of room to relax, cook and just get away from it all.

The air is clean and the mornings are cool. The stars are amazing. This is why the outside lights are turned off, so you can enjoy the milky-way! The lot is on a 3rd of an acre. Our neighbors are quiet and we like the small community. Close to town with just a short drive to all that Prescott has to offer.

One of projects on our list is to make the outdoor building a bunkhouse. I can't wait to get in there and make it a useable space for our guests. The large porch is an added bonus. Has electricity and lights. Large dining area and a relaxing sitting space.

Feels as if you are miles and miles from Whiskey Row, when in reality you are less than 7 miles on a beautiful pine tree lined road.

Small enough to feel cozy yet with the large screened in porch to sit and read a book, candle lite dinners or a place to gather for conversation and rejuvenation.
