Ábrete camino hacia Sugarwood Beach y encuentra tu tranquila escapada al final de un tranquilo callejón sin salida. Un porche protegido da la bienvenida a todos y es un lugar para observar la comunidad de colibríes atraídos por las flores en el patio delantero.

Great location, comfortable home

We stayed here as a family of 4 with two young kids plus my mom joined us. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood that is a short drive to Seaside. Walking to the beach is doable but keep in mind the entrance is a set of steep stairs to the beach so you’d have to leave any wagon, stroller etc at the top. The house comfortably fit our group and we had plenty of space. The guest house had a couple of issues upon our arrival but management promptly addressed them. The front screened-in porch was great for relaxing in the mornings and evenings or eating a meal.

Month stay February

Nice property that needs some TLC. Beds were comfortable. The couches are very old sleepers with shot cushions.Kitchen supplies are a hodgepodge. Busy culdesac.On the plus side, the management company was very responsive when we had an issue or needed something. We enjoyed the front screen porch and the locations. Bikes were in good shape. All in all a pretty good value for the neighborhood.

LOVED our time at Sugarwood

So spacious and airy and beautiful! We relaxed more at this house than we have in years. Loved the carriage house for the older kids! Nice walk to the beach and so close to seaside. Will definitely book here again!

Great House/Location

The property was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. Wonderful house and location nestled in a cul-de-sac of a quiet neighborhood. Close to public beach access and a relatively short walk, bike or golf cart drive to the city center. Highly recommend.

Quiet neighborhood near the beach

We appreciated the bikes for getting to the beach and to Seaside, as well as the screen porch and "hideaway" areas (the carriage house and third-floor overlook room).

Great home great location

Loved staying at this home again. It’s our 3rd time and it’s always the best trips. House is perfect space for our group. Having the carriage house makes a great space for married children. Will be staying again for sure.

Perfect house for a girls trip over to 30A! House had everything we needed, including bikes to take a short ride over to seaside and the beach. Loved the garage apartment for extra quiet space. Would definitely stay here again.

Great family house

Renting this property was pretty easy; check in a breeze with door code. We had five adults & three teens. The bunk beds were a bit of a problem because all our teens are over 6’ tall. Our only issue was lack of response with a few problems at the house. We sent emails stating what needed addressing and never received any response. None of the problems were major but I hope they will be fixed before the next renters arrive. One thing was that of the three bikes, only one lock worked so we were not able to use the other two. We notified the office; no response. On the positive side, the house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood not far from the beach. There were beach chairs available for our use. All in all it was a very enjoyable trip!

Good rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is as described except the beds upstairs are doubles and not queens. The rental was clean and spacious. We recommend replacement of master mattress and frame (it sags too much to be comfortable). Two toilets kept running while we were there so we shut the water off. We texted maintenance upon leaving and they said they would fix. Also, the towel rack in the master bath is loose and should be tightened. The A/C must have broken before our stay as 2 portable units were inside the unit upon our arrival. We were told they would come an remove them but they did not (which did not bother us) and the general A/C worked well during our stay. Consider adding another hairdryer in the carriage house. Renting in the 30A properties requires an immediate trip to the grocery store (salt, pepper, napkins, kleenex etc). The Publix is within driving distance of this rental. Consider decluttering as so many knick knacks have to make it harder on the cleaning crew. Overall an enjoyable stay and we would return. Communication with Oversee was prompt and pleasant.

April 2022 Stay

House is in good location; 10 min walk to beach, then 30 steps down. Everything was as depicted in photos except the upstairs bedroom has 2 full beds (not queens). We recommend minor modifications: the master bed frame and mattress need replacement; they have reinforced the frame but that really does not help and the bed is too uncomfortable for good sleep; two of the toilets did not shut off so we turned off the water and reported after leaving. Adding a hair dryer to the garage cottage is also recommended. Renting in this region requires an immediate trip to grocery store: salt, pepper, napkins, kleenex, etc. I would also recommend that the owners declutter half the knick knacks as they just make it harder for the cleaning crew and add nothing to the esthetic. Having said that, the house was clean, Oversee Rentals communicated well regarding the access code and it was a pleasurable stay with a good configurations of bedrooms.

Impressed

This warm and inviting home was nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac in a beautiful neighborhood with quite stately homes sprinkled in. Humming bird cottage is a place I will definitely stay at again. The living area is ample and open, it is decorated in a fun beach theme, has ample room for several guests, and is very cozy. Our teens loved the mother-in-law suite and we loved that they had their own space to hang out. The kitchen was nice and we enjoyed having breakfast and lunch there most days. Of a morning I walked throughout the beautiful neighborhood and then to the beach. I even saw a hummingbird. Although, I had to rescue it because it flew into the screened in porch, and I gently had to push it’s little beak out of the screen. Try this place out, I think you will be surprised at how lovely it truly is. It’s away from the hustle and bustle but then you are just a short walk (or you can ride one of the bikes) to the beach or to the Plaza.

Not great weather, but great fun anyway

Our grandkids were in school so we had a few days of quiet. I loved hanging out in the 3rd floor cozy space. I want one of these in my house! The grandkids were there on the weekend and we had plenty of space and lots of fun. The bikes were great and the kitchen had most of what we needed.

Home away from home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the place. It is at the end of a long cul-du-sac so it is very quite. There is plenty of space to park. The cottage over the garage was nice for the teenage kids. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Took a few minutes to figure out the cable TV but once we did all worked well. I would definitely recommend it to others.
