Nuestro barrio es una mezcla maravillosa de la vida de playa casual de California meridional con un vibrante influencia del arte / música.
grandes restaurantes, cervecerías, bares y lugares de moda atraen a los jóvenes y los jóvenes de corazón por igual!
Tenemos los mercados de agricultores, museos, ciclismo, senderismo, deportes acuáticos y mucho más! Steve y yo nos encanta viajar, pero todavía encontramos que nuestra pequeña "joya", conocido como Oceanside es el lugar que encanta venir a casa! Creemos que usted también lo hará!

Otros detalles pueden ser útiles:
Nuestra estación de tren está a sólo 1, 5 millas de nuestra casa, y le da la posibilidad de viajar hacia arriba o hacia abajo de la costa para disfrutar de todo, desde Balboa Park y el zoológico de San Diego al distrito de Gaslamp de San Diego, Petco Park y el centro de San Diego.
Hacia el norte se puede tomar a la derecha en el pueblo de San Juan Capistrano para un viaje de un día a la Misión, tiendas y restaurantes. Viajar más al norte, se puede entrenar a Disneyland, Los Ángeles y hasta la costa de Santa Bárbara.
Como verán en las fotos que nuestra casa tiene una amplia cocina, sala de estar y una gran sala de estar y un dormitorio abajo. Arriba incluye un correo de un gran dormitorio principal y un baño y dos dormitorios adicionales, zona de oficinas y otro baño completo.
Nuestro patio es perfecto para el entretenimiento o simplemente relajarse. Disfrutar de la privacidad que ofrece esta caseros colgados! Tenemos una parrilla, refrigerador y amplios asientos para cenar al aire libre.

We had a Wonderful vacation!

Location is awesome! A few minutes away by car to Oceanside beach and pier. My teenage kids rented body boards to enjoy the waves. The house is in a more secluded area and the backyard has a lot of privacy . Walmart, CVS, Dunkin Donuts, are all within 5 minutes drive. The house itself is very spacious , with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Also Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Monica are all easy distance for day trips. Marijane was super easy to get ahold of and very responsive.

Oceanside Visit

Just a thank you to Marijane and Steve, for accommodating my family and I, for this visit (even considering a last minute adjustment we had to make). A wonderful home, located close to everything.......beach , freeways, stores, restaurants, Camp Pendleton, and San Diego. The interesting thing is you are close to all of these amenities, however, when you are at the house, up in the hills, you are detatched (quiet and peaceful). Nice backyard with grill and firepit....wonderful view. Lots of space inside and out. Thanks again!

Beautiful Oceanside home on Fire Mountain

This was the perfect home for our stay in Oceanside. We were in town for a soccer tournament and shared the home with another family. The house has a beautiful outdoor patio in a quiet neighborhood. The location was ideal as we were only fifteen minutes from the fields and only a mile from the beach with easy access to the highway to get to anywhere we wanted to go. The house is very comfortable with a beautiful master bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating to our schedule. Would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home and property!

We had an amazing stay at Marijane and Steve's home and would highly recommend this rental for anyone visiting the Oceanside/Carlsbad area. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Even with a large group of multiple families, we never felt on top of each other. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms allowed us all to have our own space and have some quiet time when needed. The back patio is fabulous and beautifully landscaped. We spent much of our time on the patio and it felt very private due to the house sitting up on a hill. The house is located close to the beach; however, if taking a lot of gear with you or if traveling with children, the walk can be a little long. We didn't mind taking the car to the beach because we could be there in minutes. The house is also located close to Wal-Mart, Trader Joe's, Starbucks, and other shops and restaurants. It was actually faster for us to walk to the stores than to drive as there is a foot path to stores a couple blocks away. Getting on the 5 and 78 is also very easy from this location. Lastly, our hosts, Marijane and Steve, were wonderful. They gave us our privacy and made us feel welcome in their home. They provided a lot of information on what there was to do in the area and they even gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy. The house had everything we needed, from bedding to dishes. We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and convenient

Great property. Owners were very helpful before and during the stay. 10 minutes to legoland, 5 minutes to Oceanside pier, 5 mins to Carlsbad.

Beautiful place that made our stay perfect! We couldn't have asked for more!!!

Remarkably kept home in a secluded cul de sac that is minutes from the ocean and amenities. Spacious with wonderful views and outdoor terrace. It was the perfect place to spend time with our family.

Wonderful home located near everything!!!!

Beautiful spacious home in a quiet neighborhood but near everything. Close enough to walk to shops and stores. Very relaxing garden patio area with nice view. We loved staying here. Had thanksgiving with our family and had everything we needed in kitchen...owners are great to work with. We will stay here again

Beautiful home

This was our second stay at Steve and Marijane's beautiful home. It's so convenient to have the large driveway to load and unload. It's close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The backyard is a beautiful sanctuary with birds, succulents, and beautiful waterfall. The kitchen is large and well equipped. We would definitely recommend for a family vacation! Can't wait to come back. Thank you Steve and Marijane!!!

Beautiful, big house was great for our family!

This house is beautiful, clean and spacious. Although it's close and easy access to both 78 and I-5 freeways, it's located on a quiet and private cul-da-sac. The owners were so helpful in answering all our questions prior to booking and our arrival. They even left us some goodies to eat and drink while staying at the house (nice touch!). And although they were not in town during our visit, their daughter Leah was available and so helpful while we were in town. It was really hot while we were there. The downstairs we comfortable with the windows open and the breeze blowing through, but the upstairs got hot at night. Leah went above and beyond to deliver three brand-new fans, which was so helpful and appreciated. Short drive to Carlsbad and Oceanside; enjoyed some great restaurants (although the kitchen is big and has everything you need to cook in). Would definitely stay here again.

Great patio & location

The house was close to everything we love to do in Carlsbad & the wedding we were in town for - without the need to get on the freeway. We spent hours out on the patio enjoying the sound of the waterfall and watching the hummingbirds and finches play in the water. Steve and Marijane were very nice to meet us at the home and show us around. It is a very quiet neighborhood...only a little noise from I-5 when outside. We would certainly recommend this home to friends.

We felt right at home in this beautiful big house!

My family of 5 adults had a wonderful time. The home is spacious and clean. We were close to the beach and shopping. After getting checked in and unpacked, I called to ask if we could extend one extra day. Marijane was so accommodating and gracious. We hope to return one day. Thank you Marijane!!

Lovely and Convenient

This lovely house is situated in a quiet neighborhood, a 5 minute walk to convenient shopping, 5 minute drive to the attractions of Oceanside and Carlsbad. Route 5 and 78 intersect about a half mile from the house so going in any direction is easy. We enjoyed the open spaces with beautiful decorating and the back patio was such a private, peaceful setting. Leaving all the windows open gave us a nice breeze so we could enjoy the weather without the hum of air conditioning. We came for a family wedding, hopefully two more to go so that we may reserve the house again.

Steve and I enjoy anything outside! Hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking or simply an evening out back enjoying dinner and a glass of wine with friends.
We are involved in our local community through our businesses, our church, and our philanthropic interests.
We have had the opportunity to travel extensively and love meeting people and learning about cultures, traditions and daily life in their corner of the world.
Every trip we take is the best trip we've ever had! Although the cities are exciting, we have found that we're "off the beaten path people" and really love exploring the back roads with quaint and quiet towns along the way.
Our style of travel is simple. We tend to bring a backpack, travel without reservations, forgo a car so we can hop on trains when available and let the day's adventure unfold as the day does.
Having a home base vacation rather than a big box hotel works beautifully for us because it allows us to feel at home and wander from there.
Steve and I both work from home. Steve has been in real estate for 40 years where he specializes in land development. I have been fortunate enough to work in the exciting world of fashion and love the opportunities that go along with that!
When we are not here in Southern California, you can find Steve and I in the artsy and historic town of Bisbee, Arizona where we are owners and managing partners of a beautiful boutique inn called the Letson Loft Hotel. Be sure to check it out since you may want to take a trip over to Bisbee while you are here in California!
We have 4 children and 4 beautiful grandsons! Aside from spending as much time as possible with those loves, we're pretty much in the "foot loose" season of life to enjoy travel and creating new adventures together!

If you like natural light, you'll love this home! We have windows everywhere so it is light and bright offering nice views with complete privacy.
