Palekaiko, lo que significa paraíso, es nuestro 3200 + sq. Ft. Hogar lejos del hogar situado en más de un acre en una comunidad cerrada. Palekaiko tiene cuatro dormitorios, cuatro baños y medio, una oficina y casi 1000 sq. Ft. De espacio al aire libre. Con una cocina al aire libre con una barbacoa DCS 30 "y una nevera. A perfect stay on the Big Island

The house could not have been more perfect for our family’s vacation on the Big Island. Everything from the view, the pool, the kitchens (both indoor and out), the layout for a vacationing family, the location, and all the thoughtful amenities were absolutely perfect. We had a week full of adventures and loved nothing more than starting our days with coffee on the lanai looking out at the view and returning to this beautiful home each evening for sunset and dinners outside. Loved every minute of it! Thank you to our amazing hosts!!

Family Trip

Such a great home for a multi-generational trip. There were enough bedrooms for everyone to rest comfortably. The home was so well stocked, from the kitchen having basic condiments/seasonings you may need, to the pool having all the toys and life jackets. Great, quiet neighborhood (the small coffee farm down the road was a great place to check out). The pool does not get very warm (we were prepared since it was mentioned in the listing) But something to keep in mind. Unfortunately it was a little too cold for our liking so we didn’t use it much. But overall a great home with amazing features. Great for a large family!

This home was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for my family. The home was very well stocked with everything you need including the kitchen, bathrooms and a day at the beach. Under whelming, not worth the price

Cold showers every day. No A/C. Only network channels on bedroom televisions. Old opened food in the fridge. Trash was not removed from the kitchen, we had to clean it all out. Pool is not heated. Not much privacy in master suites due to having to leave the screen doors open to control the room temps. At this price point, you expect a certain level of luxury, this home is not it. Definitely not worth the price being charged. I would not book this property again. For those booking in the future, make sure you are ok with the items above.

Amazing Hawaiian property

The house and property was perfect for our family vacation- nine of us ranging in ages from 8-78 found a comfortable and amazing home away from home while we visited the big island. Layout of house provided everyone with privacy and still has the main living areas in the center of the home to spend plenty of time together. Patio and pool were fantastic and the views- just cannot describe- it was our favorite place to be and look out over the horizon. Kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms had all essentials so no need to bring shampoo and soap. Laundry room was nicely set up and there were tons of beach supplies. We had a wonderful time and would recommend the house to anyone.

A piece of paradise!

What a stunning home with breathtaking views! There were 11 in our party ranging from 15-65. This house accommodated all of us with ease. We had everything we needed for our island trip. It is close to the beaches, shops, farmers markets, and the airport. The only downfall to this home was not having an air conditioner, however, having the pool and outside showers aided in cooling off. The master suites that open to the pool area were amazing, I loved waking up to the view of the ocean every morning! The rain gutter drains were unique and I truly enjoyed watching them when it rained! Justin was available via phone, text, or email and always responded promptly! I cannot say enough about our experience in Hawaii, the memories made, and it started with this home! Thank you Justin for sharing your piece of paradise!

Terrific stay at beautiful Kona estate

Truly fantastic home! Fantastic open concept great room with modern kitchen and living area. Wide-open indoor / outdoor living with huge sliding doors out to patio. Outdoor kitchen and infinity pool. Two awesome master suites with huge bathrooms! Lots of provided goodies to enjoy the beach like chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys. And a truly amazing view of Kona. My family was very impressed with this property. Certainly one of the best we have stayed at on VRBO. And Justin the owner was extremely responsive and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation stay.

Serenity in Paradise

Palekaiko is a gorgeous property. Justin and Jill have poured themselves into making this a first class property. Great for families with lots of space. Views as far as you can see. But what stands out is the peace and tranquility that you have while staying at this lovely home. This is why we take vacations! While is would have been nice to walk out to the beach, the views, the private pool, the afternoon Hawaiian showers all made for a wonderful week! Thank you Justin!

Had the opportunity to spend a week at this amazing rental home, traveling as a group of 3 couples. We have stayed at countless rental houses over the years and this is one of the best. Communication with the owner is timely and concise. The house was impeccably designed and decorated, well stocked and leaving nothing to be desired. The views from the large covered patio and infinity edge pool are breathtaking. All 3 couples felt like they were each able to have their own luxuriously private suites, all with ocean views. If you are looking for an spectacular rental home to enjoy with a group of friends/family, that is also centrally located, look no further, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing Home = Perfect Vacation

Every detail was thought carefully through; from the initial contact with the owner, the correspondence up until we arrived until we checked out, and then the setup of the home. It's hard to go wrong with a beautiful home with the perfect view. Before we arrived the owner was in direct communication letting us know of every detail we would need upon check-in. The instructions were impeccable and very easy to follow. When we arrived, everything was perfectly planned for guests from a kitchen fully-stocked with cooking utensils and plenty of indoor and outdoor supplies. There were multiple beach and pool towels with toys for each. Again, every detail was thought through carefully, as if the owners were to rent; what would they need and want to make their family vacation easy. Check out instructions were just as easy and the owner even emailed to remind us of trash day pick up. The home was perfect for our family, which consisted of six adults and two kiddos. The neighborhood was quiet and it was wonderful to be close to everything, yet far enough away to be by ourselves. We have learned that having a great place to land while you are away from home makes 75% of your vacation enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable vacation!

lost in paradise

the home was beautiful. we wanted for nothing. the views from the entire house were wonderful, especially the 3 rear master suites. million dollar. and I loved the location, could look down on the city and water. we enjoyed watching a cruise ship taking passengers to the city. loved the design of each of the 4 master suites. had a separate hall to each suite. totally private area. the kitchen was completely stocked with high end cooking and eating utensils.had to check the dishwasher to make sure that it was working....totally silent. ate some of the yellow bananas that were on a tree in the front yard. 3 large stalks! yard and home were very well maintained. the cool breeze in the home was wonderful during the day and very welcome at night. I unsually am hot at night, with airconditioning, but not at all during our stay. would love to return

Beautiful view! All the amenities needed and more!

We are a family of 5 and took two friends. We loved our stay here! We were so impressed with the quick response from Justin and his willingness to help when needed. The house is just gorgeous and has everything you could ever need! The pool was on the cool side because of solar heat, but it was refreshing on the hot days. There is everything you need for pool fun and beach fun! We highly recommend staying here!

Chateau Palekaiko - Paradise on the Hill

Palekaiko Estate has spoiled us when it comes to spending time in Kona. From the stunning views to the thoughtfulness the owners, this place’s stellar rating is rightfully earned and deserves the highest praise (and return trips). Palekaiko sits perched along the sloping sides of Hualālai, overlooking Kailua-Kona and Kailua/Kahului bay. Equidistant from the beachside bars and restaurants in Kailua and essentials such as Safeway and Target, the Estate’s location allowed us to be almost anywhere in town in less than 10 minutes. Traffic and noise are at the barest minimum. The entire estate is surrounded by an impeccably manicured lawn, with the landscape beyond filled with fruit trees and local flora. This natural barrier allowed for increased privacy and the feeling that we were so much further removed from the town below. The house itself is astounding. As you walk up to the main entrance, you see right through the living room to the backyard, the infinity pool, and a breathtaking vista – the sunsets are truly stirring. We spent plenty of time taking in the view from this hilltop castle. The house itself deserves quite a bit of attention. You can tell it was designed to feel open and expansive, taking full advantage of the real estate it sits on. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are joined in a massive open space, while the bedrooms, office, and utility rooms are located off either wing. Each room is completely furnished and the kitchen boasts a set of enviable appliances. Most of our time was spent lounging in the infinity pool or grilling under the veranda. You’ll very quickly come to appreciate all the work the Clevelands have put into this place - Palekaiko was play-tested to perfection in every aspect, speaking to the experience and forethought of the owners. They simply cannot be praised enough for all of the work that went in to making the house as stunning as it is. They seemed to have anticipated each of our needs before they arose and designed the home accordingly, and they were always easy to get a hold of if I had any questions. They truly made us feel welcome in their home. If you’ve made it this far in the review (which, shouldn’t you be busy booking this place instead of reading?), you’ll know how highly I think of Palekaiko Estate and the owners. You will not find a place to stay that can boast privacy, comfort, and stunning views the way Palekaiko can. It is an exceptional experience in and of itself!

Perfect Choice

We stayed here the first week of December 2018. Our group included three families (6 adults, 3 small children and 2 infants). This house was the perfect choice for us. The home itself is very nice and well designed for groups. There are basically three "master" bedrooms as well as a fourth bedroom for the kids. The living space, again, is great for large groups. We spent the majority of the time with the sliding doors between the living room and outdoor area open, freely moving between the two areas. We are serious cooks and found the kitchen to be adequate for cooking several dinners. The pool is beautiful. Sadly, there is no hot tub. The landscaping is also very nice. Notably, the home is also well stocked with basically everything you could want for a Hawaii family/group vacation; towels, coolers, beach chairs, pool toys, pack and plays, etc. Finally, the owners were exceptionally easy to work with and made sure everything was meeting our needs during the stay without being intrusive. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend the house to anyone.

We are frequent visitors to Hawaii, and this is by far one of the most beautiful, well thought-out properties we've ever stayed at. First of all, the location is fantastic - it feels remote because it is residential and on a hill away from town, so it is quiet with spectacular views. But it is close enough - just a 5 to 15 min drive - to businesses like Costco, Macy's and Target and local restaurants, as well as farmers markets and beaches. The house itself is just beautiful, like the pictures. And I appreciated all the extra amenities (e.g., fans in every room, colored lights in the pool so you can swim at night, outdoor showers w environmentally friendly soap, banana trees with the most delicious fruit, full size washer/dryer w pods, thick large comfy beach towels, snorkel equipment, pool toys, computer w printer, etc.), all of which made it feel like a luxury home. Over the week, we made most of our meals because it was just so easy and convenient; there was a deep sink, extra large refrigerator, high end stainless steel appliances, large stove and sink, tons of pots/pans/dishes/utensils/plates, etc. Our large group of 11 had more than enough room to spread out. Eating indoors was surprisingly nice with the view from across the pool, thanks to gigantic screen doors that also let the nice Hawaiian breeze in. Overall, I could go on and on! As for the owners, Justin and Jill were so helpful with everything, especially when we got too excited upon arriving, that we accidentally locked ourselves out from not following directions to open the door. When we called Justin, he was able to open remotely, which was fantastic. Yes, I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

We have visited many tropical islands all over the world. When we visited the Big Island for the first time we fell in love with it. We knew that we had to own a piece of this Island and spend our vacations there with our family and friends.

We designed Palekaiko from the ground up. We tried to think of all details about this property when designing it. The most amazing feature has to be the views. They are breathtaking to say the least. We like to just sit on the lanai and enjoy the sunsets every night we are there.
