What a wonderful place for our family gathering!! The view of the lake as soon as you walk through the front door was awesome! Lots of bedrooms! The kitchen is so well stocked and we didn’t have any shortage of utensils and pans while cooking! The solarium was so cool. You could sit comfortably (and temperature controlled), yet it felt like you were right on the lake! The older members of our group really loved this! The fire pit and hot tub were also a hit! Jim was wonderful to work with. He was very welcoming and prompt in his communication. Thank you Jim!

First our host was very responsive and communicated relevant information in a timely manner. We thoroughly enjoyed holding our annual sibling reunion at this VRBO home. We enjoyed: the beautiful room decor with a variety of themes; morning coffee in the sunroom as we watched the sunrise; the firewood for bonfires in the evening; the large kitchen table for sharing meals and games; the hot tub for relaxing; the piano and ukulele for family sing alongs; and being able to charge our electric vehicle on site. All in all a terrific week for reconnecting with siblings.

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The property is clean, cozy, and perfect for large families of all ages. The kitchen is fully stocked and made cooking easy, and the big yard with a fire pit was ideal for backyard fun and relaxing evenings.Best of all was the owner, Jimmy. He was an absolute pleasure to talk with and checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. You can really tell how much pride he takes in caring for this home.Make sure to wake up early to take in the beautiful sunrise!We’ll definitely be back!

What an outstanding vacation we enjoyed with our four grandchildren ages 9-15 at this wonderful lake home on a beautiful lake. Jimmy was a most accommodating host from the time we booked our stay until the day we departed. The home was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of room for personal space. The kids spent many hours tubing on the lake from the pontoon boat we rented and docked at the lake house. The entire family spent time playing on the Wii and enjoying several games of chess. There were games of plenty. Jimmy's recommendations were excellent from where to eat to where to rent the pontoon boat. We made a couple of inquiries during our stay and Jimmy immediately responded. I highly recommend this property for family get togethers. Thank you, Jimmy, for offering this wonderful property to our family. We will have many memories

This was a wonderful place for family vacation. The host has great. The kids enjoyed the water, hot tub and yard. Attention to detail was everywhere from an emergency board in laundry room with address etc just in case, to the fan in the closet . We had a great time.

Perfect Reunion Spot

We held our family reunion at the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and with the multiple sitting rooms there we were able to visit in small groups. The amenities were outstanding! The kitchen is truly a place a master chef would kill for. The sunroom has an amazing view of the lake. The musical instruments were a hit! The kids loved the playroom, we adults enjoyed the hot tub and exercise room, and everyone enjoyed the lake. Jim provided everything we needed, including toiletries that we had forgotten. He is an amazing host, so friendly and helpful. It was the best VRBO I've stayed at and I've stayed at places all over.

Family Trip

My family and i had a great time. Honestly, i could have spent all 5 days in that sunroom. The house worked perfectly and the location is great. We truly had a wonderful time.

Lovely, comfortable, and clean. Kitchen is well stocked with dishware, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils. A great fit for our family of 5 adults, 2 children, and 1 dog. Large yard front and back. Long pier from which to tie up a boat. The community launch is approximately 15 minutes by boat and 10 minutes by car. There are many area restaurants accessible by boat and car. Quiet neighborhood. There is a very enjoyable sunroom/solarium. The host/owner is accommodating and very nice. A wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay. The view of the lake as soon as you walk in the front door is breathtaking. Jim, the host was so fabulous. He gave us information about the area and he made himself available for anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.anything we needed.

Family vacation

Jim could not have been nicer. The house was beautiful with a large front and back yard. Extremely peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend both him and this location.

Great Lake house vacation

Our family vacation included both our children’s families: 6 adults and 3 children ages 2-6. The house had plenty of sleeping space for everyone. Awesome, spacious kitchen for prepping family meals. The outdoor space was also great. Big fire pit with loads of seating. The dock was great for fishing, we rented a pontoon and were able to keep it there. The kids enjoyed playing in the water off of the dock as well as using the paddle board and kayaks. Jim is a phenomenal host, he gave us several suggestions for fishing tackle places, restaurants to boat to, etc…

Incredibly stocked house!

Our two daughters and their families stayed at the property for 5 nights. There's no "beach" per se but the 4 kids made great use of the floaties, the kayak and the paddle board that were provided (all in great condition.) The kids are mostly preteens with not much swimming experience so the very shallow water off the end of the pier more made up for no beach. The bottom is firm. Kitchen was great, very well-stocked including spices, oils and flour/sugar. Even some K-cups. Stuff like foil & baggies were also there. Double set of pots & pans and plenty of dishes. We all brought some firewood and, of course, Jim (the owner) had a big pile of it! Kids took advantage of the board games and we did a couple of puzzles. Jim recommended The Outpost for dinner, maybe 2 blocks from the house. Wish we had tried it earlier (tho it's closed M and T) but food was fresh and delicious and very reasonable.

Friends and Family and Water Fun

The house was spacious, and truly has almost anything you could think of needing. Lots of lifejackets and lake toys/tubes. He even suggested activities on rainy days based on the kids ages. He was easily reachable by text, and when he stopped by to check the hot tub balance he always checked in to see if we needed anything. Due to the high water level on the lake, when a storm rolled through, at no cost to us, he found a more sheltered dock for us to park our rented pontoon at to keep the boat safe. Plus we had a yummy dinner at the restaurant/pub as well. The hot tub was a fun add on for the kids and adults alike, the kids liked the color changing lights. The campground at the southeast corner of the lake, or the DNR at Rt 26 are both easy locations to get boats or jet skis in and out of the water. They are a 15ish minute drive, and I'd imagine in regular water levels between 15-30 via water. Thanks for the fun week!

Christmas gift weekend

Very nice house, well taken care of. All the amenities of home. Hot tub was nice. We rented a pontoon for a day. Swam and fished off the deck. Caught several fish, walleye, big cat fish, sheep head and pan fish in the rain!

Graduation in Style!

We rented the home for our extended family attending our daughters graduation from the Veterinary Medicine Program at Madison. Jim was wonderful, communication was great and he always went the extra mile to make sure our stay would be perfect. The home is lovely and the view of the lake from the sunroom was a fabulous way to start and end the day. The home was stocked with everything you could need, the beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was fabulous...Jim even revealed a hidden toybox with gems for our granddaughter to enjoy! Staying in this home was a pleasure and we would highly recommend!

Best vacation ever!

After a glitch in the beginning of our stay-which the owner worked with me to fix-it turned out to be a great vacation. Good location, right on the lake, beautiful views. And the towns around the area provided plenty of activity if we wanted it.

I have been involved in Property Management, Hospitality Management and Real Estate all my life....if you stay at this gorgeous property you will not be disappointed.......I can not control the weather during your stay but I can and will try my hardest to make sure everything else is perfect! Please read my reviews - they will tell you a lot about the property and the type of host I am. I am proud of all my 5 star reviews! I do not believe in "Nickeling and Diming" people with a lot of fees.....for example the house is Professionally cleaned prior to each rental period. This is included in the fee you pay - not tacked on as a "Cleaning Fee". Why should Cleaning Be extra? You are paying for a clean house and from my reviews you can see you will be getting a very clean house. I appreciate the fact that my house has been the backdrop for wonderful family and friends occasions......from Birthdays to Anniversaries to Reunions.....some wonderful memories have been made at the house and that makes me so happy.

Definitely not your average rental......the past guests just love the house! Peaceful, quiet but yet plenty to do.......makes for a great vacation! Please read my reviews - I really take pride in providing this awesome property for all the families and friends to enjoy!
