Great Stay

We stayed at this condo two weeks ago. It is a great space. It was really nice have the second living quarters as my family of 4 was joined by our friend and her daughter. The condo is spacious, the kitchen has all of the amenities you need and it is a beautiful location. It is minutes away from several great hikes and about 10 minutes to downtown Sedona. It's a great place.

Spring Break with Family

Hello - Due to Covid restrictions, we said, "nah," to our Cancun vacation and decided to stay state-side this year. I found The Ridge through VRBO and was very happy with our choice. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The pool and spa area is comfortable and inviting and even with temps in the low 70's it seemed very warm as any cool breeze is blocked by the surrounding foilage. There were a few things around the property in disrepair (ice machine, soda machine at the pool) and a few things were dated and showing wear around the unit, but really no big deal and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lock-out unit. It was an ideal living situation for our aging parents and our family including three teenagers. It was so nice for my parents to have their privacy (bedroom and bathroom) and the shared space was perfect! The property is in Oak Creek, so away from the busy town of Sedona but a short drive (25 min?) when traffic was good. Spring break traffic made the drive much longer during certain hours of the day - 11am to 6pm? We planned around it. There was a very noisy wedding party on our first night, so any rooms/windows facing the parking area were loud and annoying. Again, no huge deal, it happens. The Ridge is SO close to Bell Rock where there are a mix of trails and hiking/climbing for ALL ages. Get there by 8:30am for the best shot at good parking. You'll need a Red Rock pass, which can be purchased right in the parking area. Overall a GREAT place to stay and we would stay there again!

Nice location/great condo

Perfect for a weekend getaway. Our suite slept 8 people comfortably and the pool amenities were really nice! Loved our stay in Sedona.

Heavenly!

True to photos and descriptions. Cozy. Clean and well maintained. Convenient to everything. Peaceful with beautiful views. Little disappointed that the hot tub near us on the property was not working, but otherwise everything was great!

Great Place with a few flaws

Overall a really good experience but a couple of issues made the stay a bit less than excellent. Heater in one of the room sections was broken, and the shower head in the main suite felt like needles. Everything else was excellent.

Sedona Ridge Wonder!

Perfect location with stunning g views of the red rocks and beautiful property. Our stay was just for two nights but wish we could have stayed longer. Pool and hot tubs were very welcoming after a day of exploration. Very clean and quiet complex. We had a two room unit and were very nicely surprised that the lockout room also had a complete mini kitchen and separate balcony. Perfect space for two couples plus. Golf course in great shape although we did not have time to get a round in.

Great location and property.

They lost a star due to the first pool not being open, it was under construction. And the staff did not brother to communicate this fact. Luckily the second pool was open. And the wireless internet was virtually nonexistent. Which would have been fine except cell coverage is spotty at best.

Reasonable price this time of year. Couple of inconveniences.

Property was very nice. The only complaint is that the air conditioning unit was very loud in second unit. We had to sleep with the door open between units to keep it cool due to inability to sleep because of the noise. The pool was not convenient to get to. Lots of stairs to climb to get to the pool. Also the pool water didn't look very clean. Overall not a bad price for the unit itself.

Clean, spacious, quiet!

We really enjoyed our stay!! The rooms and amenities were very nice! Great kitchen, bathrooms, access to pools, patios, access to outdoor grills, etc. They may try to talk to you about considering the purchase of a time share... but they were not pushy. Very respectful and professional. I really appreciated this as we were there for quality, unobtrusive, family time... which we received! The only reason I am not offering a 5 star rating is due to the distance to the heart of Sedona. Only a few miles away but the roundabouts that are in place to keep traffic controlled really slow down the ride, usually taking us 20-25 minutes to get down town. We were there during spring break... so that may have impacted the travel time also. Not necessarily a negative as some renters might be looking downtime vs. the touristy part of Sedona.

Very nice and comfortable Only complaint was conciere recommended "Bobs" cab company for transportation to and from dinner plans one evening so nobody had to drive, and the driver couldn't even find our condo in the resort. We couldn't direct him, not being familiar with the area, and left and drove on our own

Would stay there again except for heating system noise in 704

Stayed in a two bedroom lock out. Rooms were very nice. EXCEPT for the heating system in 704p. It’s so loud you can’t sleep. Very poor engineering in that room 704 was very comfortable and quiet. Overall enjoyed the resort

Overall great experience

Good location just south of Sedona proper. Beautiful views and area, within walking distance of many restaurants and hikes. Good golf course. My kid loved the pool, went every day. The rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable. We would go back!

Stay in Sedona

Tried to check in early and were told that the room was not cleaned and that they would call us once the room was cleaned. Never received a call from them and ended up changing our plans around and checked in ~9:30. Room was nice but I could not get the bedroom cold enough to sleep well.

Just right for the night

The one thing that I would complain about is the neighbors that came and pounded on our door at 1:00 am while we were all sleeping. Apparently, they want us to join in their party.

Comfy and spacious

The condo was well maintained and clean. Everything was nice and easy We did not have any view of the Sedona red rocks as we were placed in the ground, not 1 st floor unit The pool is very nice Just ask for 1 st floor when making a reservation

Nice place but not the Sedona views

We stayed for 5 nights and felt very comfortable in this unit with lock off. Not a typical VRBO that is stocked with extras, so if you eat out you're fine. If not, you'll need to buy everything like pepper, oil etc. View from the unit assigned was right above the pool with a peek a boo view of the red rocks if you leaned off the balcony. Since it was sprimg break they could not move us, but claimed it was one of the better views. So id not stay here if a good red rock view is important either. Space was quiet and clean and very good size. They allowed for a late check out which was very nice. Overall its a comfortable clean space, just not for us as we cook and must have good red rock views when we visit this gem of an area.

Great Location, VRBO needs work

The location is great, the 2 bedroom suite needs work. Carpets need cleaning. Furniture is old and not at all comfortable. All the basics were there and in working order. With a little work place could go from okay to great. Treated well at the golf resort and check in was okay. Be prepared for a Time Share pitch to get out of the lobby.

Beautiful scenery. Loved sitting in the hottub in the evening.
