Casa Amendoeira es una bonita villa acondicionado 2 aire dormitorios situado en la propiedad privada Quinta da Saudade, un desarrollo maduro que ocupa 24 hectáreas en un país pacífico ubicación, entre naranjos, almendros y olivos cerca de 5 millas al oeste de Albufeira. La Quinta da a tierras de cultivo y los pantanos de Pera, donde hay una reserva natural de los humedales y el campo de golf de Salgados está a sólo unos minutos de distancia. La Quinta cuenta con dos piscinas, una piscina grande con una zona poco profunda separada para los niños pequeños y un tranquilo conjunto de la piscina en forma de riñón en los jardines cerca de Casa Amendoeira. Además, hay una pista de tenis, minigolf, petanca, tenis de mesa y área de juegos para niños con su propia piscina infantil. Equitación está disponible en el sitio para jinetes experimentados y novatos, así como en carroza para la persona mayor. La casa original se ha convertido en un bar / restaurante de gestión independiente abierto por las noches. También hay un bar junto a la piscina que sirve comidas ligeras durante el día.

Great place

Excellent and well located

From the booking right through to arrival this was perfect, and the villa could not be better. There was an Arrival pack, the beds were ready , the air con was on, there was wood for the wood burner, the kitchen has everything you need, and we could sit on the balcony at sunset watching a golden sun set over a nature reserve and the beach. We LOVED it and will be back!

Peaceful Algarve Gem with Scenic Surroundings

We recently stayed at this beautiful VRBO property in the Algarve and had an amazing experience. The location is absolutely stunning, offering picturesque views and a serene environment perfect for relaxation. The property can be a bit tricky to find at first. We recommend getting detailed directions. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this VRBO for anyone. We stayed with our two teenage boys.

Well kept, but very hard for my wife doing stairs. Stairs need to be better lit, very dark. Having better selection of food and beverages, milk, juice, soda.

Great location in the Algarve

The villa in Quinte de Saudade was perfectly situated for us to see many towns and sites right across the Algarve region. We stayed for 5 weeks which allowed us to become comfortable driving and to become familiar with all the local area had to offer. The villa was comfortable and clean although some furniture could be updated. The view from the villa was gorgeous and we watched the sun set almost every night. We couldn't have had a better place to stay for our first visit to the Algarve. Geraldine was very helpful with all inquiries. We have already passed on the particulars to friends here in Canada.

Lovely location

Clean property, good location but not being rented for a long time meant the property was damp and needed a lot of heating to dry it out. There was a discrepancy about the maid service, but that was sorted out. If you like horse riding, the riding school next door was excellent. You need a car to get around but you are only a short drive from Albufeira. The onsite restaurant is closed during the winter months. All in all it's a lovely property but I would book it again in the warmer months.

Beengtes und in die Jahre gekommenes Apartment. Stromkosten sind nicht inbegriffen!

Wir waren zwei Wochen im Februar hier. Bei unserer Ankunft (14 Uhr) liefen in der Unterkunft die 3 Klimaanlagen auf 26 Grad. Die Elektroheizkörper liefen auf Maximum und das bei göffneten Fenstern. Dazu brannte am hellichten Tag die gesamte Aussenbeleuchtung. Wir fanden ein Schreiben mit der Aufforderung uns direkt nach Ankunft bei der Rezeption zu melden. Als wir dort eintrafen, war diese geschlossen. Als wir am nächsten Tag dort jemanden antrafen, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Stromkosten nicht im Mietpreis enthalten seien und bei Abreise von uns gezahlt werden müssten. Wir waren geschockt und fragten die Dame was das solle. Sie meinte, das wäre so üblich und ja auch keine große Summe. Sie teilte uns den von ihr (irgendwann) abgelesenen Zählerstand auf unsere Nachfrage hin mit. Zurück im Apartment prüften wir diesen und stellten eine Differenz von 58 KWH fest. In den restlichen 13 Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes verbrauchten wir nur 86 KWH. Im Nachgang werden wir nun aufgefordert 39,91 € zu bezahlen. Das ist eine Frechheit! Wir waren schon in vielen Unterkünften aber so etwas haben wir bisher noch nicht erlebt. Es geht dabei nicht um die Summe an sich, sondern darum, dreist etwas nachträglich zu fordern, was vertraglich nie vereinbart war. Insofern können wir diese Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen. Alles in allem war es sauber aber sehr beengt und die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

In response to this review as the weather had been cold and wet we instructed our management team to make sure the villa was warm and welcoming for your arrival. The office is closed on a Sunday which was the day of your arrival and we feel this is not unreasonable. Most of the review is criticising the charge for heating in the winter months, your comments are not only inaccurate but also untrue as we have emails that were sent regarding the charges for heating which were read and you then booked the villa without any further queries. Instead of discussing your concerns with the office before departure you actually left a day early without paying the small for heating. There are plenty of photos on the website of the interior which show the decor so why book the villa if it wasn’t to your liking. A 2 bedroomed villa with an en suite and a separate bathroom and a living area, a separate kitchen is more than adequate for 2 people and usually caters for at least 4 people without any previous complaints.

Great Winter Break

We'v e had several holidays in Portugal but we have never stayed at a location like this. The house is set in a Quinta in an elevated position with beautiful views with a very peaceful atmosphere. The house just the right size for the two of us and very well maintained, light and airy and well fitted. It had a nice homely feel to it. We were very close to some beautiful beaches with some great boardwalks and as we had a car on hire it was easy to get to other resorts along the coast.

Für 5 Sterne reicht es nicht ganz, da die Sauberkeit bei Anreise nicht sehr gut war und die Ausstattung des Hauses teils sehr alt ist. Beispielsweise ist das Backblech völlig kaputt oder die Marquise nicht ideal. Die Quinta insgesamt war sehr schön und ist empfehlenswert.

Sehr schöne, ruhig gelegene Anlage mit gutem Restaurant direkt auf dem Gelände. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Sauberkeit top. Tolle Strände nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen bei 20 Grad im November.

Our Amazing Stay at Vale De Parra

We had a wonderful week here and loved every minute of it. The views were lovely and the people on site were gracious and humble. Very relaxing break.

The property is well located just a 5 minute drive from Albufeira and Guia. It was extremely quiet during our visit which is understandable for January and suited us down to the ground. The facilities in the villa were very good and we made particular use of the wood burning stove.

Wonderful location for a family holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa is comfortable and is equipped with everything you would need and the view from the balcony is fantastic. The complex has two swimming pools, a bar and a lovely restaurant that we would definitely recommend visiting. We also went on two beach rides and the horses at the stables are suitable for all abilities. My son made lots of friends and enjoyed the swimming pool, crazy golf and playing football. We look forward to returning next year.

We went with three children 11, 10 and 7 the villa and Pool were fantastic. Set in a peaceful valley away from the crowds but close enough to all the amenities and beaches. Our daughters loved the horse riding.

Perfect!

This was our first visit to the quinta. Firstly, Geradline was exceptionally helpful with the booking process and answering questions - very efficient and we felt we were in good hands! The office staff at the quinta were also very helpful. The location is idyllic and peaceful yet still within easy reach of busier resorts if that is what you are looking for. We had a car which made it easy to travel around. The villa itself was immaculate and equipped with all you could wish for and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Geraldine has provided a good information pack on places to visit/eat and there are also books and dvds available. We particularly appreciated the wood burning stove in the villa for the cooler evenings since we were visitng late December/early January when the temperature in the mornings and evenings can be chilly. There was also heating in the bedrooms which in the winter months is most welcome. The view from the villa is outstanding - across the nature reserve and out towards the sea and further along the coast to armaceo de pera. The sunsets were stunning. The sun terrace has plenty room to relax with loungers and patio furniture. From here we also enjoyed watching the horses being trained at the on site stables and heading out/coming back from treks. The terrace also has views to the nature reserve and out to sea. The grounds themselves are immaculate and we enjoyed sitting round the pools in the sunshine - there are two to choose from - (also in pristine condition) . The maid service was excellent - she even set the wood burning stove ready for us to light on our return to the villa after a day exploring! We certainly hope to return to the villa for a future holiday - we have been lots of holidays to the algarve and this was definitely one of the best places we have stayed. We would most definitely recommend this to friends.

We live in Hertfordshire with our 13 year old Standard Schnauzer called Tilly. We enjoy walking with our dog especially in our local country park.

We first holidayed in Portugal in the mid eighties when our children were young, we happened to stay at the Quinta for the first time a few years later and fell in love with its unique character. We bought Casa Amendoeira in 1989 and have spent many years lovingly updating it but allowing it to remain quintessentially Portugese. We have seen our children grow up on many holidays there and have made great friends with other families who holiday at the Quinta.

Now our grandchildren are experiencing the Quinta and loving it as much as our children did. It is quite simply our home from home

During July and August we can only accept bookings on a Thursday to Thursday basis.
Between November and March we charge for heating and logs if used.
If an additional bed is required this is charged at £30 per week.

Casa Amendoeira has a prime position on the Quinta enjoying not only the best views but easy accessibility to all facilities whilst remaining private and tranquil.

The views to Carlos Beach are unforgettable, one never tires of sitting on the terrace in the evening watching the sunset whilst enjoying a glass of wine. Often you will see the horses returning from their ride to the beach or the Shepherd returning with his herd of goats for the night.
