Colfax Cottage se encuentra fuera del Beachwalk Resort, a solo unos pasos de la playa de Sheridan y se convertirá rápidamente en su hogar lejos del hogar. Las 3 habitaciones pueden alojar cómodamente hasta 6 con una suite principal King ubicada en el primer piso con un baño adjunto de 3/4, una habitación queen en el segundo nivel con un baño adjunto de 3/4 y una habitación doble también ubicada en el segundo nivel, con un baño completo adjunto. El nivel principal también alberga un 1/2 baño adicional independiente para uso compartido. El espacio abierto con cocina completa y muchos asientos para cenar o relajarse junto a la chimenea hacen de Colfax Cottage un favorito. ¡El interior de esta casa no es la única gran parte de este alquiler, abre las puertas de la terraza y entra a otro espacio habitable! Este amplio espacio de cubierta sirve como sala de estar familiar al aire libre con asientos, mesas y parrilla.

Colfax Cottage, ofrece un amplio estacionamiento en la calle para 3 vehículos, que puede ser bastante difícil de encontrar en una comunidad de playa. El acceso a la playa está a pocos pasos, a solo unos minutos en automóvil del zoológico de Washington Park, Marina y Light House. Restaurantes y bares también están a poca distancia en coche, junto con tiendas de descuento.
No olvides que Michigan City también ofrece huertos para recoger manzanas o arándanos, un distrito artístico repleto de antigüedades y pequeñas tiendas familiares.
Para aquellos de ustedes que disfrutan de un tiempo lejos de los niños, el Blue Chip Casino ofrece restaurantes, un club nocturno y un spa de servicio completo. New Buffalo también tiene tours de bodegas disponibles para reservar durante toda la semana.

Great overall house for a long weekend on the lake. Not an actual lake view, but a very short 2 minute walk to the beach. Quick drive or 15 minute walk to the park / pier area. Both upstairs bedrooms have skylights, making it feel more spacious.

The rental house in Michigan City was very clean and had everything my husband, and two friends needed. The deck is nice for outdoor activities. We played cards at the table on the deck. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were more than we needed, but it was worth the extra cost to get such easy beach access. A quick 2-3 minute walk and we were walking on the beach. Good views of the pier and lighthouse but very private. Only saw 10-15 people on the beach the 3 times we were down there. The TV had Netflix and YouTube. There was only the one tv in the living room. No big deal. Overall, I recommend this rental.

Great to have three bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom and then of course the extra half bath on the first floor. Deck space outdoor with grill an added bonus! TV could be replaced w a smart TV, was virtually unusable and could not stream anything. Lovely overall accommodations.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was in a good location, clean but dated a bit, and lacked several important amenities. There was only 1 television in the house that didn’t work properly. There were not enough linens provided. 1 towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 face towel per guest. The mattresses in the third bedroom were really hard and could have benefited from a decent mattress cover. Lastly, there was only 1 key provided which we were able to work around but it was inconvenient.

Great cottage next to lake

Would recommend! Perfect budget friendly cottage for a stay next to the beach. We loved the beach wagon provided. However no beach chairs or beach towels, so bring your own. Quick drive into new Buffalo to check out Michigan.

Reviewer Comments: We were coming in from out of town for the weekend and received the call that our rental was no longer available because of a gas leak, but this company was professional and already had another property available for the weekend and quickly moved us to the new location and I would say it was a great location and beautiful cottage and would definitely not only recommend but will likely book this cottage when we are back in town.

Great location and nice layout. Just needs some TLC requiring light maintenance and repairs. Old smart TV in living area that requires updating. Numerous light bulbs out. Lock box should be mounted and not hung on the door handle. It can easily be stolen and opened elsewhere. A keypad entry lock makes more sense. Shower heads should be replaced with an adjusted spray unit. Somebody needs to provide a more critical eye on the condition of the property.

Otherwise, pics are a bit deceiving as they leave the impression that there is an unobstructed view from the door, rather than a big house. Thank you for supplying firewood. In off season, consider stocking as a routine courtesy. Door lock was problematic but mgmt and maintenance were very responsive.
