Our annual girls trip to Aruba was nothing short of spectacular, and Shiribana exceeded all expectations. From the moment we reached out about our early arrival at 11am, the hospitality was evident. Despite the standard check-in time being 4pm, the owner graciously accommodated us for a 3pm check-in, a much-needed relief after starting our journey at 3am that morning. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Wouter, the property manager, who went above and beyond to familiarize us with every aspect of the house. His assistance was invaluable, ensuring our stay got off to a smooth start. Although we encountered a minor hiccup with a power outage the following morning, Wouter's swift response was exemplary. With just one call, he promptly investigated the issue, discovering downed power lines in the area. Thanks to his quick action, power was restored within a mere five minutes, allowing us to continue our adventures without disruption. Throughout our stay, we explored many of the recommended spots outlined in the house guide. While some were definite winners, such as Gusto's for a night of unforgettable clubbing, others fell short of expectations. "Driftwood," despite its glowing reviews, left us underwhelmed, particularly in regard to its seafood offerings. However, amidst our explorations, we stumbled upon the true gem of our trip: the Quadriki caves. Excellent set up for our family of 7. The outdoor patio area was amazing and enjoyed by all.

Our stay at Caribbean Cozy Cove

My girlfriend Lynn and I stayed at the Caribbean Cozy Cove for 10 days and it was a great experience. Maria and Judy were exceptional during our stay and helped out with everything we inquired about. We felt very secure in the property and enjoyed the entire outdoor living space with the fantastic lighting and pool. We love the island of Aruba and its beautiful people. When we decide to return for a 3rd visit, Caribbean Cozy Cove will be at the top of our list if they have the opening. Our best vacation yet! Thank you all!!

Wonderful Stay - Easy to be at this Location - Aruba is one happy island!

We loved the central location of the dwelling and of course the Bright Bakery around the corner was second to none we have visited in many years..... We we never more than a 20 minutes drive from any of the 15 or 20 beaches and we visited a number of them. Check-in and Check-out was so easy and the attending house minders were so very helpful and attentive. Having a 2 space carport was appreciated, the sun does warm the cars quickly. The house was very nice and spacious. The bedrooms allowed evening privacy and the bathrooms were a sizable and quite nice. The pool and outdoor space was a consensus favorite of the family.

Great Aruba vacation!

This was a great house for us- 5 adults with room to hang together or in separate rooms. We loved the privacy wall that made it feel like our own private oasis. This was our 3rd trip to Aruba- the other times we stayed at an all- inclusive- and we really liked exploring the island more and having our own private pool to relax in afterwards. The on line pictures of the home were accurate. I loved the fact there was a washer and dryer onsite for our 2 week stay. This home is on a beach but we new that going in. It's only a short 10-15 minute drive to any beach on the island. The owner David was very responsive to all our queries.

Family Vacation

We’re a family of 5 (2 adults, a17 year old daughter and 19 year old son and 22 year old daughter) my wife and I booked this house for 8 days. We come from the states and usually stay in a hotels when we travel. I figured we would try a house this time. This particular house was very clean, spacious, private and has a great exterior, just like the photos online. The property manager met us there and gave us a house tour. The pool is about 4’ deep at the shallow end and 5’ at the deep end , it was a good size and we didn’t have to share with strangers lol. A great place to relax especially after long hot days at the beach. The owner David helped us with the car rental (the price was very reasonable) he was very accessible to us with answers to a questions tips about the island via e-mail. David encourage us to download the “What’s App“ on all of our cell phones. This allowed to keep in contact with the kids when needed. The house is completely enclosed within a suburb community, and is equipped with a full security monitoring system. The neighborhood is very safe, we where comfortable allowing our kids at the house and come and go as the please as we went out. I highly recommend The Flying Fishbone and Madam Jeanette's for dinner, the food was excellent. Renting this house was a completely different experience than we are used too. It was much roomier than your standard hotel room. We are looking forward to planning our next trip back to Aruba and hope to stay at this property again.

Vacation stay in Aruba - Superb!

The property delivered a very satisfying stay. Kitchen provided all the necessities plus. The bedrooms were large, clean, and comfortable. Best of all was the outdoor covered patio, fully furnished with big screen TV and refrigerator, and of course the pool. An absolutely delightful stay! Landscaping was well groomed, and fun! Outdoor shower was a bonus. Want to go back like...now! Property had all the amenities you could ask for. This is a place I would recommend to anyone and everyone I know. Only a ten minute drive to the airport or the hotel/casino strip.

Great spot to relax for a week.

Brenda and David were wonderful and thoughtful hosts, emailing at multiple intervals to get us ready. Dishes, cooking supplies, linens and towels were plentiful. Amazing outdoor dining area. Master suite is also really, really nice. Great neighborhood for New Years fireworks, and easily accessible grocery shopping. one small suggestion for hosts- maybe include a map, not just written directions in the welcome packet that guests are emailed? two tips for shoppers/guests - place really sleeps 7-7.5, not 8, unless two people are ok in the side house. I sort of missed that there was no dishwasher - but that's my bad.

Our Own Piece Of Paradise

Hats off to VRBO and this property. It was great, located in a quiet residential area near the center of the island. We loved the privacy, it was totally gated in with a solid structure wall. The Décor was impeccable. We loved the outdoor dining area and used it quite a bit during our 11 day stay. The pool was a nice size. We used it quite a bit in the afternoon after mornings spent at the beach. The outdoor area was surrounded with tropical plants, this is a find compared to other properties we have stayed at on this island. It was extremely clean and well kept. We spent many days at the house enjoying the never-ending breeze of Aruba as the wind blew threw the front screen door of this house which indeed had a lush tropical feel. We used the grill on only two of the days and although the electric igniter switch didn't work it lit easily with the hand lighter that was left for us. We also did find 6 new beach chairs in a cabinet in the laundry room (in response to the previous review). We have been to the island many times before so we were familiar with the roads. they are really not hard to navigate after a few attempts. The property managers were great in helping us out with anything we needed. An experience lacking on prior visits with a lot of our family vacation rentals worldwide They were only a phone call away for anything we needed. Although we did not spend to much time inside the house we would be remiss to mention the great master bedroom and the nice size of the indoor living space. We did not need that back apartment referred to as a maids quarters, but would not hesitate to come back with another couple as it was right there in the back of the house off the deck. It was a cute extension of the house. We look forward to a future trip back to Aruba and we certainly will be booking this house for our stay. This truly was a Caribbean Cozy Cove that we enjoyed fully and plan on rebooking for our next stay in Aruba.

Lovely place in beautiful Aruba

Not ever being in Aruba we had no idea where the place was . Except for he dirt road which was surprising ,the place was lovely and very clean Backyard area was beautiful. Grill needs to be fixed and pool is great, but gets very dirty every day because of the wind. Being the first renters by the new owners we were the Guinea pigs. We suggest u get beach chairs at least 4 as it is very expensive to rent everything for a day. Need a real good map toas it is somewhat easy to get lost .Maybe it is being we were all women. Property managers very cooperative. Thanks Dave we had a great time Would go back again

As business and property owners who have lived in the icy cold winters of Western New York and dealing with the lake effect snows, David and Brenda have a dream to eventually buy a little bar somewhere along the beach and enjoy "retirement" in Aruba. Both of us had a Caribbean dream and stumbled upon the island of Aruba as a port stop off of a cruise the day after our engagement. We hopped on a public bus in which we struck up a conversation with an islander who suggested for us to walk along the tourist area of Eagle beach because we only had a few hours on the Island. What then led to our marriage along that same beach, with 43 our dearest family and friends turned into a return celebration for our first anniversary one year later. Upon leaving the island on our first year anniversary, we knew that Aruba would be our future residence. During the next year we suffered one of the worst winters dumping over six feet of snow over the Western New York area and we became restless. During that time we started researching properties in Aruba in our spare time. When we arrived for our second anniversary we both dug in full speed ahead and spent four days looking at all the properties we researched and on the last day walked into this beautiful Caribbean Cozy Cove. As our mouths dropped open, Brenda began to cry and we both knew that this was our future home.

We purchased this property because of it's immaculate condition, and have hired the best property management team on the island to service and maintain it on every level, because we do intend to live in this property one day when we retire. This property is centrally located in a quiet residential area and is only a mere 11-14 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of all the beach activities and nightlife filled with tourist activities. MAY I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU to enjoy the nightlife and tourist areas but please don't let it steal all of your vacation because there are so many things this island has to offer, from the sites of ancient ruins in it's national park which includes beautiful beaches which are a magnificent site for the eyes to behold. One with polished black rocks where the you'll view the trade winds blow the waters a mile high into the sky. These beaches are 11 minutes in the opposite direction of the tourist area, they are what we believe are Aruba's best kept secret. Jeep tours are done in that area on a daily basis there. Which also leads me to another one of Aruba's best kept secrets which you can see from right outside your villa, which is the majestic Hooiberg (haystack) mountain less than a half mile from the property, which features a staircase leading to the top where the entire island for your eyes to embrace (Bring your Binoculars) . The neighborhood which surrounds this villa features it's own island at charm in which you should definitely take advantage of. It's a safe area to take a walk, where you may even be inclined to strike up a conversation with a few of the locals on the way , and may I say they are such a kind easy going people, so proud of their culture, naming this Aruba (One Happy Island). You will rarely see a face without a smile . This home is located within a very short walking distance to neighborhood pubs and eateries along with one of the islands most famous local bakery (a great suggestion for breakfast).

David fell in love with the spacious outdoor dining area leading to the deck and pool. Whether it's for a few days or a week long trip to paradise this house is perfect for you to relax and give you the platform to enjoy all the amenities Aruba has to offer. We also would suggest that you rent a car. We feel without it you will miss out on seeing many of this islands treasures. Although there is a bus route and many taxis available your experience of the island will be far better with your own vehicle.
