We loved out stay here. The location was great, the pool magnificent and the house warm and inviting. We definitely needed a car to get around. The vacation was absolutely wonderful.

From the moment we checked in, Agnes was incredibly responsive and welcoming. We felt right at home with all the amenities of the house. The pool, distance to the beach and town were excellent. We truly felt like it was home away from home!! We will definitely be back for another trip!!

We had a good stay. The house has a large open concept kitchen and living room. It was great to come back from the busy beaches and enjoy some quiet pool time. The High rise resorts, Hadicurari and Palm Beach are a 8-20 min walk, but a rental car or taxi is needed for other beaches you may want to check out. There are many restaurants within a 25 min walk. We had some weather related travel issues and the host was very responsive and helpful.Overall a good experience.

Great property for the family

We loved this location and proximity to the beach, Ritz and other craziness for the downtown area. The property has everything we needed for the week and the pool was great to have for the kids.

Fantastic house!

We had a wonderful stay in Aruba at this house. It was exactly as shown in the pictures, was a short walk to the beach out the back gate, and in a beautiful and quiet area. The hosts were very responsive, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Great place

The house is excellent condition. It has a great layout and amenities. We enjoyed the big living room, spacious bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, and the pool with patio. The property is five minute walk from the Aruba Racquet club, which we also took advantage of.

A beautiful home with a well equipped kitchen and everything you need for fun at the beach. A beautiful saltwater pool and incredible back deck. Very private, very comfortable! Great music via Alexa Sonos – can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Property and Location

We absolutely loved our stay at 210 Opal. Beautiful and very clean. The location was perfect and near the high rise section. Tom and Agnes were very responsive to answer any questions that I had. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this. When we return to Aruba, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making our vacation perfect!

Beautiful Aruba Home

This home is comfortable, beautiful, clean and located in a safe quiet neighborhood. It’s close to the beach, hotels, restaurants and the racquet club. The pool is the best part, very relaxing!! The host is friendly and extremely helpful. It is perfect! I recommend it and I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home away from home minutes from the beach

Well maintained, clean, and spacious. A full kitchen, and bbq for preparing meals. The beach is an easy 5ish minute walk from the back gate. Chair and umbrella rentals were available on the beach between the Ritz and Hilton. Numerous options for all manner of water sports rentals, activities, etc all within walking distance. We enjoyed the ability to take advantage of all the beach/resort atmosphere had to offer while having our own private sanctuary to retire to afterwards. The pool and patio area was a great spot to enjoy a quiet family meal with a view of the sunset.

Great place

We loved our stay at this property. It is so close to the beach - an easy 5 minute walk through a lovely bird sanctuary. The lap pool in the back yard was a great way to cool off at the end of the day. The host was easy to contact and was very helpful. The house is fully equipped and nicely furnished. We highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Noord.

Situated in a great location - super clean - spacious three bedrooms and three bathrooms - beautiful pool - beautiful home inside and out - convenience of a washer and dryer and even has beach chairs to use. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

Awesome Home In Aruba

My family and I stayed 8 days at this home. It is just as lovely as the pictures show it to be. The home was perfect and so relaxing. We all enjoyed the pool. The home has everything you need to make yourself feel st home. The location is perfect and it is only a 3-5 minute drive to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet. We had a wonderful time enjoying this home and will stay again.

Beautiful Noord Home

We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home right at the far edge of the high rise district in a quiet neighborhood. Super convenient location- a quick and very nice/safe walk across the bird sanctuary to the beach road. The house was perfect-spacious with lots of sitting/dining space. Every possible amenity you could need, plenty of beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and a cooler! Tom was a great host- very communicative and responsive with lots of helpful suggestions for enjoying the island as it was our first time in Aruba. Highly recommend this vacation home.

Great communication with our hosts Agnes & Tom, very responsive to whatever questions we had. Description of property is very accurate, our party of 4 adults had more than enough room to move around freely and enjoy our lovely accommodations. Though we elected to eat out every meal, this property has a well appointed kitchen. Beautiful pool with seating options for full sun or full shade. Out the back gate is a 5 minute walk to the beach. We used Aruba Taxi for transportation from the property and if you call 15-30 minutes ahead they show up promptly at the time you request. We also walked around the neighborhood, a lot and often in the dark and never felt uncomfortable. Terrific first visit to Aruba.

Aruba review

House was roomy and clean. Had lots of pots, pans, dishes etc. Had a washer & dryer but you must supply your own detergent. The pool area was amazing! Can’t say enough good things about it…just outstanding! Lots of beach towels too. House is a convenient walk to the beach & high rise hotels. Unfortunately, the construction going on a couple lots down was rather disappointing. Hammers started at 7am. Definitely not the owners fault but it would have been nice to know.

So sorry the workers awoke you. Unfortunately we have no control over when or how neighbors install pools. There is no advance warning which could have prevented this. We wish you would have rated us on our property and not based your ranking on something that was not in our control.

Did Not Enjoy the Cameras and Being Spied On

The Host had multiple cameras on the property and did not disclose on listing. I contacted VRBO and they delisted this property... and now they are listed in the description. Is it just me, or do you not like having you and your family spied on while vacationing? That's what happened to us. Listing was also vague regarding having visitors on the property. We had close friends renting a house down the street. We had them over, they had us over. Tom said that's a no-no meaning your visitors are "guests", even though obviously they did not stay. Kept entire deposit. Was something damaged? Hardly, we left the place super clean. All laundry was done and placed in required spots (yes...required). No, Tom made up a story about an upset neighbor which was totally bogus because we we friendly with her and her pets (Penny and Nickle). We were never up late (we have small children). Tom even suggested that our visitors parked across the street to allude the cameras which is weird because: 1. they were still in plain sight of the front door camera, 2. the back pole area camera sees everything (including visitors), 3. why would my friends care about any of this? 4. this was an admission that Host was using cameras in a prohibited fashion, and 5. it's just creepy. Getting checkout instructions the day before checkout that require all bedding and towels be washed and dried and placed in required spots is beyond ridiculous... what's the cleaning fee for? As a host on VRBO and other apps, I can say with certainty that Tom is sure to disappoint in the future. Who wants to be recorded and sacrifice their privacy, especially on vacation? Who wants to do the cleaners' job? Oh and just assume that Tom will interpret the poorly written language in his rental contract to justify keeping you security deposit. Not much guest can do. Aruba is great... stay somewhere else.

Rules are made to be followed not broken. The insurance and liability consequences of unregistered guests are enormous. Aruba also requires a Hotel license for 8 or more guests. This property is listed for no more than 4 adults and 6 guests total. The tenant agreement is very clear "no guests, friends, visitors etc. at ANY time". to say you were unaware is absurd. Also security cameras were listed in the rules section which VRBO acknowledged after review and only requested to list them in the description. The tenant was well aware there were cameras as I discussed when checking in. The cameras were disabled by his own admission. Cameras are not monitored unless a problem is reported. In this case the neighbor contacted us that there were multiple children in the pool yelling and screaming and that another family had parked their jeep in front of her house as to hide it from sight. Vrbo was then contacted to intervene in the matter. This violation could have resulted in eviction. Instead we took Vrbo's advice and let the tenants stay and fined their actions. We also requested to do their own clean up because we had no knowledge of how many people were actually using the home. This home is a primary home located in a private HOA community of mostly American owners. All of which help look after one another. All 5 star reviews except from the one party that broke the rules and were caught. Hmm do the math. And you're right not much you can do when you're caught!
