Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great family vacation at this home in Avian Forest. The home was clean and cooled down on our arrival. The home was as described- it’s large! We had plenty of room and enjoyed the neighborhood pool and easy access to Litchfield By the Sea. It’s hard to find a rental that welcomes dogs, but this experience was easy to bring our little fur baby. I would definitely rent this property again!

Great Location for a relaxing vacation

We were able to bring our senior fur baby with us. The unit met our needs. We have been renting from Tidelife for many years. They are a great rental company to rent from!

All was wonderful

Beautiful place and area. Nothing wrong or bad to say beside one thing which has nothing to do with our unit but the building next to ours. There was a large family and they were smoking marijuana heavily. They arrived sometime around Saturday and that is when we smelled it.

The staff took personal care of all our reservation requests and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The unit we rented was perfect in décor, equipment, location & amenities. We have used other rental companies before and didn't get the service and pleasant attitude that Tidlife provided....they were genuine!Thank you for assisting in making Thanksgiving full of Thanks!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are snow birds so we were here for an extended stay of several months. This is our first time staying away from the beach. This condo is very nice; comfy beds and lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked. Best of all, it is dog friendly. With access to LBTS and the pool right here, it's a great place when we had guests come to visit. We wouldn't rent from anyone other than Tidelife. No matter the need, they are quick to help and genuinely care about their customers.

Great Condo!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is larger than it appears online and we had plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 teenagers. We were immediately impressed with the space and cleanliness and loved the layout. The new flooring was a great upgrade. It had plenty of kitchen supplies and we cooked dinner all but one night. The condo pool is just outside the unit which was so convenient. The beach is a short drive away but not difficult and access to Litchfield Resort took the stress away to find public parking. They also have a great family pool, especially for little ones (splash pad/lazy river). I had a few questions prior to my stay and Suzanne/staff were fantastic to answer them quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was very nice, but could be fantastic with some TLC. Ants were still an issue. Master bathroom sink drains very slowly, several minor issues issues like that... BUT we would totally stay again for the benefit of bringing our pup. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Pool was closed (thanks covid-19). We were informed that the unit is now for sale which is probably why owner hasn't kept up with minor issues. We enjoyed our stay!

Pawley's Island Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to the Pawley's Island area for years with our family. Years ago we stayed in Avian Forest, and decided to stay there again this year. We loved that this unit allowed us to bring along our daughter and son in law's dog. The unit location was great, so close to the pool. The pool was very clean and we enjoyed relaxing in it every day. The unit was appropriately furnished for our family, and we were able to find everything we needed. I would suggest that someone take a look at the dryer in the unit. The drum on the dryer caught edges of wash cloths and strings on swim suits, and created a burned spot on them. We stopped using the dryer after this happened twice. The unit was not very clean. There was dirt in the corners, and the floors were not very clean. The carpet in the bedrooms was vacuumed, however, it had stains. Some of the backs on the chairs at the large dining table are very loose. Our children notice visible mold on the ceiling in the jack and jill bathroom of the unit, most likely caused by the exhaust fan not working. I think with a little TLC this property would be a perfect vacation home away from home.

Nice place- a few minor flaws

Proximity to beach (5 minute drive) excellent. Home was clean and well maintained. A few flaws: 1) missing key to club car; 2) one key to front door not correct key (but they provided spares); 3) Fridge light not working; 4) stove light- temperature indicators- impossible to read- had to guess- maintenance said they'd recommend a new stove to owners; 5) first night the unit next to us had a party of at least 20. Loud and noisy til 130 AM. Thought group parties were not allowed? I realize this last issue was not rental or owners issue but certainly a condo community issue. Location was very nice and rentals response was quick but these issues kept it from being 4-5 rated. Maybe we were in a 'renters section' as other units nearby seemed more satisfactory.

Too Far From the Beach

Loved the golf cart but the location is much farther from the beach than we had expected. We took the golf cart to Litchfield by the Sea and almost didn't make it back before the battery was drained. We were under the impression when we booked this property that it would be closer to the beach. For the price we paid, it should have been in a better location in my opinion.

TideLife Vacation Rentals were great to work with and so helpful with our arrangements. The unit was clean and just waiting for us to arrive. It is very spacious and the layout is so convenient. It is especially ideal for families with teens, or for several couples vacationing together.The golf cart that was available for us to use was definitely a bonus! We LOVED the fact that our furry four-legged family member was able to enjoy the trip as much as we did. We hope to vacation here again!

Very spacious

But I emailed the company , there are a lot of ants inside the Unit on the kitchen countertop coming from somewhere in the corner . We noticed the first night at night didn’t say anything saw the second day , emailed the company heads up there’s ants and never heard anything The decor is worn out , carpet is very old but a very lovely condo that has a lot of potential The pool was not open , we had no idea Of your looking for a beach vacation this condo is not for you I would stay across highway 17 We were 1.5 miles away So I would recommend this condo complex but not our unit but again if you want to be close to a beach this is not the complex for you

Same weekend last year and again this year but never again.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The space accommodates us very well. However, the problems that I addressed in my review of this unit last year have not been fixed leading me to assume the owners just don’t care that: shutters are broken, upholstery is worn and torn down to the foam underneath. Additionally there is only one dish towel in the kitchen, the master bathroom was dirty, the smoke detectors are missing their covers (are they even working?), the oven display can’t be read and we were not informed that the pool was closed. We will look for a different unit next year.
