‣ Check-in guaranteed not before than 16.00h and until 18.00h. Access to the facilities as pool, garden ecc are possible only after check in procedure.

‣ Check-out by 9:00 am.

As required by Italian national laws, guests are recognized in person upon check-in. For this reason, check-ins will not be accepted at times when the staff cannot carry out this recognition.
After 20.00h , check in will be delayed to the morning after between 9.00 and 10.00 am.

‣ Heating ( on a pay per use basis) : 1.90 euros per hour. There is a thermostat with hour counter inside the apartment to allow the guests using it when they prefer. Period by law for heating use: 1 st November - 15 April .

‣ Washing machine: 5 euros / wash

‣ Extral change of towels and linen ( on request) : 16 euros per person

‣ Pool towels ( on request) : 5 euros / each .Pool towels are not included in the towel set,so must be booked before the arrival date. If pool towels are not booked in advance we cannot guarantee to provide them.

‣ Baby cot with sheets and towels ( on request - limited availability ) : 50 Euros - to pay locally and to book before arrival

‣ Highchair : ( on request - limited availability ) : 18 Euros - to pay locally and to book before arrival.

‣ Close to the local town Casole ( 1 km) , reachble also by walking

‣ Pool open from April 1st till October 30th (opening may vary depending on weather conditions). Opening time 8.00 - 19.30 .

‣The baby sitter recommendation does not guarantee her immediate availability. She is not an employee of Monti 1824 but a freelancer. I recommend making contact well in advance of the date of your stay to have a better chance of availability.

‣ Guests will find only upon arrival a starter kit with some courtesy products to start their stay : toilet paper roll ( 2) , hand soap, dish soap, a few dishwasher tablets.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDDEN

-introuduce people not included in the reservation and not recorded as Mont1824 's guests inside the estate (swimming pool, garden, apartment and parking)

-smoking inside the accommodation

-light candles of any kind inside the accommodation

Gorgeous house, area, perfect hostess!

I cannot say enough good things about this rental property! Everything was clean, fresh, and well organized. The location in the rolling hills of Tuscany was unbelievable! Federica was the kindest, most helpful and gracious hostess. She even located a restaurant in the nearby village where our son could eat safely with his allergies, which was a huge relief on the night we arrived! The booking process was so easy with Federica, and she responded promptly to any questions we had. The house was quiet and the proximity to nearby sights was just perfect! You won't want to leave when you stay here!

Lovely accommodation in the Tuscan hills.

A welcoming hostess provides lots of helpful information about the locality. The accommodation itself is very clean and was great for our party of six. The pool was particularly welcome in the summer heat (we stayed in early July) and has fine views across the countryside. The local town of Casole d’Elsa has a number of good restaurants and is a 20 - 30 minute walk away, some of the walk being uphill. There is a good selection of shops (e.g. butcher, grocer etc.) and a supermarket for your food and provisions. We ate out in the town for three evenings and would recommend Dal Brigante, which has a terrace with lovely views. There are lots of other towns and villages to explore comfortably within an hour’s drive, plus of course Siena itself which is just over an hour away.

Lovers of Tuscany

When we arrived, Federica’s mother, Patrizia, greeted us. She was very helpful informing us about the house, Mandorlo. The home was very well equipped with all kitchen items necessary to prepare meals. AC was not available, but was not necessary, however fans were available. One of the best things about Podere Monti is the location. So many of the beautiful hill towns are within short distances of the farm. Federica’s book provides much information about the area. Parking was easy. We could pull right up to house to load and unload. Afternoon views from the pool area were incrediable. Property was beautiful and flowers everywhere. In the old town, we had several great meals at Trattoria Casolani with Nicolo. Federica and Patrizia were wonderful host and recommend a stay at Podere Monti.

Einfache, aber saubere Unterkunft

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin mit einer sehr nett aufbereiteten Übersicht über das, was man sehen kann und sollte (inkl Tipps für Weinverkostung!). Unterkunft sehr einfach (kein Radio, kein Fernsehen, Betten insbesondere Matrazen ein wenig zu alt. Decken (es war leider kalt)… naja, Toskanisch halt. Gegend ist sehr interessant.

Fantastisch verblijf met veel rust en schoonheid

We hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad. Met 2 gezinnen in 1 accommodatie ging perfect. De service was top en de communicatie verloopt heel vlot via mobiel en whatsapp. Ideaal dus. De omgeving is top, fantastische restaurants, geweldige wijnen en niet overladen met toeristen. Kortom, als je van Toscane, Italië, lekker eten en rust houdt zit je hier helemaal op je plek. Wij hebben echt genoten!

This place was magical.

Our stay at Casa Podere Monti was fantastic. Our host, Federica was always there when we had questions and was quick to respond to our requests, even when she was not on the property. The views over the Tuscan rolling hills will never be forgotten. The apartment was well stocked with dishes and kitchen utensils and the property was well kept and clean. We loved the location! We could easily walk into the small village of Casole d’Elsa which turned our to be one of our favorite Tuscan towns. There was such a local feel, but plenty of good restaurants and shops. The location was also an easy car ride to Sienna, numerous wineries , river walks and several other charming Tuscan villages. One of the best parts was knowing that after we had been out all day and came back hot and tired, we could jump into the refreshing pool that overlooked the Tuscan hills. A bonus was visiting with all of the other guests who came from a multitude of countries. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we highly recommend this rental to anyone who would like a true Tuscan experience.

Wir hatten eine schöne,saubere Unterkunft . Alles war sehr gepflegt in der Wohnung. Die Ausenanlagen .. Garten und Pool waren auch sehr nett hergerichtet. Jeden Tag am Vormittag und am Abend besuchte uns eine Katze die auch dort lebt 🤗. Angenehm ist auch das die Liegen am Pool den Wohnungen zugeteilt sind und so keine Missverständnisse aufkommen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich . Wir haben uns bis zum letzten Tag wohl gefühlt.

Great base for Tuscany

Federica and her family were great hosts; Federica provided a really useful book giving details of local towns, sites, restaurants and shops, she was also available if you needed additional advice. The property itself is great, very accurately described. I found email contact very good, she got back to me promptly, and her English is very good. Ruime woning, 2 badkamers, goed uitgerust en een mooi eigen terras!

Onze woning bestond eigenlijk uit een 4 persoons en een 2 persoons huis. Daardoor hadden we ook 2 badkamers en 2 keukens. Een mooi echt Italiaans huis. Keuken goed uitgerust, incl vaatwasser. Leuk eigen terras met tuintafel en 6 stoelen. Zwembad op het park is heerlijk. De eigenaren zijn hele aardige mensen, je hebt vooral met Federica te maken en zij spreekt perfect Engels. Je kunt haar op ieder tijdstip van de dag benaderen. Er is een wasmachine voor algemeen gebruik, tegen kosten, maar heel handig. De omgeving is prachtig en rustig. Ons huisje had geen airco, wel stonden er 3 blowers die we op volle toeren hebben laten werken vanwege de hoge temperaturen. Wij vinden het park meer geschikt voor volwassenen dan voor (kleine) kinderen. Er is voor hen niets te doen, behalve het zwembad. Al met al: een mooi en verzorgde locatie in prachtig Toscane!!

Warm and beautifulTuscan villa

We stayed the first week of March . The place is clean and you have everything you need for cooking. Excellent place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at Podere Monti Mandorlo . Federicaa and her family could not have been more welcoming. We had three couples and did day trips to surrounding towns and Florence. There was a festival in town while we visited and so things were quite lively. The surrounding towns and wineries along with the good food at the various restaurants in Casole..

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Podere Monti! Federica & her Mom were warm and welcoming, and very helpful in guiding us through the area and offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. The home is a charming mix of old world charm and modern comforts. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds had down comforters. Bathrooms were clean and modern, with good lighting. The location was nice and central, with easy access to popular Tuscan sites.

Wonderful Experience

Just returned from the wonderful Podere Monti with my wife and friends - only wish it could have been longer! All the amazing reviews are true.Nestled right in the middle of fabulous Tuscany countryside this beautiful medieval villa has it all and with style. Lovingly restored, Federica and her family have turned this farmhouse into a superb holiday retreat. The service given by Federica is second to none and everything written on his website is exactly as it is - he has a real passion to help guests to make sure they have a wonderful holiday . Everywhere in the villa is spotlessly clean. Many other guests seem to return here and it's easy to see why - we'll be back.

Perfect stay

Had an absolutely perfect stay at this place. We wanted quiet countryside and we found it, but with easy access to the sites and important places to visit in Tuscany.

Beautiful and relaxing

We had an amazing stay here. Frederica was an excellent host she was helpful and made our stay so uncomplicated (always a bonus when travelling with 3 kids!!) She provided loads of helpful tips on the area which we used when we went to the beach, and we used the free parking she recommended when we drove to Florence. She also booked our tickets to the gallery we wanted to visit. The local village was so pretty and only a short walk away. The kitchen was very well equiped and we made several meals during our stay. None of us wanted to leave!!

Very good value for money hotel

We stayed here 7 nights to explore San Gimignano and surrounding areas. The house was great value for money. Good comfortable rooms and bathrooms, very equipped kitchen, good beds. Casole can be reached in a 10 minutes walk on a back road just outside of the farm.
