El apartamento está situado en la parte superior cuarto / piso del bloque de apartamentos (con 2 ascensores) - esto ofrece buenas vistas y la brisa fresca. El complejo cuenta con recepción 24 horas, acceso a Internet Wifi, una junto a la piscina restaurante / bar y una lavandería. El apartamento está equipado con una cocina recién reformada y bien equipada. El cuarto de baño ha sido renovado con un nuevo plato de ducha .Hay un terreno estupendo para relajarse y un montón de tumbonas alrededor de la piscina de 25 metros que tiene una nueva superficie que rodea antideslizante. El complejo se encuentra en una zona tranquila, a sólo 5 minutos a pie de supermercados, líneas de autobuses, playas y bar en la playa (con los deportes de satélite de TV), centro médico, bancos, canchas de tenis y un montón de restaurantes. Alquiler de coches no es neccessary debido a la excelente situación.

Host Heather had fantastic communication and her assistant was so kind and helpful. This place is situated in a convenient spot as long as you are ok with a decent 10-15 minute walk to beach and restaurants with an incline on the way back to it. Extremely safe place as i was a solo female traveller for my first time. Extremely breezy apt. Very spacious and i didn’t need to run the ac at all. The grounds are taken care of very well. Security and front desk are very friendly as well. All of Barbados was friendly. I really enjoyed my stay. I just wish there were more local food in this town, very American style menus.

A great week in Holetown

The apartment is an excellent location, only a 5 minute walk to the shops, bars, restaurants & beach.There were always plenty of loungers around the pool (though parasols might be useful in the heat!) & the communal gardens were nice & well maintained.The apartment was perfect & had all the amenities we needed for a week away.We would fully recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this holiday apartment in Holetown. Heather, the owner, was fantastic throughout the booking process — her communication was clear and helpful, and she went above and beyond by sharing recommendations for restaurants, activities, and things to do in the area.The apartment’s pool area was a highlight: spacious, plenty of sunbeds, shaded spots when needed, and surrounded by beautiful gardens full of wildlife to watch. The location couldn’t be better, with Massy supermarket, bars, and restaurants all within easy walking distance.A great bonus is the included pass for the nearby beach club. We only used it once, but it’s a brilliant option if you want sunbeds and a pool right next to the beach.Overall, this apartment made our Barbados trip easy and enjoyable. We’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, relaxing base in Holetown.

Comfortable apartment in good location at Holetown.

The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable for both short and long stays. Less than 10 mins walk to the beach, restaurants, local supermarket etc. Beautiful, well kept gardens and pool. Temporary membership of the beach club is very useful too. Great communications from Heather (the owner) and Jan who lives on site. Would highly recommend.

Great Stay!

Stayed for 5 weeks at this lovely apartment. Heather is a great host. Lots of communication, before, during and after our trip. The apt is on the top floor with a breeze flowing through. Every room has a ceiling fan and there is a freestanding fan that you can move around. Very well equipped, the cool box is fantastic for the beach. Large fridge, comfy seats, modern tv, beautiful views from balcony! The gardens and pool at Golden View are kept very well, monkeys make an appearance virtually everday. We really enjoyed our stay, Thank you

Great place close to all amenities and beach

We had a lovely time revisiting Barbados. Heather was a very responsive host and check in was easy. The apartment was very clean and had all the basics. It was homely. The air conditioning (1 BBD for 2 hrs) wasn’t very effective but once we found out the ceiling fan had a faster speed we slept OK and didn’t need it. A breeze blows through as it is on the top floor. There is a great short cut to the supermarket so it takes under 10 mins walk and the beach club only 15 mins walk. The pool at Golden View was always very clean.

Thanks for your review Steven . Very disappointed that you felt like this . Never had a bad review before . You can tell by looking at the pictures that it is not dated and has an open kitchen and modern appliances unlike many in the block . Too much furniture is puzzling as there is only essentials. Re painting . I agree and this is scheduled for the off season during the summer . You had access to the beach club ,wifi and I allowed you to check out later for your flight . You only mention .the apartment . What about the lovely gardens and amazing pool and the situation so close to many amenities.? So I feel 2 star was very harsh

The perfect stay in Barbados

We had a wonderful time in Barbados. From the time of booking the owner was very helpful and friendly. She answered all of my questions promptly. The arrival process was also very easy. The agent was there to greet us and helped us get settled in. The apartment has anything you may need. The views from the fourth floor are fantastic. We saw monkeys in the gardens almost every day. We did not need the air con as there was always a nice breeze. We felt very safe at Golden View and and were able to walk into Holetown in minutes. All in all the perfect vacation. Great spot!

Heather's place was a great getaway with everything we needed for a fantastic stay in Barbados. The apartment is well furnished with modern furnishing, the internet was fast and reliable and the checkin process was easy. Dealing with Heather was a breeze! Although you have to pay for the AC, we found this not to be a problem at all as we rarely used it due to the great breeze that flows through the space and the tinted windows on the front. All in all, 5 stars! Thanks again!

Fab apartment

Just got back from a fabulous 2 week stay in this apartment, Heather was a dream to deal with she answered all of my questions(even when she was on holiday herself). Cy the manager was a star making sure we were settled in and also offering to take us shopping. The apartment itself had everything you could possibly need and everything was perfect for us, we loved sitting on the balcony at night relaxing. The complex is quiet but that suited us down to the ground everybody we met was friendly. When we visit the West Coast again there is no doubt we will be trying to book this apartment. We have stayed in these apartments before as its in a realy gool location,we use the yellow buses to get to the beach at st james paynes bay.The apartment has everything you would need aircon is to pay but we only used it at night it was so cheap as well!the pool and gardens are delightfull as are the staff.The apartments are very secure with 24hour reception and a laundry should you require it.Holetown is a fab place plenty places to eat try lome grove cocktail bar as well.We would definatley return to this apartment good holiday

Tranquil and idylic.

My husband is from B'dos and we have stayed at Golden View many times over the last 28 years. This was the first time we had stayed in this particular apartment which had been recommended by my sister. The apartment is excellent value for money, well equipped and benefits from large opening between kitchen and living area. Being on the third floor offer's an excellent view and additional benefits for a cooling breeze. It is quiet, comfortable and will book to stay here again on our next visit to the Island.

GOOD POSITION AND WELL EQUIPPED

The apartment is near some of the most beautiful beaches of the Island (even if we suggest to rent a car for having a look on the Whole Island). To reach the beach it takes about 10 minutes walking and about 5 to the small village and supermarket). Nice garden with swimming pool and Chinese restaurant. Well equipped kitchen and balcony having nice view. No night- life. Perfect for old people or a family with kids. .

We are a married couple in our late 60s. I am a retired teacher and my husband is a semi retired chartered accountant.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We bought the apartment for 2 reasons - to have somewhere to stay when visiting our grandchildren in Barbados and for the convenience of the situation. We are near all the amenities in one of the main holiday areas but in a quiet position.Everything you need is within walking distance. The gardens are great, being cool and shady and the pool is big enough for real swimming. As the apartments are only one bedroomed, the block tends to attract couples and is quite peaceful and alot of the apartments are not rented out ensuring that it is never very busy.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We particularly chose our apartment as it is on the top floor( with 2 lifts) and it has views over the trees to the sea and it catches all the through breezes making a/c usually unnecessary. In December 2009, the kitchen was refitted with new cabinets, fridge/ freezer and cooker. We have also knocked a wall down to make it more open plan which makes it cooler for cooking. The bathroom was modernised in May 2016 and now has a walk in shower. We have cable tv and wifi in the apartment. Our apartment renters are temporary members of the beach House for the duration of their stay . This includes a pool restaurant and beach access
