Great vacation home

We had a great time at this home. Everything we needed was available and the host was very hospitable and responsive. There were 9 of us and we felt very comfortable. An easy drive to the beach, could walk to a couple of bars/restaurants and we often used the pool in the afternoon. We grilled and enjoyed the backyard deck. Thanks to Chris and Lisa.

Delaware Beach Vacation

We were very pleased with our stay. The house was very clean, the rooms were spacious, and it actually felt like being home away from home. From board games for family night, a pool table for an eventful evening, to a gas grill when you want to hang out on the rear deck, this place has it all. Oh, and you can't forget about the Tiki Toss! We were grateful to know that if there was anything we needed, the host, who was very personable, was only a phone call or text away. Being only minutes away from the beach was nice, but having access to a pool in a gated community is definitely a plus. Restaurants were only a short drive or bike ride away. All the local attractions were usually within 15 minutes away. So, if you're looking for a vacation home where the host takes pride in providing an excellent stay for their guests, they provide many amenities, and are very hospitable, look no further.

Perfect Getaway for Large Family!

My family of 8 ranging from age 10 to 75 really enjoyed this stay. We chose this house because of the layout, it had everything needed on the 1st floor for someone who cannot walk upstairs. House was fully stocked with everything you could need during your stay. Outside shower was clean and a big plus for us after coming from the beach. Although we had 2 days of rain we had plenty of things available to keep kids occupied – lots of games, tiki toss and of course the pool table! The sound system was awesome especially for the teenagers. The beds were all very comfortable and the bedrooms were spread out from each other, which was a plus. There are a lot of switches to control lighting, fans etc. and they were all labeled which made life easy. They had plenty of beach chairs available & bikes which our family enjoyed. The outside pool at the clubhouse was really nice for the kids on a non-beach day. There was a large Weber grill with gas which we used & George Foreman grill which we appreciated and used daily. The development was clean and quiet and perfect for the 2 runners in my family. We were only a few min. away from 3 grocery stores which was convenient. We have been coming to Bethany for a few years now and parking isn't a problem as long as you arrive at the beach by 10am. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and easily reached by phone or text. Host visited to go over any questions we had. In my opinion the best hosts we ever had! All in all a perfect stay for us!

Great house in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay. This beautiful house lies in a quiet neighborhood (like a gated community, but the guardhouse is not manned (yet?)). More houses are being built but you don’t notice any noise. If you are looking for peace & quiet, yet less than 2 mi to Bethany Beach, this is it! The owners were very friendly & flexible. They even visited us on the 1st day to check on everything. One neighbor introduced himself the same day, offering any info/help if needed. The community has a club house (seemed new) with pool, fitness, boccia & horseshoe pits - just a 5 min bike ride away (the house had 9 bikes. Could've used them to go to the beach but we drove as we always lugged a bunch of stuff with us). Built around 2004(?), the house is well maintained. The only thing that should be done soon is the back deck (wood needs to be sanded and re-sealed). It’s very nice with an umbrella’d table for 6 and a Weber gas grill which we used for a birthday party of about 20 people (we otherwise used the kitchen or went out to eat). Again, very quiet, you could sit outside any day, anytime and not hear a thing. The master bedroom has a master bath (really nice, especially the jacuzzi-like bathtub). I personally would install exterior roller blinds to make it completely dark (I’m a late-sleeper, especially on vacation), but that’s a matter of taste (I just used the eye cover from the plane). We really liked the open gallery/living /dining room /kitchen concept. The kitchen was stocked with all the spices and equipment you could ever need. Speedy dishwasher made cleaning up after cooking a breeze. Free washer & dryer was great for laundry every once in a while. Downstairs has a guest toilet. Upstairs was the 2nd bedroom next to the (super cool!) pool table room. There is a kids room (2 sets of bunkbeds) which is connected to /shares the bath with the 4th bedroom (but each had their separate toilet - bathtub was in the middle. So no waiting, so to say). There’s even an outdoor shower if you're sandy from the beach. The grounds of each house were immaculate (done by an external service 1x week). Supermarkets just a 5 min drive and the beach, as mentioned, close by (parking not expensive; beach was free ). Having grown up in the Philly area and visiting all the NJ beaches, I finally decided to come to Bethany Beach and we were very glad we did. I can recommend the area, and most certainly this house, to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation!

Beautiful home near the beach and restaurants. Everything you need for summer fun—bikes, games, toys, bbq. Wonderfully appointed for a stress-free vacation, including a pool table and great music system.

Covid 19 Delaware Stay

The property was very nice. great location in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed during Covid in July of 2020. We had a dance competition in OCM and it was a short 20min drive. We didn't want the hustle and bustle of Ocean City as we are more quiet people and it was perfect. The clubhouse and pool were open and very quiet and not crowded at all. You have to drive to the beach and Bethany Beach was very crowded but we weren't really there for the beach. We loved the neighborhood and the restaurants/ice cream stores that were around.. not crowded at all. The pictures are pretty accurate of the house.. and all the beds were very comfortable. One recommendation is to not hesitate to call the owners early on for help... The TV remotes were pretty specific on how to use and operate and before messing with them (as it could get worse if you keep messing around.. lol) if you have trouble call the owners. They were very responsive on text and on the phone. Plenty of bikes to use to ride to the beach.. about 2 miles away each way. Gameroom was fantastic and we had plenty of late night pool tournaments...Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home, great location, family fun!

My husband and I have a family of 3 married children and 2 grandkids. Each of us lives in a different city, and we vacation in a different place every year. Bethany Beach and this home were fantastic! The house is beautiful and extremely well-equipped, with tons of pots, pans, dishes and cups, etc. We've rented many places before, and this one had the best stocked kitchen. That is important to us, as we don't want to have to run the dishwasher after every meal and we tend to cook a lot. The beds were very comfy and the rooms were, too. Having 3.5 bathrooms was so convenient, and the great room accommodated our whole group. The deck had lots of seating, so we ate some meals out there. We loved the pool! Nice, clean uncrowded and spray elements that the kids liked. Several of us rode the provided bikes to the pool, and some rode down to the beach. Bethany beach is 5 minutes away and we had tons of fun there. We also went to Assateague to see the wild horses and spend the day at the beach there. Such a good time! You won't regret choosing to stay here. Have a great time!

We had a great Bethany Beach vacation while staying at this house. Plenty of room for 8 of us - 6 adults and 2 kids. Nice amenities. Convenient access to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. The traffic could be a little slow, though we were there 4th of July week, so it was a busy time. The clubhouse facility has a great pool and great exercise facilities.

Great!!

We enjoyed this house very much. Everything was very well stocked. The house was very spacious and enough room for all our adults and 2 grandchildren. There were numerous bicycles in the garage, chairs, and other supplies to use. The new pool, fitness center, and clubhouse was outstanding. We spent many hours at the pool and fitness center. I would definitely rent this place again. This house is a winner!!

Upon arrival, I found the house to be exactly how it is shown in the pictures and description.

My family was excited to be there! Besides the house being clean and beautiful, we found that every room had a TV with the exception of the kids room (bunk beds). The tv's have ROKU boxes and some have cable boxes. Beds are very comfortable. The pool hall is awsome with a fireplace, wet bar, TV on the wall, audio system with plug for your mobile device and a twin size sofa bed. The master bedroom in the first floor has a large master bath his and hers sinks and separate crap room (LOL), good sized closet with an AERO BED & sleeping mat and the bed??? Very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped and clean with large pantry. The deck has a large glass table with seating for six and a gas grill (used the heck out of it). Inside the house 2 more tables for 6 and a counter by the kitchen also equipped with dishwasher and garbage disposal. The garage has 9 bikes and other games, beach chairs, 2 large freezers for additional foods. Between the garage and mudroom by the breezeway you'll find an outside shower to rid yourself of excess sand from the beach. The owner has tons of magazines with TO DO's laying around the house. Very quiet neighborhood no traffic. AC is very good, washer and dryer. The house is 45 minutes from Assateague Island which is loaded with wild horses and beaches. Had a great experience at the Inlet of Ocean City where we went Parasailing overlooking the board walk and Assateague island and rented 3 seater Jetskiis that we took all the way to the middle of Assateague. Our guides were amazing, the owner funny and great to talk to. Look them up "INLET SEADOOS". The town of Bethany is pretty clean, fun, great restaurants and minutes from everything! Look for the Salted Rim, The Boathouse (in Bethany), Taste of Italy and Sun n Surf theater for super comfortable seating with a boatload of legroom while you watch your movie. Over all, money well spent on this home!! I'd do it again some day...GIANT supermarket AND BETHANY BEACH about 10 minutes away in opposite directions. You can't be at the beach between 1am and 5am...with that said, ENJOY THE SUNRISE!!!! I DID!!!

spacious and quiet

Liked this getaway spot a lot - bikes were a huge perk and we appreciated the nice grill, pool table and outdoor shower. The beach was VERY crowded over the holiday weekend so it was lovely to retreat to this house at the end of the day. Was a perfect fit for our family.

Great family getaway!

Overall good accommodations for large families. Awesome location. Easily accessible to local beaches, shopping etc. The owners are great. They were easy to communicate with and addressed all questions and concerns in a timely manner. They took care of a lot of details to make our stay effortless. I Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!
