The villa was beautiful, just as described. Pauline and Mario were excellent hosts throughout, even going above and beyond to help us reunite with an iphone left at the ferry port on the day of departure.

Villa was beautiful, photos didn’t do it justice. Huge amount of room for three couples. Villa was well equipped and pool area was lovely. Fantastic location for walking to restaurants, bars and exploring Gozo. Easy to hop across to Malta to explore its history and vibrant life. Mario & Pauline were excellent hosts, on call for anything you needed and Mario’s taxi service was a real bonus. Would like to return.

Excellent stay

The property is absolutely beautiful, exactly as pictured in the photographs. Pauline was the perfect host, very attentive and answered any questions we had about the area and surrounding in detail. We cannot fault the property or the location it was great for our family, just the peaceful holiday we was looking for.

A great stay!

A beautiful property with a wonderful pool. Ten minute walk from a lovely square full of restaurants, they have live music in the square one night a week. Ferry to Valletta very easy for day trips. Pauline was a great host, good communication and always happy to solve any problems that come up.

Relaxed stay in Xaghra

Pauline our host was attentive and thoughtful providing a lovely welcome. A spacious property for our party of five, located in a quiet area with a view to the hills. Particularly enjoyed the walk from the house to Calypso Cave and Ramla beach. Xaghra and Gozo more generally is a gentle contrast to Valletta. The Blue Lagoon is on the busy side, but the island of Comino itself offers a great walk away from the crowds.

Beautiful villa in Gozo

Spacious villa with all amenities. Beautiful pool and garden. Lovely outdoor and indoor dining area. Host Pauline very helpful, lovely lady close by but discreet. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to a family emergency. Pauline was very kind and took us to the ferry port at a moment’s notice. Thank you for your assistance Pauline.

Lovely stay in Gozo, Pauline and Mario looked after us all so well

Lovely family that own the villa and nothing was too much trouble to organise or to ask. We didn't have a hire car while we stayed here but Mario drove us to wherever we wanted to go, beautiful island, very relaxed and lovely weather while we were there. Pool was a little cold for the time of year but it didn't stop us using it. Villa was plenty big enough for our family of 9.

Malta Vacation

Overall, the accommodations were just as shown in the photos. Clean, and very comfortable. The hosts where outstanding, Pauline and Mario always checked in and provided us with anything we needed. Being of Maltese decent and having been to Malta previously we found the accommodations to be very nice and it was very enjoyable to be staying within the community we were visiting. Xaghra is a great little town with fantastic restaurants and a beautiful town square we could not have been more pleased with the community during our month stay Pauline and Mario, thank you for your hospitality and we hope to see you both again in the future. Fantastic stay

From start to finish this was an excellent experience. The owner was really attentive without being intrusive and sorted the few minor issues we had with lightening speed . We rented cars from them too for a very reasonable price. Lovely pool and terrace were bigger than average for Gozo and location was ideal, less than 10.min walk to the charming village centre. All rooms are a decent size and the house has real character. Thick stone walls and lovely tiled floors. We loved it. Be aware that aircon is charged separately. Its a fair idea since if weather not that hot , you don't need the extra charge. For a week during a very hot spell we spent 140 euros and didn't skimp. There's a unit in every room. It was indispensable..spotlessly clean, lovely people, great location. Highly recommended.

A Week in Paradise!!

Our week at the villa was absolute paradise. Pauline and Mario are wonderful hosts, and the photos do not lie! The bedrooms are lovely with wardrobes and dressers, so feel free to unpack and move right in! The common areas (living room, kitchen, patio) are beautifully furnished with everything you need, but no clutter. The pool is stunning, with incredible views! Pauline checked in with us shortly after our plane landed, and again as we were getting on to the ferry from Malta to Gozo. It took us longer than I expected for us to pick up our rental car and drive to the ferry, so we were at least an hour later than I had told Pauline. Despite that, she and Mario were so kind and welcoming. They gave us a quick tour of the villa, provided restaurant recommendations, then left to allow us to settle in. If there are any local activities you are interested in, ask Pauline and Mario for suggestions. We wanted to go to Comino and to see the caves, and she phoned ahead for us to a boat company and made arrangements. Everybody at the company she referred us to was kind and efficient, and it was reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be coming back! Maureen and the Cruzen family

Perfect

We have just had a lovey week staying at this house - 3 times delayed due to Covid and Pauline was extremely helpful with our changes of bookings. The house is very spacious, well equipped and was extremely clean. The outside space was lovely - and very peaceful. It is close to the town square, and Xaghra is a great location for exploring Gozo. The Fast Ferry to Valetta was a great day out as well. Weather lovely, sea warm, food delicious, people very friendly - it really was perfect!

Lovely villa and location

Villa lovely, great location, walking distance to good restaurants in the village square. Owner of villa is next door and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Spacious property nicely decorated

Pauline was very responsive to any queries we had. Supermarkets near the property. Xaghra is an attractive village with a lovely central square in front of the church surrounded by bars and restaurants.

What a wonderful property -highly recommended

Could not fault this villa and the always available help next door from the villa owners. Fabulous welcome pack - best we have ever had - everything to make tea/coffee, sandwich/snack and lovely fruit too. Villa beautifully decorated - Air Con a must for when we were there - so very welcome, did not mind paying for it. Car hire fabulous - don't even think about airport hassle! We will be back!

Amazing villa

This villa did not disappoint, it was exactly like the photos & very clean. The Airport transfer was hassle free. The welcome package was more than we expected. The town was easily accessible by foot, We did use the added bonus of Mario’s taxi when going further. We had a lovely week, Thank you to Pauline & Mario.

We were a family party of ten.

The villa was everything we could of hoped for, clean, spacious, well equipped. The view from the terrace and pool wonderful. It was one week of absolute joy, in the villa and around the town. Pauline and Mario could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Many thanks, Bob Marks and family.

Good location, very large fab views

A huge villa even for our party of nine! Well equipped with a lovely pool and far reaching views. A convenient walk to Xaghras square with good restaurants. Bus stops close or a good taxi service provided by the owners right next door! As a gardener I felt that the area around the pool needed some TLC, it could have looked so pretty! Pauline and the family were very obliging and provided lots of local information and efficient transfers were arranged in the price. Local residents were friendly and local shops well stocked. All in all a good 9 day break.

Beautiful, spacious property

Beautiful, clean property, well maintained with panoramic views over the countryside. Very well equipped and owners Pauline and Mario very helpful and friendly. Holiday in April we had lovely weather. Local restaurants very good and always welcoming. Travel by bus you can reach most places on the island. Mario provides a taxi service and car rental at a good price. For us it was a relaxing holiday with most time spent around the pool or walking into Xhagra for meals. I would recommend this villa as one to visit.
