Apartamento de 2 dormitorios con una gran terraza con magníficas vistas sobre el puerto deportivo y el mar.
Ubicación perfecta en el centro de Funchal, justo al lado del Teatro, el Parque de Santa Catarina y el Jardín Municipal, el Café Ritz, Theatre Cafe y el Golden Gate Grand Cafe. Dentro de los 5 minutos de la Catedral o el puerto deportivo donde la mayoría de los autobuses paran y el centro comercial La Vie que abre todos los días (con una farmacia de 9h / 24h y un supermercado grande Pingo Doce en la planta baja). No es necesario un automóvil, pero si usted alquila uno, hay un parque privado pagado en el edificio.
El mercado está a 15 minutos a pie.

Absolutely the best trip I have ever been on.

Elsa and her daughter were excellent and made us feel like home. The location of the property and the view was absolutely stunning. I will book this property again when I come back. Thank you Elsa for helping make this a great experience!

Lovely well positioned apartment

Magnificent views over the marina. Could not have had a better view. Apartment well equipped and roomy. Home from home. Well positioned for bars, restaurants and shops. Pick up to and from airport was arranged.would certainly recommend and if back in Madeira would look no further. Thank you Elsa for a wonderful stay.

Great location, excellent apartment

This apartment is overbooks the harbor with beautifu view.It is a very comfortable and well equipped like at home. This apartment is very centrally located in the heart of city Funchal, market, super market and shiping centre as well as city bus are near by. The marina just 5 min. walk to catch the actives . Look forward to stay at this place again in the future

We want to go again!

We certainly want to visit again. Fantastic location with stunning views and easy access to everything. Be aware that on occasion it can be noisy through the night at weekends. Also, the appartment requires some tender loving care. But these negatives do not spoil a great holiday. Simply reduces a 5 star to 4.

SUPERB

Elsa. Just a line to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at your apartment last week. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. As for the location, perfect. Superb view, and right at the centre of shops and restaurants. Your taxi service to and from the airport was very welcome also. It took a lot of strain from our trip, not having to worry about transfers. We are looking forward to coming out to see you again for a future holiday.

Excellent Accomadation

Had a wonderful stay at apartment. Very spacious, central with amazing views. Apartment was just as described and being able to sit out on the verandah having breakfast was an added bonus! The view of the different cruise ships arriving daily was amazing. The apartment block very quiet and secure with concierge. Broadband easy to access and very fast. Lots of lovely restaurants very close by and serving excellent fayre. Pingo supermarket only 5 minutes from apartment at La Vie shopping centre and fantastic bakery across road from accomadation. Bus travel cheap and easy to use with top up Giro card, available to purchase at nearby tobacconist. Elsa has lots of information on eating out and activities to enjoy and was very helpful and informative. The Madeirian people are so friendly and cant do enough to make your stay on their island memorable. We would definately recommend this accomadation and do hope to return again. Thank you Elsa!

Port Apartment

We have just returned from Christmas holiday at Elsas apartment. The description on Owners Direct and pictures were accurate. As soon as we walked in it felt like a home. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Before we went Elsa was always prompt replying to my queries which I appreciated. Her personal taxi service to and from the airport was efficient and very reassuring to know the owner would be there. The location of this apartment is first class. Looking out over the harbour and watching the cruise ships and smaller boats was our daily entertainment whilst we ate all our meals on the balcony. The supermarket was just 5 minutes away, walks in either direction and the centre of town were outside the apartment but the apartment was still quiet at night. We enjoyed the pool side buffet lunch at Reids Hotel. Many people go for afternoon tea for the same price but we prefer to eat out at lunch. Also enjoyed a long walk on the front to Cmera de Lobos, and a trip on the bus to Porto monez. Thank you Elsa for a lovely stay in your apartment. We hope to return.

Excellent apartment, great location!

Elsa was the perfect host. Her apartment is beautiful and overlooks the harbor where you can see boats and cruise ships come and go. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. Best of all the apartment is very centrally located in the heart of the Funchal area. There are many shops and grocery stores near by. Also all of the city buses are in this area. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Fantastischer Blick auf den Hafen vom Balkon in der 7. Etage.

Alles hat hervorragend geklappt. Wir hatten vergessen zu sagen, dass wir einen Mietwagen hatten. Am nächsten Morgen brachte uns eine Freundin von Elsa einen Schlüssel für die private Tiefgarage. Das Appartement ist perfekt, wir kommen gerne wieder

Tolle Lage, gemütliche Wohnung

Wir waren zwei Wochen mit 3 Kindern (3 bis 10J.) in der Wohnung und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Appartement ist nicht ganz neu, aber hell und freundlich und gut aufgeteilt. Die Lage im 7. Stock am Hafen und an der Straße macht es nicht ganz leise, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Man wird im Gegenzug belohnt durch ein munteres Treiben, Boote und Schiffe den ganzen Tag und viel unterhaltsame Action vom Balkon aus. Nachts ist alles ruhig und wenn man die Fenster schließt erst recht. Insgesamt ist Funchal trotz seiner Größe und auch die Lage des Apartments sehr friedlich und entspannt. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt und von freundlichen Menschen umgeben.

Excellent Apartment with great views and amenities

Elsa was a great host and gave us all the low down of the area, which restaurants to visits, tours and nearest supermarket. She collected/returned us from the airport which made this such a stress free relaxing break. The apartment is very spacious, with a lovely balcony to enjoy the sea views and promonade. The location is spot on, with lots of nice restaurants and bars on your doorstep, but no noise disturbance being 7 floors up (with lift). I would really recommend this apartment and service provide by Elsa for a lovely stress free break, to enjoy the sight of Funchal and Madeira. Many Thanks Alison & Kate

Bel appartement au coeur de Funchal

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans l'appartement d'Elsa. Elle nous a très bien accueillies à notre arrivée dans la capitale et a été très disponible quand nous avions des questions. L'appartement est conforme aux photos : spacieux, propre, tout confort. Il est surtout idéalement placé : proche des commerces, des bus, de l'océan ! Nous avons passé une très belle semaine et avons adoré Madère !

For comfort and location this is a first rate choice of apartment

The previous reviews of this apartment are very accurate - we were guided by them in our selection of accommodation and were not disappointed in any way in our recent holiday. The apartment is not new, but it is very comfortable in every way [bed/ chairs/fans/kitchen facilities]: truly a home from home. The location is superb if you want to explore Funchal: buses are on the doorstep; there are restaurants galore within staggering distance; the supermarket is very close; the bakery across the road supplies lovely coffee, cakes and bread; two lovely gardens are within yards of the front door. We were so enthralled by the activities in the marina that we abandoned most of our plans for touring the hotspots and spent hours on the balcony watching the life of Funchal unfold before us. Elsa was everything one would wish for when booking an apartment: prompt to respond, helpful with the admin, very approachable and absolutely efficient in every aspect of our dealings with her. Thank you, Elsa. Tourism is the mainstay of Madeira's economy and what makes it such a special island to visit is the pride taken in all aspects of the tourism industry and the high level of skill shown by all who work in it: it truly is a little bit of paradise. Alas, our stay ended all too soon and we now only have photos to remind us of the sea by day and twinkling lights by night. The fact that this apartment is booked well in advance by happy returnees says it all - we will be joining the queue and hope to return. Restaurant tips: Tipografia/ Restaurante do Forte/ Armazen do Sal/ Boho are all within easy [flat!] walking distance and are excellent for both food and service; not the cheapest eateries but first- rate value for money. Some memorable meals were enjoyed!

Just heaven

Lovely Apartment

This cosy apartment is in an excellent location, close to all amenities, with a lovely view of the marina in Funchal. Access to public transport was close by and good value to all parts of the Island. The wifi in the apartment worked well and was useful for planning our trips. Elsa, the apartment owner, picked us up from the airport and also arranged for her friend to take us back as she was away. We can highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a holiday to Madeira and would not hesitate to stay here again if visiting in the future.

Lovely Sea-view apartment

This is an excellent holiday apartment, with a great balcony overlooking the Marina and Sea-port. Elsa has very good taste, so the interior design is very pleasing. Everything is provided for your stay, and the central location makes this a great base for exploring, bus trips etc. This is the second time we have booked this, and will certainly book again if it is free. Elsa is very easy to do business with, very professional-we had a great time!

We have lived in the apartment four weeks per year for four years. It is a wounderfull apartment with the best location in Funchal. It is very equipped, you can find all you need. Elsa Always ask the guests if they need something more. The apartment is Always tidy and yhe ckeaning lady is very nice. The apartment is located on 7th floor eith a weiew from the balcony and all the windows facing the sea and Cruise ships only 500 meters from the balcony. The property has a very frendly doorkeeper and the door is looked during evenings, nights and weekends. The apartment is located right in center near shops, restaurants and cafes.

Central, clean with great views of the marina.

We have stayed in this apartment for at least three times! We find the apartment clean, with facilities that make it a home from home. Its position is ideal for Funchal, with its many shops and restaurants only a brief walk away. Elsa the landlady is very helpful and provides a personal service to make anyone welcome. The view from the apartment's balcony provides entertainment and interest at all times. Well worth a stay.

A wonderful time in a apartment that feels at home

This apartment is for us the best place to stay for a few weeks. It is cosy, so you feel at home.There is an indoor balcony that makes it possible to stay as much as possible outside and enjoy the view over the ocean and the harbour. It is spacious and well equipped with all facilities. The location is in the centre of the lively Avenida Arriaga near the cafes. Public transport is easily accessible. We booked already for next year.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable ideally situated overlooking the harbour. The balcony is sunny with amazing views out to the sea, fabulous for watching all the cruise ships coming and going. It´s also close to so many attractions and just a short walk (10 mins) to the Old Town where all the restaurants are found.
