"LA LIMONAIA es una dependencia de 50 metros cuadrados sumergida en el verde del jardín y accesible a través de un camino característico. Tiene una gran zona de descanso en el entrepiso caracterizada por un techo con vigas. Un ambiente íntimo que también cuenta con una sala de estar con cocina moderna totalmente equipada y una gran sala de estar. Para cualquiera que quiera total privacidad. Una joya preciosa de la Florencia renacentista que la tradición de una familia florentina quería compartir con sus invitados. En el corazón de la ciudad, los aromas a limón, palmeras centenarias y la sombra de los olivos en el hermoso jardín interno ofrecen un escape inolvidable de la vida cotidiana.
Casa Rabatti lo espera en un edificio antiguo, transformado en el siglo XIX, y hoy equipado con todas las comodidades para que disfrute de una experiencia inolvidable amenizada por un ambiente familiar y amigable, que le ofrece soluciones ideales para estadías a corto o largo plazo. Las instalaciones dan al corredor común donde el pozo construido en 1823 salió a la luz y se recuperó gracias a una hábil obra arquitectónica.

Our stay in La Limonaia garden apartment Florence

We had a lovely stay in the La Limonaia garden apartment. The property managers were very friendly and very helpful and always happy to answer queries. The apartment was very well equipped and very clean. It was in a good location and very secure. The garden was a lovely safe and quiet haven to relax in. We loved our stay there.

Fantastic stay in Florence

We stayed for 4 nights and couldn't be happier with our choice. The location is perfect, close to everything, but tucked away in a courtyard and so peaceful. The apartment is sparking clean, comfortable and just a lovely place to stay. Our host were always available to answer any questions and so nice and caring. It is a beautiful oasis centrally located in Florence. Thank you for providing such a lovely apartment for our visit.

Special Retreat in Florence

Sergio was there to accommodate and meet us much earlier than planned due to train issues. He quickly helped us get situated with local grocery and restaurant options. It is in a bustling area and yet had peaceful solitude we needed after long fun filled days in Florence and nearby excursions. It felt like a home and had all the amenities we needed to keep us ready for our active schedule. So pleased we stayed with them in Florence.

A hidden oasis

I LOVED staying here, away from the crowd of Florence yet close enough — only a 7-10 minute ( fun) walk from the Duomo. Sergio, Patricia and Marcella ( husband wife and mother) were so very kind and helpful and let me practice my very bad Italian with them. I would highly recommend this place. Getting away from the crowd is key!

Garden Courtyard

This property is in fact a little house, set inside a lovely courtyard. The bedroom is upstairs in a loft. The decor is charming. The owners are so friendly and helpful. The location is quiet and private, yet just a few blocks away from the Mercato Centrale and all the nearby trattorias. I will definitely return and recommend this place to others.

Amazing Accommodations!!

We had an outstanding experience from beginning to end! Sergio responded timely to all of our questions prior to our visit, and the check in/check out process was very efficient. He met us as soon as we arrived, and the unit was clean, it was consistent with what was presented, and it was perfect for us! The unit was within walking distance of everything that we wanted to see in Florence for the month that we stayed! And, we highly recommend this unit to future guests! Thanks again, Sergio!

Trip to Florence

My husband and I spent 4 days in Florence in September. Serge was the best host. He greeted us and took us for a tour of the property. The room was very clean and spacious. The terrace was a lovely added bonus. The location of the property was perfect. Serge was the best host and we really enjoyed our time in Florence. I highly recommend booking this space for your visit.

Best hosts in all of Florence, hands down!

Sergio and his wife are absolutely wonderful! They welcomed us with open arms to Florence and made our stay so comfortable. Anything we needed they were available and provided quickly. The garden is an absolute oasis and is beautiful. They let us use the lemons and herbs from the garden to make drinks or cook with. The apartment is very simple with few decorations but is everything you need for a stay in a great location in Florence. We hope to return!

We were guests at La Limonaia for 4 weeks, and found it to be the perfect spot for our stay. The apartment was spotless, and clean linens were provided each week. The location was ideal. We were just blocks away from the more touristy area of the city, so walking everywhere was easy, but the way the apartment is nestled within the city block it was very peaceful. The courtyard garden was a perfect respite for us after busy days. We took many day trips during our stay and both train station and bus stop were an easy walk. Sergio and Patricia were helpful with suggestions for events and places to explore we otherwise would have missed. We did some cooking and found everything we needed was provided. It is no surprise to us that they have such high reviews, after staying for a month we agree with them! This was the perfect place for us to call "home" during our time in Florence, and hopefully one day we'll be back!

Best of My Bucket List

There is not enough room for me to express how very happy I was with my stay at Casa Rabatti! First, the accommodations were simply beautiful. I actually used the kitchen to cook a couple of meals for myself and found everything I needed! Second, the apartment is located in a perfect area to walk everywhere. And finally, the hosts, Sergio and Patrizia, are so warm and friendly, and I must say that I find myself missing them now that I am home. They are beautiful, kind people. If you want a comfortable, cozy place to stay, this is the place for you. In fact, I would love to have these wonderful people visit me here in the United States as MY guests!!!!

Wonderful Florence Apartment

La Limonaia is a renovated outbuilding in a Florence courtyard. (A Limonaia is a building for housing lemon trees through the winter.) It is beautifully designed, with a small full kitchen, comfortable bathroom, and spacious loft bedroom. The utilities (hot water, heat, A/C) were great. There is a covered seating area in the courtyard that is very pleasant, even in cooler weather. The hosts, Sergio and Patrizia, are attentive, helpful, relaxed, and very friendly. The apartment is in easy walking distance of all major cultural sites. It's two blocks north of the Mercato Centrale and there are easily 3 good supermarkets within 4 blocks. Restaurants, bars, tobacconists, etc. are all easy to find. We stayed eight weeks and it was wonderful.

A wonderful find in Florence

I booked this property (La Limonaia at Casa Rabatti) as a gift to my brother for his recent first-time stay in Florence. We couldn't have made a better choice! Sergio & his wife were wonderful hosts. Communication was prompt and clear, even when we had to make some last-minute adjustments (our fault, not theirs) and they were very accommodating of my brother's earlier arrival. The place was immaculate, comfortable and very conveniently located, close to the train station and many of Florence's major landmarks and tourist destinations. My brother says he would give it a 5+ rating if he could. Mille grazie, Sergio! I look forward to staying at La Limonaia myself the next time I am in Florence!

Lovely apartment in great neighborhood

My husband and I stayed La Limonaia for the entire month of May, 2023. Sergio was very easy to communicate with during the process. We found the property in pristine condition. It was extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. The neighborhood was close to the train station as well as all the historical areas and the central market which was great to shop for groceries at. Since we were there for so long, we appreciated the fresh sheets and linens that were made available during our stay. The outside private garden and patio was a bonus to use. We also had the great opportunity to meet Sergio’s wife Patricia who was a charming as could be. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an excellent apartment in Florence. It was truly fantastic.

Patricia and Sergio are very kind. It's a sanctuary in the heart of the extremely busy, touristy, and sometimes overwhelming city center. Every time I walked in the door, I felt a sense of security and safety. The garden is wonderful, with a lemon tree right outside the door. It brings pure joy every day. I appreciate the fact that Patricia made sure that I had enough clean towels, which is very important in summer! Also it’s a blessing to have the air con in the room!!! Summer in Florence is hot!!! I stayed for a month, and by the time I left, i didn’t keep everything as clean as when I first arrived. If the hosts don't mind me staying again, I would definitely come back. Thank you so much for making my time in Firenze so comfortable and wonderful

The most wonderful stay

My husband and I stayed at Casa Rabatti with our two children for a month. La Limonaia apartment was perfect for us. The property and especially the garden was beautiful and peaceful. We had everything we needed and more for a long stay. The location of the apartment is great, in the city center close to the Central Market and Duomo Plaza as well as the train station. We were able to walk with a stroller and our 6 year old everywhere. Sergio was the best host and had great communication even before our trip started. He welcomed us late at night after our flights were delayed and was available for anything that came up during the stay. His wife Patricia is just the nicest and kindest person. She was so kind and generous with our kids and I really enjoyed my conversations with her. What lovely people they both are. My husband and I are extremely happy with our stay and hope to see Sergio and Patricia in the future.

Wonderful getaway loft apartment

My daughter and I stayed here at the La Limonaia for 9 days recently. It was a superb loft apartment with a beautiful courtyard that had lemon, olive, persimmon trees with other herbs and flora and a beautiful fountain. After full days of touring in and around Florence, it was a peaceful location to retreat to. Even despite the location being near a busy street, you cannot hear those outside sounds. The apartment was very secure and so quiet, and after long days of walking around the busy city, it was nice to return to a place where we did not have to climb a lot of stairs. Our apartment came with an outdoor table and chairs to sit outside, washing machine, great kitchen, very nice bathroom, and air conditioning. There was just the two of us, but the apartment can sleep 4. The whole building was exquisitely finished and has great design. Sergio was very attentive to what we needed and was just a joy to get to meet. Very easy to check in and check out. Even having seen all around Florence now on our first visit there, when we return, we will want to stay here again and no where else.

We thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay in La Limonaia at Casa Rabatti! Could not have asked for a more convenient location or more comfortable accommodations. By the time we were a week in, we were already referring to it as “home.” The hosts are lovely people and took very good care of us.The apartment was spotless and the outdoor garden area is an amazing hidden oasis in the heart of a very busy city. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed after long days of site seeing and traveling.I highly recommend Casa Rabatti!

Nouvel an à Florence

Excellente expérience, l’appartement est très agréable et parfaitement situé, proche du centre (5 min à pied) mais très tranquille et un peu en retrait de l’agitation trop touristique du quartier du Duomo. Il est très confortable et récemment rénové, d’une propreté irréprochable et bien équipé. De plus l’hôte des lieux est très sympathique et serviable. A recommander !

Florence for six

The place was a great location to relax after long days of touring Florence. The outdoor patio was a quiet oasis to relax and sip a glass of wine. We will be going back next time we visit Florence.
