"Villa Mendes" es una nueva villa de cuatro dormitorios con piscina. Ubicación frente al mar y total privacidad. Una piscina de 55 m2 rodeada de amplias terrazas. Interiores lujosos y comodidades de la más alta calidad. Comidas preparadas disponibles: preparadas por un chef muy versado en cocina local, mariscos y carnes. Servicio de cena opcional en un restaurante cercano en la playa al que se llega en automóvil o en un paseo panorámico de cortesía. Varios otros restaurantes en el área cercana. Traslado al aeropuerto dividido disponible en lancha rápida o SUV. Amarre en frente de la villa; gratis. Una lancha rápida (400 € / día) con o sin patrón disponible para hasta 12 personas: Yamaha 300 HP, bimini, nevera, GPS, etc. Excelente manera de explorar la hermosa costa, las bahías y cuevas circundantes.

Hermosa playa y acceso natural al mar. Acceso WiFi gratuito, estacionamiento gratuito en el lugar para 4+ autos. Casa principal con gran sala y comedor. Dos dormitorios principales con baños en suite en la casa principal. Dos grandes apartamentos en la casa de huéspedes, cada uno con su propia entrada. Estudio para dos personas con entrada independiente.

Cocina principal con lavavajillas, microondas, horno, licuadora, tostadora, exprimidor de cítricos, cafetera Nescafé Dolce Gusto y mucho más equipo. Tres cocinas. Camas extragrandes con somier, baldosas de porcelana Porcelanosa y Marazzi, artículos sanitarios Villeroy & Boch, utensilios de cocina WMF, seis unidades de aire acondicionado Daikin, seis televisores LED de 42 "- 60" de ancho, 11 hamacas, una gran mesa de comedor al aire libre, 2 duchas al aire libre. Gran parrilla al aire libre que puede servir hasta 15 personas.

Paradies mit vielen Fehlern und Fehlinformationen

Als wir ankamen, war Niemand da um uns das Objekt zu übergeben. Der Besitzer wohnt in der Nähe von Split und benötigt 6 Stunden, um vor Ort zu sein. Das Objekt war schmutzig! Als Familendomizil ist Villa Mendes völlig ungeeignet. Es gibt Innen eine und Außen zwei steile völlig ungesicherte Treppen. Mit kleinen Kindern oder alten Menschen eine absolute Katastrophe. Die Zimmer sind schön. Die Bäder auch, jedoch verfügen sie über keinerlei Waschtisch oder Regal, so dass man seine Toilettenartikel irgendwo im Zimmer abstellen muss. In den Appartements riecht es nach Schimmel und die Türstöcke zu den Badezimmern drehen sich schon auf. Zum Einkaufen(auch für Brot!) sind es mit dem Auto 40!Minuten. Wäre kein Problem, wenn darauf hingewiesen würde. Nach dem ersten Einkauf haben wir Brot in großer Menge gekauft und eingefroren. Denn es sind 4 große Kühl/Gefrier Kombinationen vorhanden. Statt 11 Liegen waren nur 8 vorhanden. Beschattung am Pool Fehlanzeige... Der Besitzer war sehr verständnislos über unsere Kritik. Lediglich das Sauberkeitsproblem erkannte er an und putzte direkt nochmal einen Tag nach. Alleinlage stimmt übrigens auch nicht. Direkt an den Pool angrenzend steht ein altes Steinhaus, welches auch vermietet wird. Wir hatten in der letzten Woche eine Familie mit 3 kleinen Kindern welche morgens um 6 schreiend über unsere Terrasse vor den Appartements liefen. Dies hat dann allerdings der Besitzer geregelt. Die Lage und die Sauberkeit des Wassers sind phänomenal! Robinson Feeling pur. Fazit: Einige Dinge sind bauseitig dringend in Ordnung zu bringen und der Internetauftritt muss ehrlicher gestaltet werden, dann ist es für abenteuerlustige und gut vorbereitete Reisende eine traumhafte Location.

Wakacje idealne

Wspaniałe miejsce - cisza , morze , wszystkie potrzebne elementy (klimatyzacja , basen , pełne wyposażenie ) do wypoczynku i relaksu . Gospodarze - wyrozumiali , chętni do pomocy , świetni w kontakcie . Wróciłem po pobycie w zeszłym roku i zrobię to ponownie .

Very comfortable house, beautiful location

This part of Hvar island is beautiful and serene. The wilderness is right at your doorstep. Although the drive down to the house is on a gravel road, it is well worth it! (I recommend an SUV). The complex is very comfortable, and it is well equipped for large groups (we were nine people, including two children and two grandparents). Mario the landlord was very helpful. We had a very nice time.

Beautiful and secluded location

The villa is very nice for 8 persons (4 bedrooms with a double bed). There is a bunkbed in a tiny room and there are 2 couches that can be turned into a bed. We found that uncomfortable, perhaps for children those beds are sufficient. The view is absolutely wonderful. The swimming pool and lounge area are lovely. Swimming in the sea is great. The house is clean. The road to the house is a dirt road and 4 kilometers long. And it is exciting if you drive at night for the first time. Our Google Maps did not work in such a remote area and there are no signs to show the way. Our car rental company insisted that we would rent 4 WD's. That is a good advice. There was no cook available which was disappointing for us. We had diner at Sea Zane, a restaurant nearby, which was really nice. The owners communicate well and are very helpful.

Fantastic Villa on Beautiful Island

This summer, we rented Villa Mendes for a week to stay with family and celebrate my wife’s birthday. We had 10 people there, including 5 children. Bottom line, we had an amazing stay. This is one of the nicest villas you can rent on the island, and it is offers a fantastic, safe, unique way to experience the island of Hvar. The house is very clean and nicely furnished. The beds and rooms are very nice, and are equipped with televisions (if you need them). The pool is excellent, and we cannot say enough about the awesome cove/beach where you can swim and snorkel. The owners are very easy to reach and are responsive. If you are used to staying at hotels and being waited on for everything, this is not the place for you. However, if you want a great place to visit with family or friends and can roll with some of the uniqueness about Villa Mendes and are good with being away from the masses, you will be rewarded. Some important notes: - Like other reviews say, the road to the villa is a tight, winding, dirt road, and it takes about 15 mins to get down from the main road. 4WD is not required but recommended. - It takes about an hour to get to the city of Hvar, and the closest grocery is in Jelsa about 30 mins away. We cooked quite a few meals in the villa. - The little town around the bend is easy to get to by boat or kayak. Definitely visit and for meals. My teen boys were able to walk there via the rocks but it is a challenge. - We rented a little boat in Jelsa for the week and used it to explore. It worked out well except for the days when the wind picked up and the waves made it tough to boat. - There is a town nearby called Humac with a little, unique restaurant we recommend. The town itself is abandoned so it seems a bit strange at first - heads up. - Rent a captain and boat in the city of Hvar. We visited all of the little islands and the Blue Cave. - Jelsa is fairly close and worth a visit just to explore. - Buy local olive oil and wine from the roadside stands. - Bring band aids and Neosporin. It is surprisingly hard to find these basics. We flew into Vienna from the US and drove down to Split. It was long, but easy. We parked our car in Split and took the ferry to Hvar island where we rented another car. This saved us the hassle of lining up to bring the car on the ferry. On the way back, we visited Plitvice (highly recommended) and Budapest (also highly recommended) on our way back to Vienna. A great family vacation!

Absolutely amazing!!

"Villa Mendes" is the perfect place to stay, especially if you enjoy total privacy and peace. We have stayed at many different villas, all over the World, over the last 15 years and can honestly say that this was our best one ever! The dead-end track leading from the main road to the villa is 2-3 km long, so definitely no passing traffic, but you may prefer a 4WD or SUV if you plan on driving up and down it often. The rooms are all tastefully furnished to a very high standard and spotlessly clean (like the rest of Croatia). The views from every room are simply stunning and the layout of the accommodation allows for family or friends spending time together, but still maintaining privacy between each bedroom area. Outside, the pool area is just fantastic and the private ocean front is great for swimming in the clear blue water or exploring along the rocks and pools. The ocean goes flat when the wind drops, and you can actually see huge shoals of small fish swimming by. We spent most of our time relaxing at the villa and took advantage of the services of top chef Franko some nights, who cooked us fabulous and authentic Croatian meals using local produce, some grown himself. We also found fantastic restaurants in local Jelsa and further away Hvar, both beautiful ports where you can enjoy boat trips or just chill out. It was only the two of us this time, but we are already planning to return with our friends, another three couples, next year and take full advantage of all the facilities. The hospitality and communication from Mario and Margarita Mendes was outstanding, never intrusive, but always there to help. A really lovely couple, with very high standards. To sum up "Villa Mendes" really is the experience of a lifetime!!

Stunning villa in an idyllic quiet location with perfect hosts!!

We were looking for a quiet getaway with all the amenities you might require for a relaxing 2 week family holiday. Villa Mendes was perfect for us! It is a stunning place with a great pool and direct access to the sea. Every morning went for a snorkel and the kids loved playing in the pool. On arrival the villa was spotlessly clean and clearly well looked after. The hosts, Mario and Margarita could not have been more helpful and pleasant to deal with. The communication before we went was exceptional and whilst we were there they were contactable 24/7 and always happy to assist us with whatever we needed. We hired a chef to cook traditional Croatian evening meals for us and we can highly recommend him! Ask Mario for Franco! He uses the freshest ingredients and traditional methods and always with a smile on his face! Car hire is essential for exploring this beautiful island and ideally a 4x4 for the dirt roads leading to the villa and around the rest of the island (local car hire companies are funny about taking regular vehicles anywhere except main roads). I can't recommend this villa enough if you're looking for peace and tranquility in a stunning location. Thank you so much Mario and Margarita and we wish you all the best for the future. We will see you again for sure!
