Are you looking for a holiday destination on the Italian riviera, which not only offers you peace and quiet, beautiful beaches, sunshine and sea, but also plenty of opportunities for activities and lovely trips in the local area? Then you have come to the right place. Our holiday villa, which sleeps 8 is set in a hillside location on the mediterranean coast, 150 metres from the azure sea. The house provides a stunning 180-degree unobstructed sea view and was in 2022-2023 renovated and modernised in the Ligurian style.

Wundervolle Ferien

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Marjoleins Haus. Das Anwesen ist geräumig und sehr sauber. Die Anfahrt ist beim ersten Mal ein bisschen tricky, aufgrund des engeren Zufahrtsweges, aber dann auch kein Problem mehr. Der Star des Hauses ist die Aussicht, die schlichtweg Atemberaubend ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

Maison traditionnelle ligurienne rénovée et située dans un environnement méditerranéen idyllique.

Maison de caractère typiquement ligurien restaurée de fond en comble et disposant d'un confort moderne et complet. Equipement de haut niveau et literie neuve. Beau jardin étagé, arboré et fleurie avec piscine sécurisée hors sol et de bonne taille. Mer à 200 m à vol d'oiseau et à 50 m environ d'altitude. Accès à la plage délicat en file indienne le long d'une route sans trottoirs, mais, en fin de compte peu pénalisant, grace à la piscine. Utilisation pratique des cars à horaires un peu approximatifs pour Impéria (cathédrale) et San Remo (marché le mardi matin). Joli arrière pays au-dessus de San Remo (Mont Bignonne et restaurant de San Romolo à l'excellente cuisine italienne). Excursion Monaco par train de Vintimille. En conclusion, séjour inoubliable pour tous, de 2 à 79 ans, dans une superbe maison traditionnelle à l'intérieur et l'extérieur neufs. Merci à Marjoleen, une hôtesse sympatique et attentionnée.

Wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Meer

Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist Wunderschön und man kann sich nicht satt sehen! Aus allen drei Schlafzimmer in der ersten Etage hat man die Sicht ebenfalls! Das Haus liegt so, dass man beim Sitzen und Essen draussen nur auf das Meer schaut und keine Nachbarn sieht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und man hat drinnen und draussen genügend Sitzgelegenheit. Der nächste Strand war auch in der Hauptsaison nicht überfüllt, was wir seh schätzten. Den Strand erreicht man in ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuss. Auf dem Weg muss man aber ein Stück neben den vorbeifahrenden Autos laufen, was eine Eingewöhnung verlangte. Mit zusätzlichen Höhenmeter findet man aber einen ruhigeren Weg durch die kleine Ortschaft. Unterhalb vom Haus verläuft eine gut befahrene Strasse. Uns hat es nicht besonders gestört, man hörte sie dennoch. Die Ein- und die Abreise verlief absolut reibungslos. Ein Kompliment an die Verwaltung! Wir haben den Aufenthalt und die Ferien sehr genossen!

Familienurlaub

Wir waren 7 Erwachsene mit 2 Kindern und waren sehr zufrieden. Es gab im Haus 3 Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer mit einer Couch aber nicht unbedingt als Schlafcouch geeignet. Zusätzlich gab es am Haus ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit einem eigenen Badezimmer. Wir hatten eine gute Lage, mit diversen Stränden in der Umgebung, sowie auch Lebensmittel Geschäfte. Die Kommunikation hat mit dem Besitzer super und schnell funktioniert. Die Aussicht war unbezahlbar

Beautiful views and plenty of outside space.

We enjoyed our stay at the villa. It was well set up for guests. The views and outside space are amazing. We ate every meal looking out to sea. We had 2 teenagers with us and the WiFi worked well which kept them happy. We found the pool a bit small for us and preferred to walk to the beach at San Lorenzo. We would return but not in August when parking is stressful wherever you go! Communication with Marjolein was very good.

Villa in traumhafter Lage, 1a-Meerblick!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Pfingstferienwoche. Die Villa liegt traumhaft ein wenig oberhalb am Berg. Der Meerblick ist phänomenal. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, über die Waschmaschine haben wir uns als sportaffine Urlauberfamilien sehr gefreut. Die unterschiedlichen Terrassen und Ruhegelegenheiten lassen keinen Wunsch offen, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit den sehr netten holländischen Besitzern hat hervorragend funktioniert.

erg basic, woning ruikt muf en naar vocht, sanitair echt te weinig voor grote groep.

woning zelf is echt italiaans, uitzicht is prachtig echter de bereikbaarheid is niet erg goed, toegangsweg is steil en slecht, invoegen op kustweg gevaarlijk, wandelen naar het dorp is in het donker risicovol. Inrichting van de woning is erg basic, glaswerk is minimaal, koken gaat moeizaam door lage gasdruk, Tuin is voor groot gedeelte braakliggend en dor, zwembad is een opzetzwembad met wankel trapje waar grind omheen ligt, voor kinderen leuk maar voor ouderen of mensen die wat minder mobiel zijn moeilijk te gebruiken. Kortom huis heeft zeker potentie, uitzicht is prachtig maar wij zullen volgende keer toch even verder zoeken.

Wunderbare Aussicht

Die Aussicht vom Haus über das Meer ist wunderschön. Alles hat tipp topp und problemlos geklappt. Im Moment bauen die Nachbarn an der Umgebung, was teilweise Lärm verursachte. Dies jedoch immer nur zeitweise. Gerne empfehlen wir die Villa weiter.

Beautiful Villa with beautiful view

For the second time we have been in this beautiful villa. You have everything you need for relaxing holidays. We have to little kids and they have been a lot in the garden. The little town San Lorenzo is in a walking distance and also the beaches there. With the car you drive in 10 Minutes to the sandy beaches in Riva Ligure or Arma di Taggia. We had beautiful holidays again!!

Beautiful house with breathtaking ocean view.

This beautiful house is really characteristic, well maintained with a lot of old style details. It has a large fully equipped country style kitchen and a large dining table. The TV room has patio doors connected with a super patio with a breathtaking ocean view. Sun comes up on the left, goes under on the right. First floor has 3 spacious bedrooms and one bathroom, also with authentic details. There is an extra, small apartment, which we didn’t need, but makes the house perfect for 8 people. The garden has several levels. Upper part has a large elevated swimming pool with some loungers. Below there is an herb garden with herbs and vegetables you can use. A little bit lower you enter the first patio (connected with the TV room) with a large dining table which can be covered from the sun with an enormous parasol. Another few steps down you enter the second patio (same stunning view) with several lounge chairs. Ideal for watching the sunset with a nice glass of wine…. It’s a 15-minute walk to the beach and the village center. After crossing the street, you can walk on a nature trail with ocean view. The beach, as well as the village, are small but cozy. There is a bicycle boulevard on which you can get to San Remo by bike. A great day trip and a great town to visit and do some shopping. There is a lot to do in the vicinity but when you stay in this house there is no need to leave. Just relax and enjoy. We loved to stay there and will definitely go back some day.

This is a fine house with a great view over the sea. The terrace is very nice, with several sunny and shadow places all day. The house is very comfortable with a big and well equiped kitchen. Thera are several rooms, who are all oriented towards the sea.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus an guter Lage

Zwar liegt das Ferienhaus nahe der sehr befahrenen Küstenstrasse. Aber beim Haus merkt man davon kaum etwas. Der Blick aufs Meer ist wunderschön und die verschiedenen Plätzchen rund ums Haus sind gemütlich und laden zum Verweilen ein. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, es hat alles was es braucht. Das Pool ist gut gelegen und schön gross. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr genossen!

Petit paradis de tranquillité avec vue exceptionnelle sur la mer !

Villa difficile à trouver, mais ce défaut fait aussi sa principale qualité: sa situation vraiment exceptionnelle ! L'aménagement est bien pensé: hamacs, coin apéro, coin grillade, coin petit déjeuner, coin piscine et chaises longues. Juste top ! Cette location passe de peu à côté de 5 étoiles, car la climatisation aurait mieux passé que des ventilateurs un peu bruyant. L'accès peut être problématique pour une voiture trop basse (petite portion de route pas goudronnée) ou pour des clients avec des problèmes de mobilité (petite montée d'une vingtaine de mètres assez raide à faire à pied). Mais malgré ces petits inconvénients, nous avons vraiment adoré l'endroit. A revenir sans hésitation !

Wonderful setting and lovely house

There were 8 of us staying at Cipressa (3 generations) and we all had a great holiday. The house is large and comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for a family. We particularly appreciated the lovely terraces, well equipped with tables for eating outside. The large tree provides welcome shade, and there is lots of space around the house with easy chairs for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful view. The swimming pool is better than it appears in the photos! It is such a lovely house and garden that it is tempting to do very little except relax in the garden with a book and a glass of wine! However, it is important to be aware that the house is built into the slope of a hill (which means there is a stunning view of the coast) but it also means that the ground is on different levels with steps and slopes unsuitable for very small children and anyone with mobility issues. To drive the car up to the parking area involves a very steep slope with a hazardous drop on one side, and this was the only difficulty we had with the house - and the only reason we awarded 4 stars instead of 5. The Aurelia (coast road) is very busy and we did not consider it safe to walk along (narrow with no footpath) although we note that no other guests mentioned that difficulty. Apart from that we would thoroughly recommend the house. San Lorenzo has amenities for a family holiday - a sandy beach (lovely for swimming) cafes/ ice creams, etc. We recommend the restaurant Antica Piazzetta. We also drove to San Remo and Imperia, - both easily accessible and worth visiting. In fact we all had such a good time we very much hope to return for another holiday.

Nice villa with amazing sea view.

Lovely house, well equipped and beds are very comfortable. A beautiful terrace is in the shadow by a large pine tree. San Lorenzo - San Remo bike path along the coast is a fabulous way to spend a day. The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and for making our own meals and relaxing on the terrace!

perfect relaxing family house

We had a wonderfull two weeks in this beautifull villa. The seaview is stunning and relaxing. The house and terrace are well equiped and the beds are fantastic. We loved the area and made a lot of daytrips. When you come with children from the age of 10 years old, we can recommend the spectacular canyoning trip near Pieve di Teco. Next summer we will book this villa again !

Fabulous setting

We spent a lovely, relaxing week at this villa, which was clean and well-equipped. The views from the property over the sea are beautiful, and it was surprisingly peaceful considering that it is close to the main coast road. We walked down to San Lorenzo for delicious seafood on a couple of evenings, only a short distance along the road you join a footpath alongside the sea and reach San Lorenzo in 20 minutes or so. The garden is steep so young children would need close supervision. The path up to the house is also steep so wouldn't suit anyone with mobility problems. Apart from this I would fully recommend it, plenty to do in the area too if you can drag yourself away from the view! The owner was very friendly and helpful too.

Stunning view

Really enjoyed our week in San Lorenzo al Mare. Villa owner was very good as was the local agent. Villa had everything we needed and the kids loved picking tomatoes and grapes from the garden. The view of the Mediterranean Sea was amazing and the patio was a great pace to watch the world float by.

We are a Dutch family with 3 children. We bought this villa in 2008 and since then we turned it into a little paradise. We like to share this beautifull place with you instead of leaving it empty between our own holidays. In 2022 the villa was again restructured in order to be ecological class A with solar electricity, battery, solar boiler, heating pump etc.

Liguria has the mildest climate and gets more sunshine hours than any other part of Italy. We love this part of Italy because its really authentic and in the local vicinity you will find beaches, marinas, picturesque villages, hills, hamlets which date back centuries (to Medieval times), olive groves, an extensive foot- and cycle path running along the seafront, various footpaths through the hills, cosmopolitan cities etc.
