My wife and I spent 4 wonderful nights here. The place had everything we needed (except bars of soap). There are two liquor stores within close proximity that you can get little things that were forgotten and/or snacks and drinks. There is also a grocery store less than a mile North in Pacific Beach. Anyway, the views to both the ocean and bay are great. We left the sliding glass doors open all the time for the breeze and the sound of the ocean. The condo is not big, but perfect for two. It is also very secure, especially on the top floor. If you are old enough to remember the Get Smart show, entering this condo from the street is like the opening to that show...lots of doors, locks, and an elevator that requires a key. We didn't rent a car but bought 4 day passes to ride the busses and trolley. It worked out great. The condo is between Belmont Park and Pacific Beach (both just about a mile) so we walked and hopped on the bus when we wanted. We are both over 50 but felt safe. We even took the bus to catch a bay cruise and took the bus and trolley to a Padres game. Lots of interesting bars and restaurants close. We had a very nice dinner and Sunday Brunch (we beat the crowd so it was just breakfast) at Saska's which is a classic steakhouse on the Mission Blvd side of the Top of the Beach building. I could go on and on. The place isn't fancy but it's homey, clean, and well situated. George and his wife were very accommodating and very nice. We hope to make this trip a yearly (if not more often) thing.
