Translation 5/5 ★★★★★ Recreation and peace We were in the first October week with 12 people in this very beautiful property. The landlord Pierre Oliver welcomed us very friendly and showed us the house, he provided wine and fruit for us which made us very happy. The inner courtyard offers at any time of day also a sun or shade place depending on what one wishes at the moment. The rooms offer, depending on the location, a great view of the sea or pleasant peace in the back part of the house. The pool is heated to about 25 degrees Celsius. There are enough sunbeds available and also bath toys for the children. The house has several living rooms so that one can withdraw sometimes and does not have to stay in the bedroom. The children's favourite room was the music room with the piano and the table tennis table. We all recovered very well and were very satisfied. The next time we come to Tenerife with so many people I would book it again immediately. ★★★★★ Any time! After a very friendly welcome we found a great house with an inspiring view of La Gomera! Beautiful, spacious rooms with very good bathrooms - except for a renovation - a very nice courtyard and a stunning terrace overlooking the sea. The pool area with large (heated) pool is beautifully planted, the palms are much larger than in the pictures. There were 12 of us, 10 adults and 2 small children and never felt like sitting on each other. Staple foods for starters have been kindly provided and made available by the owner. Thank you Steve. I really appreciate your great review. Our country house, Casa Colonial, is a magnificent representation of traditional architecture of Canary Island during the XVII century. In the south of the island you can also find only two more examples of such architecture. One spacious entrance hall drives visitors to the central courtyard, with is surrounded by a verandah supported by columns of heartwood of Canary Island pine tree. The courtyard is built on a quadrangular plan, being it the lungs of the country house. It was created in order to air the rooms as well as illuminate the dwelling. It is also the place where the family and friends usually get together and the perfect place where children can play. In the middle of the courtyard there is a circular fountain with a font of miller stone from where cool water flows. The 4 corners of the courtyard are decorated with four flowerbeds that give a touch of colour. The Briton Thomas Fyffes, who was an importer of English tea, lived in this house for a long time. Hello Gary. We would like to thank you for your comments regarding your stay in our house. We are a little surprised by your comments because you did not contact us during your stay to tell us about any problems you may have encountered. If you had contacted us we would have made the necessary to bring a professional who would have solved the problem immediately so that everything is up to your expectations. Our guests generally appreciate the first floor bedroom, the bathroom and the living room for its tranquility, the decoration, the sea view and its terrace of 100 M2. We are sorry that this has not been the case for you. We changed the dishwasher which was "temperamental" and repaired very easily and in 5 minutes the oven door. Fortunately you had another professional cook at your disposal very popular with large families and can cook for 14 people and up to 25 people without any problem. We took the necessary steps to solve the problem of teak wood furniture by weighing intervene a carpenter who solved the problem in less than an hour. We also repaired the umbrellas but decided to change them and buy two. We brought in another specialist to deal with the problem of the little mouse and he explained to us how to do it so that it does not happen again. We are really sorry for your experience and know that we have taken note of all your remarks. We strive to welcome the best holidaymakers and make their stay pleasant, with respect for mutual friendliness.
