A lovely apartment in a great location.

A lovely apartment in a great location less than 30 seconds from a lovely small beach and ideal for shops and restaurants. Lucrecia the owner and Sandra were fantastic would definitely recommend for a nice chilled atmosphere and holiday. Will certainly go again. Loved it

Relaxing Holiday at the Sounds of the Sea

An excellent holiday at the Sounds of the Sea. Everything you need is a few steps from the apartment, beach, shops,restaurants, coffe shops, The apartment has everything and an excellent cleanest with an extra cleaning during the stay. The owner and the house keeper are very helpful. Definitely we recommend this apartment for couples and families. And will be returning soon.

Attractive apartment very convenient for the beach and local bars/restaurants

Comfortable rooms with plenty of storage space . Light and airy and not too much noise from the local streets. Little choice of English programs onTV.

Fabulous weeks stay at The Sound of the Sea.

Really enjoyable stay. Apartment is perfect for beach and town. Everything you need including WiFi. Maria came in mid week to change towels and bedding which we really appreciated. Sea view was wonderful from the lounge. Highly recommended. Thanks Lucrecia.

Excellent Holiday!

The apartment was excellent with full facilities including WiFi. The location was perfect and made for a very enjoyable holiday. I would thoroughly recommend it! On the occasion that we needed to contact the owner, she returned our call within minutes and has been very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Another fabulous stay at Sounds Of The Sea

Just back from our fourth stay at 'Sounds Of The Sea'!! Had another fantastic holiday!! This apartment is in a fabulous location right in the centre of Playa Blanca close to shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. Yes you can actually hear the sounds of the sea! The apartment is bright and airy and has all the amenities you would need. It is very well kept by the housekeeper Maria she does a great job. We have found it a pleasure to deal with owner Lucrecia who makes bookings very easy and also goes out of her way to make sure your holiday in Sounds Of The Sea is as enjoyable as possible. We are already looking forward to returning again to stay in this wonderful apartment!

Petit désagrément mais bel appartement

Nous avons réservé une semaine dans cet appartement avec mon compagnon. Nous avons malheureusement rencontré quelques problèmes durant notre séjour. (-) Nous n’avons pas reçu de code pour la boîte à clés à l’arrivée et après avoir appelé et laissé des messages à l’hôte sur son téléphone et sur Abritel, sans succès, nous avons essayé de trouver le code par nous meme et par la plus grande des chances nous l’avons trouvé ! Heureusement sinon nous aurions dû payer pour un autre logement ou encore dormir dans la voiture. Effectivement en voyant les poubelles et les serviettes sales des anciens vacanciers nous nous sommes douté qu’il y avait un problème. Il semble qu’il y ait eu un problème de calendrier, je ne saurai pas dire si c’est la faute de l’hôte ou d’Abritel, en tout cas ça m’a personnellement causé du stress pendant mon séjour. Un matin nous partions pour une excursion et on nous attendait devant la porte pour nous demander presque ce qu’on faisait là. L’hôte nous a ensuite enfin contacté et me criait presque dessus pour me demander qui avait donné le code, j’ai du lui répété 3 fois qu’on l’avait trouvé par nous même. Elle m’a demandé toutes les preuves de notre réservation qui était bien confirmée et payée. Au final elle s’est excusé pour notre dernier jour. (+) Vraiment dommage car l’appartement a du potentiel! Il est très bien placé, vue sur la mer et possède tous les équipements nécessaires. Je conseille malgré tout cet appartement mais soyez bien sûr de recevoir le code pour entrer dans l’appartement avant d’arriver ;). Nous n’en voulons à personne nous avons passé malgré tout des très bonnes vacances !

Superlocatie!

Prima appartement op een geweldige locatie in Playa Blanca. In het centrum met alle mogelijke voorzieningen en veel winkelaanbod op minimale loopafstand. Boulevard, restaurants en strand op 50 meter. En toch... een oase van rust, zowel overdag als ‘s nachts. Prima contacten met de eigenaresse Maria en beheerder Ana die altijd voor ons klaarstond en ook nog wat Nederlands verstaat en spreekt. Het horeca-aanbod is hier op een goed niveau. De grote Brisa Marina is OK, de beste voor ons waren Romantica en La Chalanita (schuin tegenover het appartement). We komen graag hier nog eens terug!

Posto e vista mare incantevole

Maria host eccezionale contatti con messaggi usando traduttore cordialissima , disponibile x qualsiasi esigenza . Alloggio pulitissimo confermo biancheria in loco ,asciugamani spiaggia, ombrellone e accessori vari da mare . Stoviglie perfette , piano cottura , frigo, lavatrice ,bollitore , forno microonde, tostapane perfetti . Metodo di consegna chiavi molto carino non posso divulgare x motivi di sicurezza . Maria si è sempre messa in contatto x sapere se tutto andava alla perfezione benché noi fossimo italiani e non parliamo inglese ma il traduttore ha funzionato perfettamente . Tutto sommato abbiamo fatto una vacanza rilassante , meravigliosa passeggiate lungomare a proprio due passi da casa . Dopo circa 8 giorni da fine vacanza rimborsati della cauzione x eventuali danni Consiglio vivamente un soggiorno in questa casa Vorrei solo e x questo motivo ho messo 4 stelle che venisse precisato che : è vero l’appartamento dispone di due camere da letto ma il sito non dice che se ci sono solo 2 persone una camera da letto è chiusa a chiave . A chi imputare questa errata informazione non saprei Maria ha risposto al mio reclamo che il sito ha fatto un po’ di confusione Complimenti x tutto Maria e grazie x l’accoglienza Spero di tornarci quanto prima

very homely spacious and clean convenient for shopping and bus station

We found the property comfortable and relaxing near shops buses port and beach. It was surprisingly quiet despite being in the centre of everything. it was maintained to a high standard and a cleaning service was excellent half way through our 10 days.

+ : We stayed here for 7 nights .The location is excellent, very clean and lot of lights. To eat the breakfast and enjoy the sunrise and hear the sound of the sea was just wonderful. You are next to a seafront with many restaurants and cafes lining. Very central with the restaurants nearby and lots of nice shops in the street behind the location. Just great. The owner Lucrecia was very helpful at any time, nothing was to much trouble. - : For us just one thing could be improved. It was unclear for us that we had rent an apartement with two bedrooms and there are different prices and conditions for using 1 or 2 bedrooms. It is announced very late at the end of the describing. Thanks to Lucrecia, she explained us well the situation and finally we could use two bedrooms. It was a very nice staying and we had a great time at this beautiful island. Thank you

Excellent location! Excellent apartment, within sight & sound of the sea!

Beautifully sunny apartment, light and spacious. Plenty of storage space and comfy seating in large longer / diner! Where seated for breakfast you can see the sea, hear the sea, and enjoy morning sun! Great apartment. Location is excellent. Out the apartment, across small courtyard / plaza, down some steps and on to the beach for your morning swim! Perhaps not an apartment for those with mobility issues on stairs as access is by external staircase. But this first floor (top floor) location gives excellent view out to sea from large opening windows that allow in lot of light and sounds of the sea when these windows are opened! You are right next to beautiful seafront work with many restaurants and cafes lining seafront. You can walk to Rubicon marina for other bars, or nearer still there are many bars with live music at center commercial Papagayo! Where we danced till midnight and sometimes beyond before retiring back to cafe nearer the apartment.The local bars and restaurants are mainly closed by midnight so your sleep won't be disturbed at this central location, between seafront and pedestrianised shopping street of calle Limones. There are three great beaches to enjoy, one on your doorstep in Playa Blanca, one at Papagayo and another at Playa Dorado. If you want to venture on ferry to nearby island of Fuerteventura (you can see it from seafront) then old harbour is just ten minute stroll away. Or just sit and watch world go by at seafront cafe. Lots of restaurants on seafront to spend evening and many "local" bars doing good tapas for those venturing away from seafront. We stayed from end of September into early October when weather was hot, (high twenties centigrade) dry and sunny!

Fabulous Location

Stayed here for 9 nights, very central, extremely helpful owner, nothing was to much trouble. Accommodation was comfortable, with the sounds of the sea, every time you opened the large front room windows. Had a wonderful holiday, and was reluctant to leave.

Very nice House

I have been in this house for 4 days very nice and clean, located in a very nice spot of Playa Blanca. Mrs. Lucrecia very helpful and kind. I highly recommend it. i hope to come back

All facilities on the doorstep

This is a lovely clean and spacious property, really close to all the many bars, restaurants, shops and beaches. The only downside is- it is quite noisy, noises stated from about 7 most mornings It is on a noisy shopping street and situated above the shops, (who have very noisy shutters when opening up), this isn’t until about 9.30, but if you want a lay in beyond that then I wouldn’t recommend. Our transport from the airport was arranged by the owner for a fee , they waited for our late flight, however it was a small dirty car, 3 of us had to squash in the back of a 2 door car and they really struggled to get our small amount of luggage in, this was disappointing

I have been coming to Playa Blanca since 2010, and I feel at home every time when I come in our holiday. This wonderful and relaxing apartment which overlook the sea.
I have named this apartment Sounds of the Sea this is because day and night you can hear the sounds of the ocean.
I use the apartment for the holidays throughout the year, when am here I enjoyed my early morning swimming, after the swimming I have my regular morning coffee and in the evening I enjoy eating in or out at the various restaurants or coffee shops within the town.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

All day sunshine and offers a view to the sea and onto the fascinating Calle Limones, pedestrianised high street. Its a great location for a swimming, eating shopping just walk down the steps, which means any walking you do will be absolute of your own choice. No car is needed unless you wish to visit other places on the Island.
