The perfect home for a trip in Split!

This accomodation is a perfect place where stay for a trip in Split. It is perfectly equipped and located in a calm neighborhood and close to the town and the beach. The host are really welcoming and available for any question or request. I recommend this place at 100%!

Well located to town and beaches

Family of three adults stayed for 4 nights.,Sandra helped with transport from the airport which was very appreciated given our planes late arrival after midnight. The apartment was exactly as expected , clean good air conditioning great location with fruit market, bakery and supermarkets within easy walking distance. It’s about 10-15 mins walk into the old town and ferries and 5 mins from beaches so great location and very quiet at night

Wonderful Split accommodation

We stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect for 2 couples with 2 large bedrooms, 2 shower rooms with toilet, large lounge/ kitchen area. The actual apartment and location were not only close to the city centre and the beach but also bus routes. Our host,Sandra and her brother were extremely helpful and made our stay in Split a memorable one. the beach

Absolutely the best!

If you want a very nice apartment close to the Riva (the promenade in front of the Deocletian Palace) this is it!! This is a completely remodeled 2 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies in the heart of the city. We absolutely loved it! No attention to detail was spared to make our stay very comfortable - including the Nesspresso coffee machine with capsules, monogramed sheets, air conditioning in every room, washing machine in the bathroom, and much, much more! Sitting at night on a large deck in very comfortable furniture sipping drinks was a joy! We absolutely loved Akvarel Apartment - thank you Sandra!

Amazing Oasis

When you first arrive the area looks a little rough, but it is very safe and really close to everything. It is one of the nicest VRBO’s we have ever stayed at, lots of little touches and amenities inside. The hosts were great as well!! Would easily come again!!

Great apt near Old Town!

Very convenient walk to Old Town and wome nice restaurants near too. Sandra and her brother were very easy to communicate with and the apartment was lovely 😍

Beautiful apartment, average neighborhood

Sandra was a very helpful host who was very quick with responses. The property is really nice inside with all of the amenities you'd need. Loved that each room had its own air conditioner you could control. The washing machine was a HUGE bonus because we didn't have to travel with as many clothes. The neighborhood wasn't that beautiful. SO much grafitti in Split and our neighborhood had plenty. It's very post WWII-looking architecture (think new Berlin) around the apartment. BUT only a 5-minute walk to the beach. Definitely do Ovcice beach rather than the more crowded one next to it. You can rent chairs (get there early) or get a table at the cafe and camp out there. Can also rent paddle boards for very cheap ($10/hr). Apartment was also only a 10-minute straight walk to the Old Town which is where we had all of our meals and spent our time when we weren't on beach or doing excursions on boats, kayaking or river rafting. Overall a very clean apartment with great amenities. Safe neighborhood, but just run-down. Close to beach & Old Town.

Fantastic

I can't praise this apartment enough. First of all, it's in a great location, just a 15-minute walk from the centre of Split. More than that, however, the apartment has everything: air conditioning in every room, a washing machine, a dishwasher, comfortable furniture, a big fridge, wi fi, two balconies, two bathrooms, etc. In addition, Dusko, who met us when we arrived and showed us round the property, was friendly and helpful. To summarise the whole experience in one word: fantastic.

Perfect place to stay in Split.

I loved this apartment. It was immaculately clean, so comfortable and the location is perfect - close to the beach and close to old town. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone going to Split, especially with a family.

Immaculately clean, cool, comfortable neat old town.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, cool retreat but still close proximity to town. I’d highly recommend this property. The bed was so comfortable with luxury linens. Cleaning service and a perfectly furnished kitchen were a great bonus.

Nice appartment, well located

Sandra is very kind and available. The appartement is nice and well located between the beaches and the old center (10 minutes walking distance). It’s also easy to park the car in the streets around. We really enjoy our stay!

The apartment was in a great location. Close to old town and the beach...all within walking distance. Rino the driver who picked us up from the airport, very informative and also the apartment owner was too. Apartment is very clean, comfortable and close to a market. Would love to stay here again!!!

Our First Stay in Split

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, bright, upgraded, clean & comfortable apartment. Sandra and her brother, Dusko were so accommodating. We really appreciated their care and attention during our arrival and check-in process. The complimentary bottle of wine that awaited us on the kitchen table was a lovely and welcome touch. Our only suggestion is possibly a map to the apartment from the bus station available online as well as beach towels in the apartment to use at Bacvice beach as it is so close and a lovely place to go for a swim in the beautiful Adriatic Sea. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone that we know who travels to Split.

Great apartment, great location, great host.

We stayed here as a family of 4. 2 adults, a 3 year old and a 4 month old. The apartment is so clean and had everything we could need. The rooms are big and a cot was provided. Sandra arranged for Rino the taxi driver to meet us at the airport. He was super helpful throughout our trip. Location wise, everything was in a comfortable walking distance

Great Location - smart, modern - great hosts!

Everything about this apartment is first class. Sandra was great to work with throughout every step. The apartment is truly in a great location. We didn’t have a car and it was an easy walk to the Palace, the sea, restaurants, markets, etc. Her brother met us and explained everything about the apartment and gave us great recommendations for restaurants, Konoba Nevera and Konoba Dvor - excellent! The apartment is modern with nice beds, appliances, etc. The balcony with the beautiful outdoor furniture is a nice place to sit after a busy day out. The taxi driver, Rino, whom Sandra recommended was the best - easy to find at the airport, informative about the area and also made great recommendations of what we should see. We used his services to get to Dubrovnik - felt we were in the best of hands! Thank you all for a great experience.

The apartment is small but lovely - and in a great location. We appreciated the attention to detail and the very comfortable beds. Sandra was quick to respond to any questions we had. Her brother Dusko met us at the apartment with a very nice bottle of wine as a welcoming gesture. Much appreciated! We would recommend the apartment to others. Lovely place, modern and well appointed.

This was a lovely apartment on a quiet street about 10 minutes from Old Town, the ferry and the beach. The living area is small but worked just fine since not much time was spent there. Everything in the apartment was of good quality down to their sheets monogrammed with the name of their place. The hosts brother greeted us and was thorough in explaining the workings of the apartment. He also arranged transportation to the airport for our departure. Overall, this was a great choice for us and would highly recommend staying here while visiting the beautiful city of Split.

The Bacvice district is the best residential area in the city. Everything you need is within walking distance.
There are many parks around, children playgrounds and beautiful seaside promenade for long walks regardless the season.
