Una propiedad con un diseño sensible y bien acabado en una posición privilegiada en un hermoso pueblo costero con vistas al puerto, pequeña playa de arena y el paseo marítimo. El apartamento ofrece alojamiento elegante, confortable de dos plantas para una escapada romántica para dos personas. El dormitorio, con baño con ducha y vestidor, está en el nivel inferior y se accede al piso superior por una escalera de caracol desde el comedor. Hay puertas exteriores en ambos niveles a los aparcamientos gratuitos en las afueras
El impresionante salón de la planta superior está hecho de abeto douglas.
La propiedad está muy bien aislada. Hay calefacción por suelo radiante en la planta baja y una estufa de leña y radiador en el piso de arriba.
Hay dos televisores de pantalla plana, un reproductor de DVD y un centro de música con una selección de CD, DVD y un montón de libros para que pueda navegar.

We enjoyed our stay in Portpatrick the house was very comfortable and had everything for our needs , the nearby hotels and cafe are great for a holiday with no cooking , we would consider visiting again as many of the local attractions are closed until Easter .

The property is lovely, decor, and all in house amenities are super, the situation and aspect outstanding. The host ,Frank, was delightful, Christine was unwell. A fantastic place to stay.

Our host were excellant made our stay memorable excellant location easy for walks close to bus stop to stranraer and beyond good places to eat highly recommend the Port Pantry for breakfast opens 9 30we will certainly try book there again if we get the chance to come back thanks Alice and Frank

Great Apartment With Great Views

An ideal let for a couple but there is an additonal bed for two more if needed. Has all the crockery you will need along with some basic condiments to start you off. The location does not disappoint - the view from the upstairs lounge is one I could spend many hours looking at. Property is clean and in good order and the owners close by if you need them. Comfortable and quirky - I loved it. The village is friendly and people will pass the time of day with you. Visited The Port Pantry for light lunch; the Harbour House does a good breakfast and The Crown is very friendly.

A perfect retreat

It was a really lovely place to stay, apart from one little hiccup but it was dealt with very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. We received 20% discount from their shop. which was a pleasant surprise and some beautiful items to purchase. There was plenty to see and do or if you want to just do nothing, then there were peaceful places to find. The local mini golf and bowls club were extremely friendly and helpful. The whole harbour made you feel very welcome. We thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed the time in Scotland

Great property in a great location

This apartment was fully equipped although we would have liked a small freezer too!. Very comfortable and well appointed throughout. Close to shops and restaurants/pubs. The owners were very friendly and helpful in offering suggestions for days out etc. Would love to go back if we were in that region again.

First class apartment, and wonderful owners

You wont find a better apartment in Portpatrick nor more friendly owners. Booking through Owners direct though is a nightmare....We booked and the owners confirmed our booking, and stated they did not want a deposit until we arrived. Owners direct issued us an ultimatum however, Either we paid £100 or we would lose the booking. We contacted the owner, who confirmed she had the accommodation was reserved, and did not want a deposit. We contacted Owners Direct with this info. They said they would reply within three days, but again said if I did not pay £100 by the following morning, I would lose the booking. I paid, under duress. As holiday time approached Owners Direct contacted me to say I had paid my £48 booking fee, plus £100 deposit, the balance being due on arrival. On arrival the owners knew nothing about me having paid £100, and asked if it had been taken from my account. I could not confirm that there and then, so they very kindly said pay nothing more till you get home to check your account. When I got home, I checked my Owners Direct account which confirmed I had paid £100 deposit, but when I checked my bank account, they had not taken the sum asked for. Owners Direct are a pain in the neck, and I would never book through them again. The owners of this apartment are very fine people, and the apartment is first class, we will return there, but NOT via Owners Direct!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse Apartment. Was beautiful inside and had everything we needed. I was there with my two children but would be a real gem for a romantic getaway. I would definitely book again.

Great house, great location

Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2017. The house is very nice, all furniture and decorations are very nice, all very top quality and beautiful mirrors, clocks etc. The view over the harbour and bay is beautiful, the upstairs is very cosy and you can imagine relaxing here and enjoying the view. Portpatrick is a great place to visit, lots of pubs and restaurants close by. Campbell's restaurant is great and the Lighthouse pottery sell lots of nice jewellery and trinkets. A small down side, the bedroom is downstairs and the bathroom is upstairs, also the wardrobe space is upstairs but these little quirks add to to character of the place. We would definitely go back.

Stunning property in a beaufiful location

We really enjoyed our week in Portpatrick. This lovely house is right on the harbour side, two minutes walk from the pubs and with a gorgeous view across the harbour and little beach. Lovely walking locally especially along the coast. The house was very comfortable and well laid out with all the facilities you'd need. The owners' home and shop is next door and they were friendly and helpful advising us on local walks and even lending us maps. Wish we could have stayed longer!

First impression is a wow factor. The upstairs lounge with the Scottish Douglas fir ceiling and pine floor, great views is amazing! Property was comfortably furnished to a very high standard. Warm and welcoming hosts. Spotless. The owners have thought of every little detail to make things more comfortable for the visitor. Highly recommended

This place delivers. Spotless, more than well equipped and tastefully furnished with a log burner to boot. It offers comfort and great views over the harbour, busy pubs and hotels. The owners are very friendly and accomodating despite them being very busy with their pottery business and shop. Its a must visit gem

Perfect winter break in this hidden treasure!

My partner and I spent a weekend here in November and we didn't want to leave! The two levels of the apartment are beautifully kitted out with everything you need in the open plan kitchen for dining in or you have a great seafood restaurant right next door. I could easily have spent the whole weekend relaxing in front of the log fire with a book and sipping whiskey. But it is well worth exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. The Mull of Galloway lighthouse is pretty special. This accommodation is very impressive with great views of the bay. Owners Christine and Frank were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Really excellent in every way.

Portpatrick is a beautiful place from wherever you look, and the views from this property could not be better. It is centrally placed on the pier and alongside the quality craftshop and next to Campbells excellent restaurant. The accommodation is not only spotlessly clean and beautifully laid out but has all the facilities of a home from home. We could not recommend it more.

I was born in Portpatrick and returned after college and some work experience to set up a pottery workshop with my partner, which we ran for about 10 years. This developed into a a retail craft shop, selling quality craft goods from around the world. I developed the Lighthouse apartment from a store office and workshop just a few yards from my current shop and flat, so am available on site if any problems occur or information is required. Obviously I know Dumfries and Galloway intimately and can offer information and knowledge of the area to our guests.

I built this property in 1993 as part of my business. I love the area and have lived here virtually for the whole of my working life. It is a quiet and peaceful part of Scotland and not yet fully appreciated. It has much to offer and very beautiful.
Portpatrick is ideal for walking, golfing as well as a centre for wider reaching sightseeing tours - including Belfast (Titanic), the Galloway hills and world famous gardens, historic castles and our local distillery.
