Villa Katie es una hermosa villa espaciosa de 3 camas con piscina privada. Está cerca de la playa / paseo y a pocos pasos de tiendas, bares y restaurantes. Villa Katie tiene televisión inglesa y wifi gratis. El aire acondicionado está en un medidor de monedas. Hay fantásticos paseos en cada dirección hacia el aeropuerto o hacia Puerto Del Carmen.

Home from home

This was our first time staying in a Villa and this place was great. It had everything thing we needed and was a real home from home. We enjoyed the location as it was easy to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. On street parking close by was good and the free WiFi was also a nice addition. I would stay here again.

Great property & great location.

My extended family & I enjoyed a great holiday over Christmas in Casa Katie. The villa has every facility we needed and felt very spacious. The garden and pool area was a great sun trap on the windy days. It is located near to everything, beach, shops, restaurants etc and is a short taxi ride from Puerto Del Carmen & the airport. The place was spotless & very well looked after. We were made feel very welcome & I would highly recommend Casa Katie.

Perfect in Every Way

Villa Katie was exactly what we needed for our family of 6. The property is well maintained, clean, spacious and located within a short walk of shops, restaurants playground and the beach. The ensuite bathroom has been newly refurbished and is lovely. The pool is great for adults and kids alike with a shallow stepped area. There is an outdoor dining area under cover and comfortable sun loungers provided too. Wifi is excellent and the double three pin socket was an unexpected treat! All kitchen essentials provided including a large fridge freezer with ice maker, microwave, washing machine and dish washer. Would highly recommend.

Villa katie

The information pack in villa needs updating as there was no gas bbq and the charcoal on e was to small. There was no exit to the back laneo the beach as the door was locked and there was no cubard for blankets etc on the right coming in the front door as stated in the info pack as part of the villa has been converted in to a two bed villa 9a the outside dining area had no lights and there wasn't any other seating or shaded area around the pool.

with service and communication poor not happy being told to leave when no time communicated

impression of property hood.but no towels were replenished or sheets changed for 10 days.....and we were never told of the checkout time from owner and it wasn't on the list in the book provided so we're told by the maintenance guy at 10.30 when he arrived after we had asked him already the week before and he didn't know then..and also didn't tell us straight away when he arrived that we had to vacate for 11 so service and communication very poor

Amazing Villa with pool area

Audrey is very easy to deal with and very accommodating. We were able to check in early and check out late due to our flight times. The Villa is a decent size and pool area is ideal for kids. Had an amazing stay and will be booking again.

Lovely holiday at villa Katie

Took our three young children for half term. Perfect villa with child friendly pool and hundreds of channels with all the latest films. Comfy beds and good location.

Fabulous Villa but too near Airport for us

This is a lovely villa and has everything you could possibly want. Owner is lovely to deal with and any issues we had dealt with very quickly. However the noise from the airport is intrusive especially if like us you like lazing by the pool most days. Also the smell of aviation fuel is noticable. That said the number of flights varied day to day so some days we hardly noticed them. If you're out and about a lot this would be a perfect villa just not so good for us couch potatoes.

Great holiday in Villa Katie

Villa Katie was a lovely surprise it was much bigger than we thought. As two couples with a baby the lay out of the villa made it possible to still have some privacy. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you could possibly need and the utility area a bonus. On a practical level there was always enough hot water for us all to have hot showers. The pool and outside area was amazing and very relaxing. There is aircraft noise but you soon get used to it and it didn’t bother us at all. There were plenty of towels and cushions for the sunbeds. No rush here for sunbeds! Audrey was a pleasure to deal with and was very accommodating will all of our requests and Paul kept the pool lovely and clean despite the gale force winds we had on a few occasions. Unfortunately the welcome book was missing and we hadn’t realised we were supposed to cover the pool to keep it cleaner until Paul told us. The cleaning and linen change is done once a week which is really useful but with your own washing machine you can please yourself how often you want to change. Villa Katie is in a good spot, 8 minutes to the first restaurant,bars and Spar and a further 10 minutes walk to more bars and restaurant. We walked for miles, turn left to Playa Honda about 50 minutes along the promenade to some really nice restaurants or turn right and walk 40 minutes into the centre of Puerto Del Carmen. It’s all very flat perfect for pushchairs or wheelchairs. If I had to find any negative points it would be that there was no umbrella or stand as we needed extra shade for the baby. I would not hesitate to recommend the villa to anyone you will definitely have a great time.

Fantastic villa and holiday

We had a lovely 12 days holiday at Villa Katie. It's perfect- spacious with all mod cons and a fab pool. The pool area is in the sun all day. Great bbq outside and a nice touch to have washing up liquid, towels, beach towels, hair dryer etc etc and cleaning materials supplied. Saves having to do such a big shop for a short period. The fridge with ice and filtered water was welcomed. Location is great and only a short walk to beach and restaurants. A taxi to Puerto Del Carmen only 5 euros. Great communication and loved the villa! Only con was paying for air con but we didn't need it too much. Overall best villa we have stayed in.

2nd time to this villa and everything as good if not better .

Absolutely lovely villa perfect location everything you need is there for you. Great communication with both Audrey and Paul the pool man . Would highly recommend this villa and will hopefully returning again .

Perfect Villa Katie

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday staying in this beautiful Villa. It is very well equipped with everything you will need for a perfect holiday, the pool area is very private and not overlooked at all, the location is fantastic with the beach, bars and restaurants only a five minute walk away. Audrey the owner was so easy to work with answering any questions we had very quickly. We had a problem with the internet when we arrived and Paul sorted out within the hour. We loved it so much we are going to book again for next year

Nice villa, good location

Well equipped and clean accommodation. Air conditioning a bonus in hot weather. Poolside area and pool received sun all day with total privacy and a nice shaded area with table and chairs.

Easy location

Near the airport, could hear the planes but the property is at the end of the runway so expected. Quiet development, not over looked, close to sea, bars and restaurants. Had an issue with the pool but Paul resolved it as quickly as he could. Clean and well equipped.

A great property, fantastic location

We had a great holiday at Villa Katie. The house was perfect for our family and friends. Had everything we needed and it’s well looked after. The location is perfect at the quiet end of the beach but easy walk to the shops and bars etc. The airport is really close so that’s handy. The sound of the planes coming over is only a very minor inconvenience and for a couple of weeks holiday it’s quite interesting. I don’t think they come over in the night and you don’t notice them when you’re inside. The owner and her “team” were all great and really helpful to us.

Excellent villa

Just had a great week at this villa. In a very quiet area but only a couple of minutes walk from the beach and a further 5 minutes stroll to numerous bars, restaurants, bike hire, supermarkets and shops. Villa has every thing you could possibly want. Hopefully we will be back later in the year.

Our family spent many years living in Lanzarote and still go back to visit regularly. Lanzarote is a beautiful easy going place and Matagorda is right on the cusp of Puerto Del Carmen but without the hustle & bustle which makes it the perfect getaway. It has a lovely flat promenade which makes it perfect for a stroll anytime of the day or night. We loved living there and only returned to Ireland for our daughters to finish their education. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
