Hermosa casa recientemente renovada de mediados de siglo situado en .66 acres en la calle 13 de De Anza Country Club. 2 habitaciones con camas king size y baño privado que ofrecen el pie de ducha y acceso directo al patio trasero y piscina. Nuestra casa de vacaciones está totalmente equipada para todas sus necesidades. Juguetes para la piscina, Kettler mesa de ping pong, cancha de tejo, una magnifica piscina privada y zona de patio y cocina totalmente equipada. Las fotografías de nuestra casa hablan por sí mismos.

Our Return to Borrego

Over many years we have enjoyed the Borrego area.This was a terrific home base for the weekend,It was very spacious and pool was great and worked perfect for heading out to our 4 wheeling expeditions.Hope to return from time to time.

Perfect!! Just what we needed!!

This place is absolutely amazing! Just what the listing said it would be and then some. Stayed here for my girlfriend’s 40th birthday and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The pool was amazing, the stargazing left us in awe. Truly a perfect getaway!

Oasis in the desert

My family and I stayed for a couple of nights. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the pool and the fabulous views to the mountains! Very relaxing weekend!

Wonderful Property Great Location!

This is a lovely home, well equipped with just everything you would need, great layout, great location (except why does the De Anza golf club water before the sun goes down and why do they water on the pavement??).

Awesome place to stay in Borrego

Planned on staying four nights but we had such a great time we decided to stay for another. Everything you could need is provided... comfortable beds, lots of room, well appointed kitchen, and plenty of light from outside. Pool was fabulous. Stated up until late into the night sitting poolside and stargazing. Very relaxing and quiet. We loved the backyard landscaping and views of the mountains. Charlie was an excellent host - very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended. Can't wait to come back again.

Mother-Daughter-Doogie Getaway

Very clean property, beautiful scenery/views. Perfect spot for stargazing. Extremely quiet, peaceful and serene. Property manager was very kind, communicative, went out of his way to check in personally to make sure that we got in OK and that we had all the information correct for check in. Even the landscapers and cleaning staff were as sweet as could be. Look forward to staying here in the future, thank you for your hospitality! Tina & Brooke :)

Incredible Property!

My wife and I spent a few days in May at Charlie's De Anza Drive property. We enjoy Borrego Springs and Mid-Century Modern architecture and this residence is amazing. The attention paid to detail and the quality of the work done to restore the property is truly incredible. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and the vast majority of homes show pride of ownership. We took a walk or run through the neighborhood daily. The house was very clean, kitchen well stocked, and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed the many varieties of birds around the house. The pool is not heated, but very refreshing once we adjusted to the water temperature. Charlie was a super attentive host and VERY accessible for any questions we had. We HIGHLY recommend Charlie and this property for those who enjoy the desert and Mid Century architecture.

Nice desert property.

House was nice inside. Very clean. Awesome kitchen with everything you would need for cooking any meal. Bed was comfortable. One bedroom was cooler overall which in the summer is important. Outside front patio was very nice in the morning to sit and have coffee and watch the sun come over the hill to the east. Pool area was nice, plenty of furniture available. Only negative thing and this is not really Charlie’s fault was the pool was dirty, now the week that we were there the area was getting some summer storms roll through and there was wind every day so we had to skim the pool before we could use it everyday. Not a big deal. We have stayed at about 8 properties in Borrego and this is our new favorite. Will be back.

Quiet Retreat

This house and location was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to get away from the fireworks with our dog and it was the quietest place on earth! The house is perfect for one couple or two couples as it has two master suites on either wing of the house. Ranch style, kitchen and great room in the middle. Fully upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. Place was clean. AC cooled the house down immediately and worked great(was well over 100 outside). The little town nearby is cute and has what you need but I recommend picking up your main courses at a store before you come as just the basics are available in town. The pool was very relaxing at night and no joke....the most unbelievable view of "space" you can find on dry land. Lay back in the pool and stare up...the Milky Way in HD. Just a note, if you are taking a small dog, just be careful...especially in the evenings or early mornings. This is whole part of CA. is absolute coyote country. Although there are a million rabbits the coyotes are probably full on, and would likely not even try to approach you, you don't want your dog chasing after them if you see them. We only heard them twice at night, never saw any. Just a precaution. Hands down, I totally recommend this place. We hope the owner will have us back. Charlie was a pleasure to deal with and very attentive. Thanks Charlie!!

DE ANZA COUNTRY CLUB NEIGHBORHOOD GEM

This gem of a house is perfect for two couples. We just spent Christmas and it was wonderful. It is very clean! We cooked wonderful dinners every night from Cornish Hens to Beef Wellington -- the kitchen had everything one cook could possible need! Fully stocked! The living room is comfortable and perfect for family time with a big screen TV. Internet worked -- but the area in general is known for a few issues. Still, overall we had internet when we needed it. My cell phone did not work at the house, but my husband's did. Beds were very comfortable memory foam and bathrooms were well stocked with towels, and toiletry items including hair dryers. They also have very nice bikes in the garage that are available for use. Borrego is known for its biking so this was perfect for my sister and brother in law....but bring your own helmets. The weather was very chilly at night, but the heater was fantastic. Unfortunately, the pool was not heated but there is so much else to do in Borrego (Bike, Four wheel, hike, walk, explore, yoga etc) we didn't really miss it. Charlie, the manager, was absolutely wonderful! He was "on it" even before we arrived making sure we were all set for our Christmas Vacation. Thank you Charlie!!! And finally, if you don't know this neighborhood of Borrego -- you should. It is by far the nicest in all Borrego. 5 minutes from restaurants and stores. And if you play golf...well...just walk out the back door! The De Anza Country Club is a little pricey but totally worth it and the Borrego Springs RV and Resort 9-hole is absolutely fabulous! We had a great time and will definitely be back -- plus my sis lives right around the corner so this was more than convenient!!!! Rent this house!!!

Hi Gail: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Your group is welcome back anytime and it was fun hosting you! To add a little more information, DeAnza Country Club was a private club until this year (2017). They are now transitioning to public/private model and are still working out some of the "public" bugs. They do have a golf special that is available at Underpar.com and at the Borrego Springs Chamber of Commerce that is $65 for 18 holes with a cart. I think their goal is to be competitive with the other courses in town, so it is worth checking out as it is a beautiful golf course. With respect to our swimming pool, it would be very expensive to heat in the winter months, but guests love it from approximately May 1 to October 1, which is the time your really want to use it! Finally, just to set the record straight, Linda and I are the owners of the house. I know that rental houses that are "managed" do not receive the same level of care that owner rented houses do. We have a lot of pride of ownership and do our best to make sure my guests have a fun and enjoyable stay. Thanks again for your review and we hope to host you again in the coming year! Beautiful view

This house was uniquely set up and very comfortable. The seating arrangement in the living room was set for conversation, the kitchen large and spacious for cooking and the beds very comfy! The swimming pool was at a comfortable temp and we loved the diving board (so many pics). Sitting outside was my favorite because the view of the mountains with all the trees around the property, looked like a painting. I will be back to visit this place for sure. Thank you Charles for the uniquely beautiful adventure!

Borrego Springs in the Summer

We had an AMAZING stay! The house had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend in the desert. Did a few early morning short hikes (its very hot this time of year), visited the Sky Art, and had a lovely dinner at Red Ocotillo. Plus, played a round at De Anza and made a pit stop for lunch since the house is right along the course (we were the last scheduled tee time, so no risk of holding other golfers up). We spent a LOT of time in the pool too. Overall, a great weekend had by all! Even got to catch some of the Purseus Showers despite a very full moon. Charles, the property manager, was the best --- very attentive, responsive, and hospitable. We would love to visit again sometime soon!

Nice home with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Great AC and WiFi with a wonderful pool and views. Charlie checked in with us multiple times and is a wonderful host but we had no problems!

2 senior couples on winter getaway

Borrego Springs was a great winter getaway for us. This house was well equipped and comfortable for 2 senior couples. Charlie was helpful. The facility was clean, well furnished and comfortable.
