La villa se beneficia de un amplio espacio al aire libre con vistas ininterrumpidas al valle y la montaña. Hay una magnífica piscina privada con la oportunidad de sentarse y relajarse en los escalones de la piscina y disfrutar de los chorros de jacuzzi que se han instalado en el área de descanso de la piscina. Al lado de la piscina hay una ducha para refrescarse durante el clima cálido. Hay una hermosa terraza de travertino a un lado de la piscina con muebles de ratán con cojines rellenos. Hay una sombrilla de 4 metros en la terraza, que es un área encantadora para dar sombra durante el día y relajarse con bebidas por la noche. La propiedad se beneficia de una variedad de áreas de descanso con 2 juegos de mesas y sillas, 6 tumbonas y una hamaca, así como un jardín con césped al lado de la propiedad. Al llegar a la villa, hay un amplio espacio de estacionamiento para hasta 4 autos con un área de estacionamiento para 2 autos. El camino pavimentado al lado de la villa te lleva a un porche de entrada. La puerta principal conduce a un salón con una nueva cocina abierta totalmente equipada con unidades de color crema brillante, encimeras de granito negro y horno eléctrico Bosch, vitrocerámica y extractor. La cocina conduce al comedor. También hay un baño nuevo abajo. La villa tiene pisos de porcelanato en todas partes. El amplio salón tiene una chimenea abierta con estufa de leña, aire acondicionado, 2 sofás, 2 sillones y una mesa de café, todo con capacidad para 6 personas. Hay un televisor de pantalla plana de 42 pulgadas para ver DVD y una base para iPod para escuchar música y cargar la mayoría de los dispositivos Apple. La propiedad también se beneficia del acceso ILIMITADO GRATUITO a Internet junto con una PS3 y juegos. Hay puertas de patio en el salón que conducen directamente a una gran terraza de tejas en la parte delantera de la propiedad con un techo de tejas y luces turcas encima. Las vistas ininterrumpidas desde la terraza son realmente impresionantes. Este es un lugar ideal para cenar al aire libre y disfrutar de la paz y la tranquilidad que ofrece Villa María.

Very clean and well equipped property. Many cosy places to enjoy the outside including outdoor chairs, sofas, hammock. Pool and grounds are well kept. If you want a relaxing holiday to unwind, this is the place!

We have just returned from an amazing break at this beautiful villa. The property is immaculate and the views are stunning. Our boys loved spending time in the pool which was well maintained throughout our stay and any issues issues we had were promptly resolved by our host. We hired a car which gave us the opportunity to explore the area and organise some day trips out. Overall a fabulous relaxing trip and wonderful memories made with the family.

Rural Perfection!

Villa Maria is by far the best property we have rented and we have rented many! The house is superbly equipped and much thought has been put into it to ensure a very comfortable home from home. The Villa is located to take great advantage of the nearby mountains but close by to all amenities. The view from the bedroom watching the morning sunlight traversing the valley was nothing short of magical. We will be back!

Beautiful villa

The villa is exactly as it shows online. Well equipped with spectacular views. Rural which we wanted but a short drive to beaches and Fethiye including the old town which is lovely. The only negative which was quite a big thing for us is the quality of the mattresses. It was like trying to sleep on a hard floor. If this was not the case i would have given 5 stars.

Tranquillity Personified

Villa Maria was and is a perfect example of tranquillity and peacefulness. Nestled on the outskirts of the small village of Uzumlu with a lovely mountain range backdrop. The views are just lovely. The local people in the village are both helpful and friendly and you should not be afraid to visit any of the small local markets or restaurants, indeed I would highly recommend it. Whilst Fethiye is 20kms away it is still close enough for all your needs with good roadways and directions, in fact I would highly recommend several visits to some very good restaurants. The villa itself was extremely clean, well maintained and equipped, set out perfectly with a lovely mezzanine overlooking the living room. Open plan with very good lighting which made the whole house feel light and breezy. I have stayed in many villa’s over the years but a further feature of Villa Maria which you do not always get is the number of outside seating areas, 4 to be exact, so it does not matter the direction of the breeze you will be able to situate yourself accordingly. I may also add the wifi was also very good which is not always the case. Both Debbie (Owner) and Metin (Villa Manager) were excellent. They both answered texts or emails very quickly and gave good direction for all questions asked, thank you both. In short, this is a beautiful villa in a lovely peaceful location run by very nice and truly helpful people, I cannot recommend this villa enough and, for the first time ever, we are seriously considering a 2nd visit to a villa with friends.

Home in the sun

This was our second time renting Villa Maria and really does feel like our home in the sun. The location is perfect whether you just wish to laze by the pool and enjoy the beautiful views or use as a base to visit the harbour areas. We used the kitchen more frequently this time and found everything we needed. The local village is a short trip down the mountain (you will need a car!) and the small friendly shops had all for our day to day needs. For a larger shop we used the Tesco style MMS store (formally KIPA) in Fethiye (has a Burger King next door if you are feeling lazy!) We did eat out just the once this time at the local Cadiana restaurant just outside Uzumlu village one evening and found it a lovely friendly venue with good food (and lots of it!). Debbie as host is wonderful to arrange the stay with and her local management team very quick to attend for any issues if they arise. Overall a wonder experience we would recommend wholeheartedly

Turkish Delight

Very high quality villa in the most amazing tranquil setting, with a vista across the valley to die for. Beautifully decorated throughout. Great pool area and superb outside patios, dining and relaxation areas. We ate regularly at the villa at the dining table situated in the shade of an almond tree. Holiday heaven. No need to cook either as local restaurants all deliver delicious and fantastic value takeaways direct to the villa (details given to us by the very helpful owner Debbie) When you fancy a trip into Uzumlu town there are also a number of high quality bars and restaurants to enjoy, which we did regularly. Fethiye only 20 minutes away in the car, and worth a trip too, though there is enough in Uzumlu to please all. Only slight negative for us had nothing to do with the villa. We shared it with a couple of friends, and he was an insomniac who pottered around from 5am every morning, and couldn’t sit still during the day, whereas his wife often enjoyed the local vino a bit too much and slept it off on the lounges most of the day! On one memorable night she fell asleep at midnight, sozzled, and curled up like a poodle on one of the external lounge chairs, bedded in for the night. He surveyed the situation, threw a blanket over her, yawned, and said “I’m off to bed, she does it all the time”. She eventually awoke and meandered back inside and upstairs about 5am, just as he was getting up! Hopefully they’ll not read this review! We’ve booked the villa already for next year....not sure who’s joining us though yet.

Beautiful, relaxing stay at Villa Maria

Enjoyed a fabulous 2 week stay in Villa Maria back in July.. You are greeted with a genuine WOW factor as soon as you step foot in the villa grounds, and then again when you enter the villa!! The villa, surrounding garden area and pool area are left immaculate and you can tell the owners really take pride in their home away from home. Villa Maria is an extremely well equipped home which has everything you could need and more. We travelled as a family of 6 and were easily accommodated inside and out! My dad enjoyed his daily walks into Uzumlu village where he hired a car some days of the trip which we used to drive to places like Olu Deniz, the waterpark and into Fethiye. Debbie was a wonderful host who was always available for advice even during the trip and gave us plenty of tips on trips, local places to eat, car hire and more… We cannot wait to return in July!

A Beautiful Place

This was our first visit to Villa Maria and what a haven of peace and tranquillity it is. It has just the right balance of being as remote as you would wish but not too far from the lovely village of Uzumulu. Waking to the sound of the morning call to prayer from the village mosque in the distance is amazing. The villa itself is of a very high standard and a credit to the owners. There is everything you need provided and full information on what is good in and around the area. There a number of restaurants and bars and everyone in the village is very friendly and helpful. The small shops can provide you with most supplies but there is also a short trip to Fetihye where there are markets, shops, etc. if you wish. A hire car is recommended even if you are staying around the villa but they are reasonably priced and the firm we used Pegasus were very helpful. Debbie was a wonderful host and assisted us in all areas arranging this trip and was always available for advice before we arrived. We would recommend this Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing, tranquil location. We will be back soon!!

Beautiful, Relaxing, Scenic

This was my third stay at Villa Maria. The Villa is absolutely beautiful and the owners take great pride in ensuring the Villa, surrounding gardens and swimming pool are immaculate. Everything is finished to a very high standard. The main resorts of Fetihye, Calis leading onto other resorts are easily accessible by car or, via bus/taxi from Uzumlu village. We were a party of 5 ladies and during our stay, we ate out regularly in the local village cafes, bars and restaurants. I’d not hesitate to recommend Villa Maria and have already booked my return stay for 2019.

A perfect break in a special location.

A fabulous stay in a beautiful villa. The villa truly is a home from home, there is everything and more you could wish for, the owner has provided everything to ensure that your stay is relaxed and comfortable. The setting is idyllic, very tranquil and private with space to relax around the pool during the day and shaded areas to escape from the heat if you should wish to. Spotless and extremely well maintained I have no reservations at all in recommending this villa. The local village has plenty of good restaurants and supermarkets and the locals are very welcoming and help make your stay in the area even more enjoyable. A car is advisable however there are good taxi services to and from the local village. I will definitely be booking a return trip as I returned home from this break fully refreshed and well rested.

Absolute Heaven

A fantastic stay with my family at Villa Maria which went far beyond our expectations. The villa is absolutely beautiful and is to a very high specification throughout. There is a huge amount of outdoor space around the villa and the views are completely uninterrupted across the valley and surrounding mountains. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday we have ever had. Villa Maria truly was amazing and I would highly recommend it. We have already booked again for next year!

What a beautiful place to stay

What a beautiful place to stay. The views and the peace and quiet all add to the magic of Villa Maria. The photos on the website do not do the Villa justice. We spent two weeks here in June 2018 and even though the weather was not what we would normally expect after previous visits to Uzumlu, it was still a fantastic stay. The Villa itself had everything possible you would need for a relaxing holiday and is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. This was our eighth visit to Uzumlu and definitely the best villa we have stayed in. The local village is a few minutes drive away (a car is essential) and has everything you need from supermarkets to friendly and very good restaurants. Debbie (the owner) was available to assist during the booking and whilst we holidayed. We would highly recommend Villa Maria and will definitely be booking again.

Beatiful Villa in a peaceful location

I could not recommend this villa more. The location is quite rural so a car is required, but for us this peacefulness and security was perfect especially with a young family. The villa itself is spotless both inside and out, with great facilities and plenty of seating areas. We really enjoyed using the brick BBQ to cook on most nights. The pool area was cleaned / maintained daily which was great. Inside the 3 bedrooms were perfectly appointed and far better than any villa I have stayed in before, the Wi-Fi and PS3 are great and helped keep our son entertained when inside. Debbie was a great host, she answered any emails promptly with any questions we had during our stay and also gave us plenty of tips on local places to eat, drink, shop etc. I would highly recommend this villa and will hopefully be able to stay again in the future.

Fantastic second time staying at Villa Maria

This is our second holiday. This time staying for 10 nights at Villa Maria. The Villa is beautiful, well appointed and equipped to cater for our every need, providing real home from home comforts and set in a stunning location with unobstructed views across the countryside. The village of Uzumulu is easily accessible (approx. 5 mins by car) and has a great selection of bars, restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets. You can also take the trek or car journey from the village up to Cadianda which is a World Heritage site/Roman settlement. The owner was very helpful and responsive to any questions and on arrival we were contacted by the local villa management company to ensure we had settled in. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Maria to family and friends and hope to return again next year.

quiet, spacious and cozy villa

We spent a wonderful week at Villa Maria. It was well maintained, spotlessly cleaned and provided plenty of space inside and outside for our small kids. We liked the cozy feel, nicely landscaped garden, the pool and the great mountain views. The owner was very friendly, helpful and quickly responded to fix a minor issue. We've stayed at different holiday homes but this was definitely one of the best.

Home from home - Fantastic villa

Excellent stay and Villa Maria. This villa definitely has the wow factor it is exactly as described. Beautifully maintained, the pool is not overlooked with plenty of seating areas for outdoor dining options including beautiful shaded areas. The villa offers uninterrupted views and is in a lovely location setting. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions asked. I am a young professional in my 20s and found plenty to do/visit. The nearby village (which is only 5 minutes away) had everything I needed to enjoy my stay with various dining options and well-stocked supermarkets. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends and have already requested a return trip booking for next year.

Wonderful holiday in paradise

Having stayed in quite a few villas in the past Villa Maria was a delightful surprise. Usually there is always something that is not quite right but Villa Maria proved to be outstanding. Everything was to the highest standard with more than adequate supplies of tableware cutlery etc. Inside all rooms were very well appointed and comfortable and outside space was vast. Lots of seating areas both in sun and shade giving opportunities for both sun and shade/quiet. The owners were a delight to deal with and most helpful. Wonderful stay at the beautiful Villa Maria

I can only echo the previous reviewers. This property is simply stunning, very well maintained and exactly as described. Beautiful location and lovely walks into the village at which you can buy all required provisions. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. We had not hesitation in rebooking villa Maria and are very much looking forward to returning in September.

Tennison family of Roos had a fantastic stay

All I can do is echo the comments left by the previous reviewers. After opening the front door we were greeted by a genuine WOW factor. The well decorated light and airy main living area with dining area and well equipped kitchen directly off, is a real class act. Our family of 4 were easily accommodated within the three lovely bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms. This was only bettered when you ventured outside onto an amazingly private patio with wonderful views. I have to admit, we spent a lot of time eating, drinking and talking at the 5 seater table there. The pool and further extra patio was the finishing touch to a magical setting. Uzumlu village is not a short walk but is very charming and well set up for bars, shops and restaurants. We hired a car for the 14 days and would say that this made access to the villa much easier. Top Tip. we bought a Turkish SD card for our Garmin Sat Nav on Amazon for about £30 and it paid for itself just on the drive from Dalaman Airport to the Villa in the dark. We drove to Fethiye many times as well as Olu Deniz, Saklikent Gorge and Pamukkale and had a great holiday. Cannot recommend it enough.

We have been married for 29 years and have 2 grown up children. We live in North West England and both have very busy jobs. We have done a lot of travelling over the years and we wanted a place of our own where we could kick back and relax. We chose Turkey because it is such a beautiful and varied country. The food is great and the people are friendly. There is also so much to do in Turkey and the cost of living is considerably cheaper than the UK. However, the climate has to be the biggest attraction. With fantastic hot summers and short winters, it really is a wonderful place to be.

We chose Uzumlu as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal resorts yet within very easy reach of a wide range of attractions as well as beautiful beaches. The villa benefits from being close to the laid back unspoilt village of Uzumlu but in a more peaceful location. We fell in love with the villa, it's position and the uninterrupted views across the valley. The landscape is truly breathtaking. The villa is one of six villas and therefore not isolated but due to it's front line position it offers privacy. It is south west facing and therefore benefits from the sunshine all day long. We were looking for a villa with a pool that was light, spacious and also had lots of outdoor space. We were so lucky to find Villa Maria, it really is so peaceful and relaxing, you don't want to go home!

Villa Maria has beautiful views from every window. It is almost 360 degree panoramic views and this is what we love about the villa. The pool is lovely to swim and cool down in and the steps into the pool are great to sit on and enjoy a relaxing drink or read a book. We love seeing the farmer bring his goats to graze on the land by the villa and watching the birds. It really is the best of both worlds, peace and tranquility in abundance yet a few minutes away all the amenities and restaurants and bars you may need.
