El alojamiento en estos días ha sido genial. Muy agradecidos con el recibimiento por parte de Chris y la vivienda cumple con las espectactivas, resaltar la terraza que tiene por las vistas. Seguro que si volvemos, repetimos y volvemos alojarnos aquí.

Buenas vacaciones

Amplio para 4 personas con una terraza magnífica para hacer vida. Bien equipado y con mobiliario muy bien cuidado. La zona super tranquila, con todo lo necesario y buenas playas. Si volvemos a Manilva será nuestra primera opción.

A delightful stay cut short by Covid 19

My husband and I rented this condo for six weeks in March and April of 2020. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to Covid 19. However, the 15 days we spent here were absolutely lovely. The apartment itself was clean. bright and very comfortable. Having a second bedroom and washroom was perfect for having short term visitors and provided extra space. The kitchen was a bit tiny, but adequate for our needs. Given that it was a corner suite, we had the pleasure of having a surround balcony that provided sunshine at all times of the day. When we wanted shade, an overhang provided it. The location was great, barely a five minute walk from the beach, and only a few kilometres from the quaint village of San Luis de Sabinillas. We loved the quiet, peaceful location that allowed us to use it as a place to relax, and yet as an excellent pied a terre close enough to visit other places. Both Nigel and Chris were lovely hosts. Communication with Nigel was beyond excellent., We would stay here again in a heartbeart, and will try to do so when things calm down again. I highly recommend this apartment.

Great apartment in good location!

My husband and I have just returned from a couple of weeks' stay in this apartment and were very pleased with it. The property was as described and we found everything that we needed was included. The beds were great and the bed linen and towels were of a very good quality. The kitchen and equipment was good and there was a washing machine if you need to wash your clothes. Good TV with UK channels available. The sea and country view from the balcony was amazing and there were 3 birds of prey that spent a lot of time perched on an old tree right opposite the patio doors and they would keep us entertained us for hours with their swooping and searching for food! One day we had a huge herd of goats pass by and spend the afternoon grazing down below the apartment (outside the complex fence though!) The apartment had private parking space downstairs in the communal garage, so it was easy to come back from the beach or the shops, park the car and just ride up in the lift to the apartment. The beach close to the apartment was great and there was a lovely little chiringuito with clean toilets, serving food and drinks and some sunbeds that were free of charge. The beaches along the coast were all as pristine and well cared-for and were mainly empty of people, so perfect for quiet beach days. Gibraltar is only 35 minutes' drive away and easy to get to, as are so many towns that are great to visit. Estepona's old town is definitely worth a visit and offers lots of lovely restaurants as well as a fantastic beach. The port of La Duquesa was very close and we did eat there one night but found that it was just another port full of British ex-pat boat-owners and pricey restaurants. We preferred to go to Las Sabinillas, which we found offered good restaurants with more local atmosphere. There was a great little fish and chip restaurant/take-away called "Marlows" located nearby, next to the Eroski supermarket, that we did eat in a few times. As well as the usual "proper" fish and chip dinners, they did excellent Sunday roasts at a good price. A little closer to the apartment, there was a brilliant Argentinian steak house called "El Estribo" . Quite expensive but with fabulous steaks and excellent wines! All in all, we had a great trip!

Excellent stay

The property was as described online. It was clean and tidy and we didn’t have any problems at all. It is within walking distance to the beach and also if you prefer the swimming was really close and a good size. The only slight negative we had and it wasn’t anything to do with the apartment was that the swimming pool didn’t open until around midday. This was because they had to have a lifeguard on duty which is totally understandable for safety but not ideal if you want a morning swim. We would definitely use the apartment again if we travel to that area again. 👍

Family summer holiday

My family stayed at Nigel's place for one week in July. Communication was very good from the whole time, Nigel and the on site contact Chris were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was located in a very nice and secure compound, beautiful and well-kept gardens and pool and convinient garage. We really loved the pool area, never too busy and always free sun beds. Clean and good size pool where our 8 and 9 year old daughters spent hours and hours. The apartment itself was good size for a family of 4 and had everything we needed. I really loved the huge balcony and the views! There is a mini market very close with surprisingly good selection. The beach is close by as well (about 5min. walk from apartment). You can take a nice walk there with mountain views and you have several beach bars to select from. Beach walk or short drive to Playa de la Duquesa is something to recommend, also visit to beautiful Estepona. Our family had the perfect holiday here!

Lovely clean apartment and plenty of equipment to self cater.The gardens are kept very tidy and a pleasure to sit in. The owner and onsite manager were both really helpful and communication prior to going and whilst there was great.

Fantastic!

We have just returned from the apartment and had a fantastic time there. The gardens and swimming pools are beautiful. The complex is gated so it is very private, and the apartment overlooks the sea and hillside, and the balcony is so relaxing and peaceful. There is a small shop literally 2 mins walk away, for essentials, and a fantastic walk into the marina with beach bars along the way. The apartment was immaculate. A lot of time and effort must go into maintaining this, as it didn’t have the usual “well used” look of other places we have stayed at. Nigel was extremely helpful and supplied all the details and any help that we needed. Overall we had a brilliant time there. It’s a great area with plenty to do. Would love to return again.

En ce qui concerne la résidence nous pouvons dire qu'elle est convenable dans la mesure où elle est calme , qu'il y a une piscine ainsi qu'un parking souterrain et fermé. Le problème est plutôt dans l'agencement de l'appartement. Il y a de la place perdue dans le salon par des meubles inutiles et pas assez de place pour poser les valises. Il y a 2 salles de bain ce qui est un plus mais pas non plus de disposition convenable pour poser des objets courants. Quant à la cuisine , la vaisselle était sale ( à revoir) et les couteaux ne coupent rien ! .Certes on peut s'en contenter mais par rapport au prix on est en droit d'attendre mieux. Je déplore aussi que les commentaires ne soient pas libres mais encadrés.

The best apartment on our trip!!

We rented 4 different apartments during our trip throughout South of Spain. This was the best one. We felt so at home. The apartment was extremely clean, new, and organized with everything you’d ever need. The balcony was spacious and good view. Our two toddlers loved spending time out there eating and playing with toys. Loved the kiddie pool and also the big pool. Great location to visit Casares and the beautiful Espetona for us. Nigel was very nice throughout the whole process. Chris was so very nice and helpful too. Definitely will stay here again next time. Highly recommended for everyone especially families with young kids. Thank you Nigel and Chris!!

A pleasant well-kept apartment near Duquesa marina

I spent 5 days in this well maintained apartment at the end of summer. Nice large L-shaped terrace that gets the sun all afternoon and is not overlooked. Clean throughout with comfortable modern furniture. Air-con throughout (which not all apartments have) and a well furnished kitchen. Parking spot underneath the building is a bonus. Pool and surrounding area is clean and well maintained but be warned, the pool is VERY cold! A short walk takes you to the beach which itself is clean and populated by numerous restaurants and bars where you can participate in a libation (or two) or have a meal. Duquesa marina is about a 40-minute walk but flies quickly (honest) even on the way back. I would recommend this apartment for location (Gibraltar, Estepona, Puert Banus and Marbella) all within 15 / 20 minutes drive, amenities and value for money

Beautiful apartment and complex

We have just returned from our second stay at the lovely apartment and wasn't disappointed. Very well maintained , clean and freshly painted. The owners are very helpful and friendly and pay particular attention to fine detail. The complex has beautiful gardens and a large swimming pool that has a life guard on duty at all times. Making it safe for small children.The spacious balcony is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the scenic views..We enjoyed the evening walks along the coastal path into the port stopping off at beach bars on the way. There's plenty choice of restaurants that are situated on 3 levels that have beautiful views over the port. We can't fault the apartment,complex or resort and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. We look forward to returning again next year.

Lovely, well kept specious apartment

Lovely well kept 2 bedroomed, 2 bathroomed apartment. We travelled as a family of four and there was ample space for us all. The apartment was clean and had a home from home feel to it. The balcony is large and wraps around this corner apartment offering views if the sea on one side and the hills in the other. Nice and quiet apartment in a well kept development.

Excellent apartment in well kept small complex

Pleased to be able to recommend this well kept apartment. With views of the sea on the rear balcony it is both private and quiet. Everything you need is in the apartment from cooking to relaxation. The owner knows what people need/use! The local agent was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The garden and pool area, as well as all the walkways and hedges are all well kept. Onsite staff included a life guard and gardener. The nearby towns are not overrun by tourism and local eateries offer plenty of choice. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Très belle location

L appartement est très propre et fonctionnel, la terrasse est spacieuse et une belle vue sur la colline et vue mer, c est très calme, le complexe est très bien entretenu, très agréable, idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille ou en couple, la plage est très proche 5 mn à pied avec des petits restaurants de plage très sympa , idéal pour visiter l andalousie, très bien place, le propriétaire est très serieux, ça fait plusieurs années que nous venons et nous n avons jamais été déçus, les photos de l appartement sont conforme a la realite je recommande cette location,tout est parfait

Lovely, fresh and Clean Apartment

This was our 2nd visit to this apartment, also just booked for next year, this is how impressed we are, not only with the spacious apartment and sea view balcony, but with the whole set up. The complex itself is clean and fresh and very well maintained. It has also just been re-painted. Once again Chris, the onsite manager was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday , this is the place.

Great Apartment in nice complex

Apartment is well suited to a family of four people externally there is a balcony with table and sea views .Its also got the sun in the afternoon/evening. Internally there is a large kitchen diner/living room .The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. There are two bathrooms one with a shower and the second with a bath .There are also two bedrooms one with a double bed and the second with two singles both have ample storage space. This is aso downstairs parking space .Within the grounds of the complex there is a large pool area with separate kids pool and a well maintained grassed sitting area for sun loungers. We really enjoyed our stay its 5 mins walk to the beach and the supermarket is 5 mins drive away. its also a nice walk into the port along the coast about 45 mins walk where there are loads of restaurants. We used the cafe's along the beach all provided really nice food for lunch !! All in all a great apartment in a lovely location

Highly Recommend

Our party was 2 couples holidaying together. From the moment we made a booking inquiry to the day of departure, the landlord and property manager were nothing but personable, welcoming and accommodating, even allowing us to stay an extra night, last minute. The property was great, with everything you could need in the way of utensils, facilities etc, so no problem for cozy evenings in and spacious enough for 4 adults. The views of the sea and the hills are breathtaking. Location is great, if you don't have a car, there is a fair bit of walking, but a pleasant walk at that, with plenty of beach bars along the way to La Duquesa. The local beaches are lush, which along with the pool and being a water baby myself is high on the list of priorities. I highly recommend.

Fabulous apartment

Fabulous apartment all home comforts provided . Stylish decor two bathrooms, fantastic balcony with views of sea and mountains . Peaceful location yet only short drive from beach shops bars and restaurants. Nigel is perfect landlord great communication and nothing too much trouble . Immaculate apartment

Well maintained immaculate apartment with large corner balcony overlooking mountains and sea view. A perfect place to relax and watch the sun go down in the evening. Well equipped with sun loungers and patio sets. Wi Fi and an English TV was a plus. The pools are surrounded by beautiful well kept gardens the complex is lovely. Very friendly staff always around . We enjoyed the costal walk to the port and stopped off at many beach bars on the way. Plenty of lovely restaurants in the port .we had a great holiday and would highly recommend the complex and apartment. Couldn't fault it. The owners are very helpful and informative and Chris is on site should you need him. Can't wait to return next year.

Great Holiday.

Me and my family have not long arrived home after staying 4 nights in this beautiful apartment , its very clean and well maintained with stunning sea views, the complex itself is clean and quiet with 2 swimming pools! The apartment was only minutes walk from the beach in the beautiful town of duquesa, there are plenty of things to see and do and lots of lovely place to eat, we hired a car so we could travel to the surrounding towns so the apartment was in the perfect location for us... i would highly recommend this property as we couldn't fault it, Nigel the owner is very helpful with great communication.

I, Nigel, live in the UK and own the apartment with my wife Nicola. We purchased this apartment new, and have had many years combining a mixture of both holiday tenants and long term tenants. In between, we use the apartment ourselves. We love the area, and the complex, and have seen both grow and flourish over the years to the beautiful position they are in today.

I have been the Vice President of this holiday complex for around 15 years, and am passionate about it's future and making it the best possible stay you can have. As such, if you require more apartments for block bookings, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to assist.

Away from the high rise resorts closer to the airport, it offers quiet and relaxation, yet is close to all forms of entertainment. Being a 40 min walk or 5 minute drive to the local port of Duquesa is a huge advantage. This marina improves every year, more restaurants opening, and the beach walk from the apartments into the marina is ideal, with a bar every 5-10 mins walk.
We just love the area, and the all round sun.

The private sea view and an apartment that is not overlooked is what made us choose this particular one.
The building is split level, so you walk in at ground level by the swimming pool, and without having to use the lift or stairs, you are on the first floor. No-one walking past the balcony making noise, just relaxing..
