Hermosa villa de 4 dormitorios ubicada en una posición dominante con fantásticas vistas panorámicas sobre el Mediterráneo y las montañas de Sierra Tejeda.
La villa está orientada al suroeste y tiene el beneficio de sol todo el día y magníficas puestas de sol.
La villa tiene un ambiente europeo acogedor y consta de 4 habitaciones, 1 principal con balcón y baño, 1 doble con baño (ambos con duchas de hidromasaje) dos dobles (una con una cama que se extiende).
Baño de abajo con ducha de hidromasaje.
Cocina moderna totalmente equipada con nevera americana, microondas, horno y vitrocerámica, lavadora, lavavajillas, cafetera, tetera y tostadora.
Puertas francesas que se abren a una gran terraza comedor y acogedora sala de estar.
Gran sala de estar con chimenea de leña, televisión inteligente, DVD, wifi, televisión con canales gratuitos y conexión para iPod, además de una selección de películas en DVD. Beautiful place ( just a bit scary getting there!)

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house but we definitely underestimated how difficult the drive would be. It was nerve-wracking to say the least! The property itself is beautiful and the views are amazing though. A great base for a day trip into malaga and beach days in Nerja. Some lovely restaurants too but you will have to drive everywhere ( and make it back up the mountain!!) Marcus is an exceptional host and couldn't have been nicer.

The views are unbeatable

Had a very lovely stay with my husband and son. It is a place you stock up get to and enjoy. Maybe not the best place for groups who want to be in and out as the drive up is a lot for people who arent used to it, the views and the property are so worth it.Very ridy,

Tough drive, great reward

Tasteful, well thought out, quality build. Neighbors nearby but you'd never know it. Great communication with Marc, the owner. The enjoyment of the spectacular view, pool, verandas, and privacy was first class. The drive there is not for the faint hearted, but wegot used to it.

Absolutely fabulous villa in a stunning location, making for a wonderful holiday. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with everything you could need. Lots of different seating areas mean there is always somewhere comfortable to sit, in sun or shade, and space for the whole family to spread out. The pool is a delight and the views of the sea and mountains are world class. Having your own car is essential, and the access road is not recommended for the feint hearted, but the views, and the peace make it all worth while. Some nice restaurants in the village, and a Lidl in easy reach at Algarobo Costa. Marc was really helpful and communicative ahead of and during our trip, and quickly dealt with any questions or issues that arose. Totally recommended. Thanks again Marc for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The house was fantastic and exactly as described, Marcus was helpful with any questions I had and responded to all my messages promptly. Immaculately clean the house has everything you could need, but the star of the show are the views, simply stunning.

Fantastic Half Term Week

A lovely well appointed villa with spectacular views and a lovely swimming pool. The sunsets were epic, and we had a great time as a family. My only slight negative would be the drive up being on windy roads meaning we didnt venture out for dinner due to not wanting to do the drive in the dark. Otherwise, we had a great week.

Exceptional Villa with amazing owner

This place is just a hidden paradise on the top of the Spanish mountain. You can oversee the whole valley and enjoy the lights during the night. The villa and the village are kids & family friendly. Owner are just amazing, great communicant, making you feeling home and helping you enjoying your stay very quickly.

Really well presented and the house has basically everything you could need The view is as good as all of the previous reviews claim and the pool area is perfect The road up is a bit tricky at first (to navigate) but once you’ve been up once it’s fine Communication with first class Would happily recommend Would recommend taking a decent quality mosquito repellent (to the area in general not just the house)

Great Villa

We stayed in The Villa for 10 days and we really didn't want to leave. It was very well stocked, and a real bonus to have some essentials ready for us when we arrived. The pool was the best we've had for a long time clean and decent length. The villa was clean spacious and with some amazing views all the way to the coast. Our host was to notch and always answered quickly. There are lots of areas to relax in and outside, so even with 3 kids it was a chilled holiday. All round beautiful villa with great pool.

Stunning 5 Star Villa

This villa is beautiful. It is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and has everything you would need for a family holiday. The views are incredible and it is a real 'get-away-from-it-all' holiday. The villa is nearby to beautiful villages, walks, beach, local amenities including a large shopping centre. Everything you need is 20 minutes away which is just perfect. The villa owners are extremely helpful and couldn't have done anything more for us. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Superb villa with stunning views

We are a family of 5 adults and had a wonderful 8 nights in this beautiful villa. It was wonderfully clean and fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard. The pool was a good size and there was a selection of shaded areas to relax and take in the stunning views of both coast and mountains. So tranquil yet only a short drive to beach/supermarket. Just be aware the road up to the villa is not for the faint hearted but you get used to it! Hire a car with a bit of oomph and not too low a suspension! Communication with the owner was excellent with very fast response times. Can highly recommend.

Incredible Villa with incredible views

Where do I even begin, we have just arrived home from the most amazing 12 day stay at this incredible villa. It has been everything we wished for and more. The villa itself has everything you need and it’s beautiful inside, but outside is even better. The views and the sun rise and sun sets are just out of this world. My children (and also adults) absolutely loved being in the pool every day and sunbathing overlooked by the most beautiful surroundings looking over the mountains, peace and tranquility at its finest. There are so many lovely spots around the villa in the shade too if you wanted a little break from the sun, all perfect spaces to listen to the birds and read a book. Each room inside the villa is lovely and the beds are also very comfortable. The kitchen is great for cooking and equipped with everything that you need. The drive up to the villa from sayalonga is fine and definitely not as scary as you may think, once you have drove it once it just becomes second nature. Down in the town of sayalonga our favourite place to eat was ‘Meson Morisco’ the food, the service and the surroundings were wonderful. I don’t have any faults to say, nothing but a positive, beautiful and luxury stay at this beautiful villa. Thank you Marcus and Pip! We will definitely return!

The Pictures Don't Lie...

Just left Marc and Pippa’s place after an 11 night stay with my wife and father-in-law. Everything was exactly as described and communication with Marc was excellent. The road up, as mentioned in a couple reviews, is somewhat daunting the first time, but you do get used to it. And it really is the only way you'd get to experience the incredible views the villa provides. The villa itself is wonderfully outfitted, very spacious and the pool is spectacular. We did a couple of day trips down to Malaga and Algarrobbo and had a couple of dinners in Sayalonga, but basically spent the bulk of our time just hanging out by the pool not wanting to go anywhere... Thanks again for everything Marc!

Heavenly villa

Villa was just amazing. Views for miles. Pool area was a fantastic sun trap. House was clean and well supplied. Excellent welcome folder with information. Was travelling with parents and three children, plenty of space for everyone, multiple seating areas inside and out. Village at bottom of the hill was lovely. Great food, friendly people. Mountains were beautiful and nice to drive around. Villa just 15 min from ocean and Lidl. Drive up the hill was daunting the first time but once we knew the way was easy. We hired a polo and got up no problems. Absolutely recommend this villa, hope to go back again in the future.

Fabulous family Easter break

We have just returned from a week at Marcus and Pippa’s villa - myself, my husband and 2 girls aged 4 and 5. The house is fantastic and has everything you need. The swimming pool was a big highlight, with our girls using it almost every day (be warned, it takes some courage to get in at first as it was pretty chilly!) The location is beautiful, and designed to keep the house cool even on hot days. This meant that on cooler days we had log fires going in the evening, which was lovely and cosy. The beach and supermarkets are about 25 mins away, but to be honest we spent most of our time at the villa, with one or two trips out to explore. Marcus was a lovely host and kept in touch well throughout the week. We’ve already discussed returning. Thank you!

Fabulous Family holiday

WOW breathtaking views. Villa delivered on all aspects. You will find yourself never wanting to leave, already planning your return. We loved the outdoor dinning, watching the spectacular sunsets. Great place, great nearby activities,great host. Fabulous holiday!! its so much more than you think it will be. We particularly enjoyed morning’s round the pool, afternoons on the beach, evening’s around the villa. Amenities - Lidl supermarket a short drive away, but try the fabulous local butcher next door for your BBQ. Out and about you are just spoilt for choices of what to do during your stay from beach to exploring mountain villages. My children aged 14,16 and 18 enjoyed the kayaking on Nerja beach. Activity floats on the sea in Torre de Mar. Sayalonga Village has a lovely atmosphere. Restaurant,Bakery,pharmacy and small shop. However - I can’t say enough!! nothing beats just been at the villa, enjoying at nature at its best with your family. Thank you for a wonderful stay. See you again. Note: we arrive in the dark, map was easy to follow. Completed no problems.

Amazing Views

Stunning location but road up was very scary. I got used to it in the end but my advice would be get all provisions for your stay before heading up the hill. I was very disappointed with the lack of air con - my bad for not reading particulars and I feel that did not give us the full enjoyment of the house because we did not want to open the shutters because of the heat so the house was very dark. Unfortunately the fans were just not up to scratch - in the evenings it was cooler outside than in but the problem was bugs - they love our skin. Was not aware of plumbing issues not come across this in Spain for a long time but it is what it is. The accommodation was lovely both in and out. The loungers at pool could do with replacing - couple broken but that easily fixed along with parasol. Kitchen had everything you need for your stay. Pool was great and we spent most of our days there playing, swimming and soaking up the sun.

SIMPLY AMAZING

This place is a true paradise for nature afficionados and, as such, we (family of four from Canada) absolutely fell in love with the quiet, amazing mountain perch. We thoroughly enjoyed the (very) well equipped kitchen, 2 types of barbecues (gas and charcoal), great dining area outside, super comfie bedrooms, refreshing and large pool (great to relax and cool off after a hot July day trip to nearby Granada for example), and many lounging areas around the property. However, the best part was the unbelievable view! Even after a couple of weeks here it still took our breath away! For people worried about the drive up the mountain, we would recommend simply taking it slow the first few times, and it will be fine. We did it at least once per day for nearly two weeks and got quite comfortable with it. It is *well* worth it in any case. If you keep the place clean, ants etc. that you would expect normally expect to find in the countryside can easily be managed. This is an exquisite property —obviously the owners, Marcus and Pipa, care about its upkeep a great deal— and we would go back in a hearbeat. Totally our speed.

Left Villa halfway through stay

Amazing Views, Great pool. However! Road up to the Villa is truly awful. Have been renting in Sayalonga/Competa area for last ten years, this is the worst road up to a Villa I have experienced. Advice would be Rent a 4x4, do not arrive in the dark and make as few trips as possible up and down the hill. The lack of Insect screens on windows (only three in the whole Villa, all broken) and no Insect curtains on the doors made getting air into the house challenging during both daytime and evening. Due to the absence of Insect screens we did not want to open the shutters and doors, so the house was very dark and very hot, daytime and evenings. Considering there is no air con, the fans in the Villa were inadequate. Ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms did not work. One bedroom did not have one. Desk fans were provided, but were dirty and not big enough. Insect nets over the beds, were dirty and worn with holes and rips. So were ineffective. We do not usually have a problem with the bugs in Spain, but in the evenings outside the Villa the bugs were a problem for all. A few plumbing issues, a leaking toilet and poor drainage in main en-suite. Downstairs en-suite had problem with drains, omitting awful smell which made bathroom unusable and bedroom very unpleasant to sleep in. As a family of five, for us the lack of effective shaded areas around the Villa was a problem. Making it difficult to take refuge from the sun outside in the daytime. We were due to stay for two weeks but left after one week. Based on our experience we would not recommend the Villa

Alojamiento 100% recomendable. El camino de acceso no es inconveniente, es sólo un pequeño peaje para poder disfrutar de las vistas y de la tranquilidad del entorno. Piscina excelente.

La casa, la piscina, la limpieza todo está fenomenal. El acceso a la casa bastante incómodo, la mitad del camino es por tierra sin asfaltar y con bastante pendiente (si tienes un coche muy bajo La subida es dificil). Te limita un poco el estar bajando y subiendo del pueblo. Todo lo demás perfecto

Myself and my partner Pippa spend most of our time running our restaurants in the South of England. We fell in love with this property 15 years ago, and have since renovated it to become the luxury villa it is today. We were sold on this property as a holiday home due to it's breathtaking views and incredible setting in a traditional Spanish village, making it the perfect get away home. However, it is only a short distance from the tourist attractions such as; water parks, shopping centres, bars, restaurants and beaches making it the perfect destination for an all-round fantastic holiday.

This villa is set on the highest point of La Rabita mountain, an area under special protection in Sayalonga. This provides the most breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and deep valleys, overlooking the white villages, deep valleys, mediterranean sea and Morocco (on a clear day).
