Esta casa victoriana del siglo XIX es el lugar perfecto para unas vacaciones en familia, reuniones, escapadas en grupo y mucho más, situada en el corazón de la costa norte de Devon,

La casa, construida en 1845, cuenta con 5 salas de recepción, 7 habitaciones con 5 suites distribuidas en 6.500 pies cuadrados. Se puede alojar cómodamente a 16 personas en 1 super king Oriental (2mx2m), 4 súper reyes (2mx1. 8m), 4 dobles (1. 4mx1. 8m) y 2 individuales (1mx1. 8m). La propiedad se calienta desde el medio ambiente calefacción de biomasa de pellets de madera para garantizar una estancia cálida en cualquier época del año. Esto se complementa además con 3 quemadores de registro para realmente establecer el estado de ánimo en una noche invernal.

Ofrece fácil acceso a las playas, páramos, el recorrido de paseos costeros, caminos para bicicletas, campos de golf, jardines hortícolas, niños divertidos parques amable, y muchas otras actividades recreativas tradicionales interiores y exteriores para los que buscan una cómoda y relajada, sin embargo activo, romper con la tensiones de la vida del día a día.

La casa está situada en 14 acres de terreno privado con acceso seguro a través de puertas eléctricas. Dentro del recinto hay una piscina cubierta y una bañera de hidromasaje, y un gran lago natural con una impresionante vegetación, 200 peces y una caseta.

La casa admite perros, y puede traerlos a £ 25 por el primer perro y £ 15 por perro por cada perro adicional.

High Park House

We had a lovely family weekend with 14 of us from 3 to 83 and so enjoyed ourselves. The space was huge, the bedrooms and bathrooms meant everyone had enough space, and the lovely kitchen was perfect for preparing food without feeling left out. The pool room was enjoyed by everyone pretty much continuously. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub both in our alloted slots and also within free time. Thoroughly recommend

Jane's family holiday.

Goodness I don't know where to start. This is our yearly family holiday a very precious time to my husband and myself.There us fourteen of us of three generations. After a long journey we all felt tired, this was soon all forgotten when we first set eyes on this beautiful family home. None of us cold believe it's true size pictures try to capture it's size, but boy rooms are si much bigger and grander. The first thing I thought the kids of all ages going to have fun playing hide and seek. We were so very grateful for provisions provided for us. The scons, jam and cream was much appreciated. Paul met us and had a lovely conversation making us feel very welcome. The home provided an extensive library covering a variety of subject. I read of of these books in a week. I was also surprised to find lots of different games for all ages supplied too. The bedrooms were beyond huge, but extremely homely and comfortable. The grounds were well mentioned and again huge, sitting by the lake was so relaxing. The indoor heated pool plus jacuzzi was truely a lovely addition and again thought had been made to how to make experience more enjoyable. Toys, floats provided. My family went in daily. As a family we have been to many large family homes, I truly can this is one of the very best. If you are interested I would say have a good look, you are close to beautiful beaches, a large family outlet down the road. But you feel you are in the country with all the tranquility that provides, All I can say if you are lucky to book this property just relax soak up all it has to offer and have a lovely holiday, Thanks Jane and Paul.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing holiday a high park house! the location was great for sight seeing and lots of attractions nearby as well as practical things like shops. The house was stunning, so much room for our big party with lots of kids. the pool was an amazing bonus! we had bad weather a few days so it was so good we could still go swimming. All the small things were thought of even fresh milk and scones on arrival and a full tour of the house. we would not hesitate to book this house again!

Our family's wonderful week

We spent a family get - together week at High Park House. There were 15 of us. We found high park house over and above our expectations in every sense. The gardens are beautiful, the house is spotlessly, and spacious , the kitchen has every thing you need to prepare tasty meals. Anne- Louis was attentive and helpful. We feel the photos on the website don't do the house credit. We highly recommend the property.

Great holiday let

We were a party of 16 coming together from all sides of the uk. This was the first time the family /grandchildren have all been together and the house offered everything we could hope for. The little touches made a difference and were very welcome. Scones, cream and jam 😋 The pool was amazing and the rota worked really well . Everyone really enjoyed it Maggie

Family stay in Bideford

11 of us stayed here for my dads 70th birthday weekend and we couldn’t fault the house at all. Very well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and the hosts were lovely and friendly.

Wonderful Weekend Break

Beautiful home

What a beautiful property surrounded by stunning grounds. We loved the location and the property really worked for our large family gathering. Family holiday 2024

We first stayed here in 2023 for a week in August, We liked it so much that we came again this year (July 2024) It is a huge house, more than enough room for all 12 of us and our 3 dogs The bedrooms are massive, the bedding is lovely quality. The kitchen is well equipped, with room to dine in as well, if you don't want to use the dining room. The grounds are well kept with lovely views at the front and plenty of parking space. We loved having the use of a swimming pool and hot tub, in particular. Just along the road is a fresh milk Kiosk where you can buy milk, eggs and create your favourite flavoured milk shakes, this was a big hit for the children. The location is perfect for a peaceful retreat, with the benefits of shops, restaurants, tourist attractions and lovely beaches very close by. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this holiday venue is that it might prevent it being available for us to come back again. Thank you to Anne-Louise and Paul for being such great hosts

Excellent accommodation for a large group

We absolutely loved our stay at High Park House - the gardens/grounds and space are stunning and work brilliantly for a large group (we were 14). There are very small things that we noted that are ways to perfect (so not complaints) - move fridge closer to the kitchen, cords for the blinds to be brackets, vacuum under beds and bit a bit more thorough with cleaning as some dusty/cobwebby corners and plugholes, outside front patio could do with a clean, fix the second bulb in the swimming pool and ease departure by half an hour. These are all small things but they don't detract from the fact that the property is fantastic and has a great set up, the pool and the trampoline were a huge hit with the children and we'd definitely go back which we've not said about a property before! Thanks so much to Paul and Anne-Louise for a really lovely and memorable stay, we loved it!

Wonderful place for a family celebration!

I hired the Big House aka High Park House to bring my disparate family together to celebrate my parents 80th Birthday. There were 14 of us aged between 12 and 82. The house fit us perfectly especially with the large kitchen and farm table, the easy access to the swimming pool and hot tub, and the additional rooms for those needing space and quiet time. The owners were approachable and welcoming, with good communication. We found ample outdoor locations to have a family photo shoot to commemorate the stay. All local amenities ie supermarkets and beaches are close by, by car.

Best weekend away

We had the best weekend away celebrating an 80th birthday. There were 14 of us, the house was plenty big enough and we all enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and really well equipped, the beds were super comfy and everyone slept really well. The pool game, swimming pool and hot tub was a hit with everyone! The welcome basket was a really great feature, the scones were really yummy! The owners were lovely and they made sure we had everything we needed, they also showed us around the accommodation and facilities. The location of the house is perfect, it was lovely and peaceful but you aren't too far away from shops etc! We will definitely be back, thank you for a lovely weekend 😊

New Years Break with friends

Had a fabulous stay at High Park, house is perfect for a large group, kitchen a brilliant area and plenty of rooms to take yourself off for quiet time, bedrooms spacious and bathrooms very clean. Pool area a great place and booking system worked perfectly, and lots of garden space too!

Biggest and best house we have ever stayed in. Beautifully presented with more than we needed. We loved it. T We were there for a family get together for a 50th birthday. Ages 8 to 72 and one small dog. Space was amazing. Swimming pool and hot tub across the garden. We didn't want to go home! Peaceful rural setting but close to Bideford and lots of places to visit by car. We would recommend it highly.
