Lanzarote is a very humid island. In this Island, there are some villages which are much more humid than others. This is the case of Haría. It is really normal for us to have dehumidifiers in our homes, as they help us in controlling this humidity. Actually, I do not think this is something I should hide. Furthermore, I like to leave one of these devices in every “cowntry side” house that I manage so our guests could take advantage of this. It is really important here in the island to provide our houses with good ventilation. So it is suggested to open windows during day time for a while so air get renewed and the sun can enter the house and warm it out. Actually, by what I read, it seems you applied this technique in some parts of the house with success. Regarding the kitchen cupboard located at the very end of the kitchen, where you found some mould, it seems to be a cupboard which is not used frequently. Nonetheless, as an owner I believe this is something inadmissible, as the WHOLE kitchen should be cleaned in depth after every check out. This is why the cleaning team was sent to the house a couple of hours after your message. They took out every single thing from all the kitchen cupboards, cleaned everything consciously and put everything back again. I apologize again for the inconveniences caused regarding this issue. As for the plates, indeed we do buy them in Ikea and we substitute them quite often. We just replaced them after your review as we always have some in our store room, so thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, the microwave broke up on your arrival, as apparently it was working the day before. This type of things happens and we brought you a new one the day after your notification. We also had a look to the parasol; there was a damaged piece, so we made a fix so you could use it during your stay. As for the water leak in the bathroom upstairs, I have no a clue why you did not tell me about this if this was so annoying for you, as our handyman could have resolved this quickly. These types of things are sometimes difficult to find out, if the guests do not inform us. The conservatory furniture is exactly as shown in the pictures. As you can see, there are not special cushions just normal ones. Due to the fact that the conservatory is very exposed to the sun we keep them inside, in the sofas area but guests can place them wherever they fancy. The garden table and chairs are the traditional ones we have always used. Naturally they are not luxury items but I do not understand what you mean with the cheapest of the plastics.
