Villa Ioanna es una villa cómoda y privada, muy tranquila pero a solo 5 minutos a pie del centro del encantador pueblo de Agia Efimia. En un espacio habitable de unos 100 metros cuadrados, ofrece alojamiento de alta calidad para hasta 5 personas. La villa dispone de aire acondicionado (habitaciones y sala de estar), bellamente amueblada y bien equipada con accesorios de las más modernas calidades. Con una piscina privada, terrazas privadas, un área de comedor a la sombra con barbacoa, es el lugar perfecto para pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables con la familia y los amigos. A poca distancia de un popular pueblo costero con todas las facilidades que pueda necesitar en sus vacaciones: pequeñas playas, calas idílicas con aguas cristalinas, numerosos restaurantes y cafés auténticos, fantásticas panaderías y carnicerías con productos locales. Todo esto a un aliento de la villa. No es necesario alquilar un coche, excepto para explorar la isla.

Wonderful!

Wow - it couldn't have been better! We arrived very late (flight delayed) and Eleni had laid on hot food and a full fridge for us, 'just in case'. Midweek clean and change, and even presents on departure. That's an amazingly high bar to keep up to. The villa itself is superb, and less than 5 minutes walk to the harbour, which is small enough to lack the crowds at the bigger ports, but big enough for several decent restaurants and cafes (and a traditional bakery) - go to Taverna Pergola!

Fantastic

Fantastic host greeted us at midnight with hot food and a fully stocked fridge. Villa is immaculate and has everything you need for a perfect stay. Easy walking distance to the beautiful village and marina. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Kefelonia. Superb!

Eleni and her family are great hosts, so welcoming and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Ioanna. The perfect rental holiday home

We stayed in Kefalonia for 10 days, and split our time between two houses. This was by far superior to our other home (which was new, fancy, and more expensive). First, the owner is the host. This makes a huge difference. She was very kind, attentive, easy to communicate with and made our stay comfortable. The location is great. You can walk into Agia Efimia, grab some gelato at night, go for dinner, shop for groceries. A very accessible location to the northern part of Kefalonia. The location is an A+. As for the house itself, it really has all you need. The pool and patio area is very nice. The house has air conditioning, which even if isn't always necessary, is nice to have. The tv connects to your iPhone and you can screen share and play movies or shows from your phone or iPad. The kitchen is equipped and while we didn't really cook much, everything was there. Overall this was a great experience, and we would stay again. Thank you!

Wonderful holiday in perfect villa

We had an absolutely amazing time staying in this superb villa. The facilities are excellent and the pool area absolutely great. It was immaculately clean and Eleni was a fabulous host helping us with everything we could possibly need! The villa is very close to the shops and tavernas so you can stroll to get everything you need with ease. We stayed in early April and the island was incredibly quiet and peaceful with empty beaches and perfect tranquility everywhere. Would highly recommend and we will definitely come back one day Thanks for a super trip!

Great location, stunning villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. It was clean, with great facilities for cooking indoor and outdoor. We appreciated the access to a washing machine. Hostess was extremely accommodating, arranging a car for us from the airport, taking away rubbish and laundry, even buying our children gifts to go home with. Small touches go a long way. The location is just what we like, a quiet spot, but a few minutes walk into the town. We would recommend staying here to anyone.

Stunning villa perfect location

We arrived to a beautiful cake, flowers and balloons as it was our honeymoon. The villa is beautiful and very well equipped with easy access to the village by electronic gate and a track. Stunning scenery with wild flowers surround you with butterflies and bees and the Kefalonian hills. The village has everything you could need and we certainly recommend bar Marabu for a lovely welcome and place to watch the world go by and Boulevarde boats for some fun on the water! The villa offers lazy days by the pool or a great base for exploring. Eleni is so lovely and is there if you need anything at all. We were so relaxed and the villa truely felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended.

Spring sunshine in a perfect location.

The facilities inside the villa, the space outside and the location were everything we could have hoped for. There was the feeling of being out in the countryside with direct access to a rough track which was ideal for gentle walks up the valley and yet we were only a few minutes walk from the restaurants and shops near the marina in the centre of the town. Added to this was the warm welcome, helpfulness and generosity of the owner, Eleni. Our plane was delayed so we arrived late in the evening and she had provided hot pizza for us as well as a bottle of wine in the fridge. We were there to celebrate my wife's special big birthday and Eleni had cooperated with a friend of my wife back in the UK to arrange a surprise bottle of champagne, birthday cake and beautiful flowers from her own garden. I could go on but suffice to say we had a wonderful time in Villa Ioanna.

Lovely villa in convenient and picturesque location.

I was impressed by the excellent communication from the moment of booking to our welcome reception at the villa. They arranged for our collection at the airport and indeed, as it was quite late on a Saturday evening, for us to stop at a main supermarket on our way to the villa. We were met by the owner Eleni and her daughter and were shown where everything was and how it worked. A very generous welcome pack awaited us. The daughter, who spoke excellent English, even helped me with the tv to get English channels and to change Netflix from Greek to English! The pool and the surrounding gardens were attended to early every morning and the owners were discreetly available to help in any way. There are good views to the sea from the bedroom balcony for breakfast and there are several eating areas around the villa, some with views of the surrounding countryside. We would highly recommend this villa for couples who enjoy privacy.

Green Villa Stay

Property was amazing, 3 minutes walk into town and harbour. Was met by owner on late arrival and was provided with eggs, bread, juice, rose wine and hot food for us - this was really nice and made all the difference. Pool was cleaned every day by a friendly pool cleaner who was quiet and was not intrusive. Property owner popped round mid week and delivered some juice, a bottle of red this time (tasty) and some snacks for our boys. Also on departure we were given a later checkout as no guests were coming that night and also some goodies for us as a thank you. We loved the gestures from the owner and the property location and the pool was really good with many places to sit at different parts of the day. Will be back for sure. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Great Villa, great location, great host

Villa Joanna is fantastic and located in a quiet location but only a two minute walk into the main Village. We chose not to hire a car and got a taxi from the Airport (55 Euros each way, about 50mins transfer time) arranged for us by the owners / Lida. The Villa itself is very modern and clean and has everything that you need. All rooms have air conditioning. The area outside is spacious and has areas for sun and shade all day. Outdoor eating is well catered for. The Village itself is lovely with several supermarkets, a bakery, butchers and plenty of bars and restaurants. It hasn’t been spoilt with commercialism and felt authentic. It has a relaxed vibe and definitely not a party place, which suited us perfectly. We ate at several restaurants and they were all reasonable. Our favourite was sea rock http://www.searockwsrestaurant.com/kefalonia/, a further walk round the coast and a little more expensive but definitely worth it for the view and food quality. There are several small beaches with beautiful views and crystal clear waters. Sea shoes are advisable as the stone beaches are uncomfortable to walk on when accessing the water. The iconic myrtos beach is a must see. The Bus service from Agia Efimia was easy to use although very infrequent. There are limited facilities on the beach so food provisions are a good idea and maybe a parasol. Based in the harbour, we used the yellow boat company to explore some coves only accessible by boat. Their service was comprehensive. 12 small coves / beaches can be reached within the permitted boundaries, the furthest point you could travel was about 40 minutes from the harbour. The host Eleni is a joy and made a huge difference to our stay. We have never experienced such hospitality. She visited several times to check all was ok, and the Villa had a full clean in the middle of the week. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t get to the Villa until gone 1am and she greeted us with generous amounts of food and drink. We also got to sample some of her husband’s home-made wine. Incredible service! Lida who manages the booking was also incredibly helpful and responded to my queries very quickly and efficiently. I cannot recommend this Villa and area enough if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday with superb accommodation / hosts and everything you need on your doorstep. We had a fantastic week and would definitely go back.

Can’t recommend Villa Joanna enough. Eleni and Family have thought of everything you could possibly need and their extra little touches make staying here extra special. The villa is quiet and private and the location is perfect in relation to local restaurants and bars.

The property is situated in a relatively quiet part of Kefalonia, popular with people on sailing holidays. This property is everything you need and more for your holiday. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Mrs Eleni is such a welcoming and generous host. We can’t recommend this property enough! The photos do not do it justice. Agia Efimia itself has a few small beaches or coves and plenty of authentic restaurants and bars to choose from, as well as, fantastic bakeries and butchers where you can buy lovely cheese. We cant wait to return!

Fantastic villa in a lovely location!

From start to finish our week at this villa was all that we hoped it would be and more. The property is spacious, well equipped and the lovely housekeeper comes in to clean every few days. We loved being within walking distance of shops tavernas and the sea. At the same time we could easily pass most of the day enjoying the garden and pool at the villa. The owners are responsive and extremely helpful. Highly recommended for a family holiday.

Fantastic villa, amazing host and beautiful location on a stunning island!

Villa Joanna is a new, modern villa, within easy walking distance of the lovely harbour which hosts a selection of small restaurants and shops. Agia Efimia has a lovely community feel and everyone was so friendly. Eleni, the owner of Villa Joanna is the perfect host; kind, helpful and attentive, but not intrusive. She kept the villa and the pool immaculate throughout our stay. We arrived to a welcome pack of essential goodies which was most welcome after a day of travel. The location was perfect for accessing the mountains and the beautiful coast. We have fallen in love with Kefalonia and will be back!
